I was fucking terrified when Esmee asked what was my relationship with Avha. What was I to say? Friend? Fuck NO! I'd die the day she'd friendzone me. But then again I had dodged the question well and at that moment nobody noticed much, but Esmee would maybe ask again or just won't, looking at that I didn't wanna share anything about this topic.

So again what were we? Girlfriend boyfriend? I don't fucking know. We hadn't even talked about it and if she hadn't brought it up, I was no stupid to pull that convo. And who likes to be rejected, but then I need to clear this. Fuck me! Esmee comes and brings the dilemma along. Fucking sibling shit, she started vomiting my childhood things. I was a damn kid. I know Avha wasn't letting it go. She'd surely pull my leg over that fucking sink incident. Tell me what drug was I on to do that fucking thing. Godd!!

"I'll be taking Avaha out with my friends," Esmee said. She was now sitting at the chair in front of the dining table and I was today working from home. In fact, I had to make sure this stupid doesn't create a ruckus here.

"Slow it down, Ess. She needs time warming up with people. I don't want her getting overwhelmed." I gave her a side-eye and she rolled her eyes. One day imma remove those fucking eyes from her damn socket and feed them to fishes.

"I wasn't asking and besides I know she'll say yes" Flipping her hair she tried sassing me.

"Of Course, she will. She doesn't want you, who apparently and unfortunately is my sister being rejected or said 'No'. She'd try not to make you feel bad by saying yes." I said throwing a pen at her which she ducked and smiled triumphantly.

"Oh shut up fucktard. In Fact, I want her to go out with me and my friends. Let her have a change of scenery. She'll like it" She said, throwing the pen back at me and I caught it in my hand and slammed it down on the table.

"You've got a fucking asshole friends, one and two, please let her be. She'll be sad in the end, I just fucking feel it in my bones. I know you want her best but think about it. Give her the damn time, Ess" She shook her head and leaned forward in her chair munching on those damn cookies. Those were our favorites. This person has got a dumpster in her stomach.

"She'll be just fine. Let's try this time if she's happy we'll do it again and if not we won't and I'll leave your place tomorrow."

"Good riddance" I mumbled. "If this ends badly because of you or your friends, the person is gonna have the worst time of their life. I don't make empty threats and you fucking know it. Ya don't mess with my girl and get away with it."

She gulped and nodded reluctantly.

"Good," I said and got back to my work. Get me her coffee or simply her.

"Ryan, Andrew's partner, Get me his file and updates on his scene," I said on the call and opened my laptop.

"He's the friend of one of the druggies. The one we held a year ago. He says he knows about us because he and his other friends have been in contact with the cops the cops vomited everything after a bottle of liquor. They saw you and Avaha somewhere, a diner I guess. Followed her and threatened her ' Ryan said and I stiffened. My baby could have been hurt because of that shit.

"Feed him nicely. I'll be there in a few"
