I sigh to myself as I think about the ups and downs of this morning. The two good things about this morning was seeing my angel and getting her to come to dinner tonight. I can't get over the shock of seeing Logan open the front door of her house. Of hearing Eli call her daddy.

As I walk through the front doors of school and head to my locker my head swarms with these thoughts. It feels as though Logan's already won. She's now Elijah's "daddy" and Amber seems to accept her presence in the house. The only one who has yet to really claim Logan is my angel.

I slam my locker close as Vic walks up to me saying "I still can't believe you fucking beat me man. Three fucking years I've been undefeated."

"It was bout time I kicked your ass." I said as we walked into Ms. Brown's class.

"Next it'll be me kicking his ass." Vicky says as we start to take ours seats. Vic and I just look at each other before laughing in her face.

My angel comes in followed by Logan, they both take their seats as Ms. Brown takes attendance. The rest of class goes by in a blur with me staring at my angel for the rest of class as she talked to Lucy. When bell rings snapping me out of my daze I make my way out of the classroom with Vic and Vicky hot on my heels.

We head to my locker as we put our stuff away getting ready to head to history with Mr. Simon. As we're walking in I see Violet standing by the door. She pulls me away from class once I'm within reach. When we turn the corner I stop letting her drag me and ask her "What do you want?"

"You." she says as she opens the custodian's closet door pulling me in with her.

"Look Violet I can't do this. We're not mates." I tell her as I push her away slightly.

"That didn't stop you before." she says with a pout as she reaches for me again.

"It does now." I say as I move out of the way "We should get to class."

"No." she says as she grabs onto my shirt keeping me in place.

"Let go of me Violet." I hiss at her softly as I try to control my anger.

"You're not just going to use me." she growls out at me "Now you can either do what I say or I can tell my brothers."

I can already tell my eyes are forest green as I growl "And what the fuck will they do? Besides get their ass kicked. I've said this once and I don't like repeating myself but in your special ass case I will. We're not mates therefore I'm not doing this."

She looks up at me before bringing her hand up quickly and letting it land on my cheek. I take a deep breath through my nose as I try to calm myself down. Her hand comes up once again as she tries to repeat her actions from before but this time my hand easily comes up and grabs her wrist, holding it tightly.

She raises her other hand and soon I'm gripping that one as well. I push her back into the wall of the closet as I restrict her hands above her head. She's glaring up at me as I growl "You ever hit me again and you'll have more to worry about than me not wanting to fuck you."

I pause as I breathe once again trying not to rip her to shreds before saying "This is how it's going to be. You're not going to look at me. You're not going to speak to me. You're basically going to leave me the fuck alone or I'm going to show you a side of me you have yet to see."

Letting go of her hands as I walk out of the closet and head back to class. I knock on the door and wait for someone to answer it before walking into class. I can see Vic and Vicky giving me strange looks but I just head to my seat. As I pretend to pay attention to the lesson I can't help but think of Violet.

If she'll take my warning seriously or continue to play these childish games. Mr. Simon tells us to work on vocabulary giving us the page number there on and telling us when they are due. Vic and Vicky immediately come to my table sitting down and asking me questions such as.

"Where'd you go?"

"Why do you look as if you're about to kill everyone?"

"What's a matter with you?"

"Why's there a red ass mark on your cheek?"

I give them a blank look as I wait for them to shut the fuck up. I guess they realized I wasn't answering them and slowly quieted down. I sigh as I start telling them what happened before I got to class. During the whole time they just stared at me without saying anything. As I finally finished the bell was ringing telling us to go to third hour.

I stood up and walked out of the classroom with them following me silently. As we passed Mrs. Richards class Vicky leaves us going to her next class as we head to our wood shop class. Vic doesn't speak till we're gearing up for wood shop, we are putting on our glasses when he says "You think we should tell alpha?"

I pause as I reach for my measuring tape before saying "Yea, I'll probably tell my dad tonight."

We walk into the machine room and I head over to the tables so I can draw up plans for a new project, knowing it wouldn't be good to work with machinery right now. As I work my mind can't help but wander to everything that's been going on.

It seems like my whole world has been crumpling ever since I met my mate, like everything I've done in the past is coming back to haunt me now. It's showing me that karma really is a bitch but she's a fool if she thinks she's winning this one.

I groan as Eve stops Teddy and me from walking out of Spanish to head to lunch. She smiles up at me as Teddy stares on curiously at me occasionally taking glances at Eve.

"Yea?" I say as I look down at Eve and grab Teddy's hand.

"I was wondering if you had a date to prom yet." she says as she takes a swift look at Teddy.

"Ah no not yet." I say as I also look towards Teddy. She turns her gaze towards the floor as her cheeks flush a light pink.

"Well it's coming up soon and I was wond­-" she starts to say before I cut her off by saying "I already have someone in mind."

"Oh." she whispers as her eyes go to the floor in front of her feet.

"Ah see you later then?" I say and just barely see her nod her head before I'm dragging Teddy off as we continue to lunch.

We get around the corner of the hallway we left Eve in and I feel a tug on my hand as I hear a soft "Logan."

I glance down at her and see her staring up at me as we come to a stand still with me saying "Mm?"

"Um could you maybe ah watch Eli tonight for me?" she stutters out as she looks at my chest avoiding my eyes.

"Ah yea sure no problem." I say as we slowly start walking again "Where are you going though?"

"To dinner." she whispers as we enter the cafeteria heading to the lunch line. I grab a tray for Teddy as I ask "Want the same lunch?"

She nods her head and I grab her, her usually lunch before moving down the line with Teddy in front of me. We get to the cashier and I pay for Teddy's lunch before walking after her to Lucy. She sits down across from Lucy as I set her tray in front of her and she begins to eat.

I walk over to my normal table and take a seat before glancing over at Teddy as she eats and talks to Lucy. I hear someone chuckle as they say "Finally have time for us?"

I turn towards the voice as I ask "What you mean?"

Matthew snorts as he says "You've barely graced us with your presence and when you do you snap my neck."

"Next time watch what the fuck you say. You're becoming a little disrespectful cunt and I'll snap your neck every time you act that way." I hiss in his direction as he pales and gets up from the table, leaving the cafeteria.

Maddi glances at me before getting up and going after Matt. It seems as though the whole table is quiet waiting for someone to speak. I sigh as I ask them "So what did you guys do last weekend?"

Rebecca gulps as Cory answers with "We went to the movies like we said we would."

I'm about to respond when the bell goes off and we all stand heading to gym. I walk and I can't help to look around for Teddy but I don't spot her so I continue on towards gym. Getting to my locker I open it and begin taking off my shirt when I hear someone call my name.

I bring my shirt over my head completely taking it off then look around to see who called me. My eyes land on Eve as she stares up at me. Her face colors as I look down at her waiting for her to speak.

"Um are you sure about prom?" she stutters out as her eyes go back and forth from my abs and eyes.

I grab my gym shirt putting it on as I answer her "Yea."

"Huh? I can't hear you." she says as my shirt goes over my head.

"Yea I'm sure." I say as I put my arms through and pull my shirt down.

Her mouth forms a frown as though she thought I'd say something different if Teddy wasn't around. She walks off with a sad look on her face as I finish getting ready for gym before going into the gym. I see Matt, Maddi, Cory, and Becky all standing in a circle talking.

I walk over to them and hear the last bit of their convo "­-he got her beloved. Stop messing with her befo­-"

They stop talking and stare at me as I make my way into the circle saying "My bad Matt. Just been feeling stressed lately sorry for taking it out on you."

Everybody's faces express shock and confusion as I finish talking. Matt smiles as he says "No problem bro."

Mr. Taylor walks in and says to give him ten laps then to stretch. I take my time as I run today not feeling like showing off and coming in first. As I turn the bend around the corner I hear a soft whimper making me halt in my movements.

I jog over to the outer edge of the gym and see someone on the ground hugging their knees to their chest with their head tucked in also. I bend down as I ask "Hey you alright?"

I hear a muffle of sounds come from the person, who I can now see is a girl by her shape. I slowly untuck her arms as I ask "What was that?"

My heart breaks as I look into the eyes of my Teddy. I take her arms and place them around my neck as I lift her up. Her grip tightens around my shirt as I begin walking out of the gym the back way. As I get into the hallway I head to Mrs. Steel's room.

She's sitting in a chair at her computer when we finally get to her room. Looking up upon our entrance and stands immediately when she sees Teddy in my arms asking "What happened?"

"I don't know." I whisper as I lay her down on the bed "Can you do something?"

She doesn't say anything but begins to take off Teddy's shirt as I turn around and face the door. I can hear her mumbling to herself as she works on Teddy and it does nothing to calm my nerves. We stay like this, me facing the door and her working, for at least twenty to thirty minutes.

I feel a hand touch my back and I turn around to find Mrs. Steel looking up at me. She motions with her hand towards Teddy and I glance over seeing something wrapped around her midsection. I look back at Mrs. Steel as she tells me "Whatever happened to her was not an accident."

She walks out of the room and I just stand there looking towards Teddy wondering who would want to hurt her. Her eyes flutter open and I make my way over to her, bending down beside her bedside. I smile at her as I ask "How you feeling?"

"Painful." she whispers as tears start to fall from her eyes.

"Teddy?" I say as I wipe her tears and wait for her to look up at me before continuing "Who did this?"

She shakes her her head as she closes her eyes not responding. I sigh as I ask "Are you going to tell me?"

She just looks at me as I grasp her hand lightly asking "If I don't know who did this how can I protect you?"

She looks down at our hands as she mumbles some words I can't hear so I ask "Huh?"

"B­-Boys in our g­-gym class." she stutters out as her grip on my hand tightens.

"What boys?" I ask her as I lace our fingers together.

"The o­-ones that threw the dodge balls a­-at me." she says as she looks up into my eyes.

Jayden and Jacob Smith. I try to keep from storming out of the room and finding them knowing Teddy needs someone right now. I can feel my eyes turning navy blue just thinking about them touching Teddy. I stand as I release Teddy's hand from mine as I murmur "I'll be back."

Rushing out of the room as I head back to gym. I burst into the guys locker room immediately seeing half dressed guys with shocked expressions as I hiss "Where are the Smith's?"

A freshman gains his senses first as he points and says "Showers."

I follow in the direction he gave me and find the showers in less than a minute. I swing open the shower curtain of the closet shower and see a sophomore boy blocking his privates as he stares up at me in shock. I throw the shower curtain back as I move to the next one doing the same as before but seeing a freshman boy this time.

I glare as he steps forward and flashes me his two inch twiddle dick. Pushing him back as I throw the shower curtain back into place and move to the next shower. The shower curtain goes back and I see brown dreads come into view. I reach my hand into the shower as I yank the person out of the shower.

"Son of bitch..." I hear as I toss them on the floor of the room.

He glares up at me with dark brown eyes and that's when I know it's Jacob I've just pulled from the shower. He goes to open his mouth but my foot connects with his jaw before he can utter a single word. I hear a crack as he screams out in pain and my foot comes down on his stomach.

I can see everyone exiting their showers as his screams fill the air. I lift my foot as I get ready to kick him in the stomach again only to hear my name being called "Logan!"

I glance up and see Jayden Smith in a towel, that's covering his lower half, glaring at me with his brown eyes. I glare at him as I bring my foot down on his twin brother's stomach again making sure to put pressure until I hear a snap. Jayden rushes at me and Jacob lets out a wail of pain as I bring my foot back to the ground.

He throws his fist as he tries to punch me but I duck under it and push him into a shower. I turn and see him flailing around trying to get out of the shower curtain. I look towards a junior as I hiss "Give me your belt."

His hands shake as he reaches down and undoes his belt handing it to me after. I grasp the buckle before turning it upside down once I remember these assholes are werewolf's. As he finally untangles himself from the curtain and comes from out of the shower I raise my arm and swing.

The buckle catches him off guard and hits him across the face as his whole body goes towards the ground. I swing the buckle at him again and again as I growl out the words "If you ever in your fucking life touch her again I'll fucking kill you."

He's screaming as the buckle hits his flesh repeatedly leaving scars all over his body. As I go to hit him again I hear someone call my name "Logan."

I turn around towards the voice and see Cory and Matt standing there with their eyes wide. I look around the locker room and see every guy looking as if they're scared to even breathe in my presence. Dropping the belt as I turn around and wordlessly leave the locker room.
