《Mine (Alec Volturi Fanfiction)》(3)

Minutes passed as Diana stood in Alec's chambers which was full of black and grey furniture with some colours in certain places but not much.
Everything was very nutural but she loved it.
Alec was gone and was feeding is she was alone.
Everything felt too surreal and like a dream.
She came to Italy thinking that it would all be ok and that she would be able to be home soon but the complete opposite happened.
She was in Italy and would never go home but in a way, she was ok with it.
Bella used her and ignored her when she wasn't useful and Charlie always forgot about her as she was quiet and stayed in her room when she wasn't in school.
She was Bella's twin but she felt older by the way she was treated.
She never got to be a teenager as she didn't really have any friends.
She liked to be alone.
She sat on the all-black bed that had silk sheets.
She laid down as she melted into the memory foam matrice.
She questioned why Alec had a bed as vampires didn't sleep but then again it could be a decoration and furniture he used to lounge on.
She cuddled into the sheet before drifting off to sleep.
She didn't gave to worry about anything which was nice.
Alec walked out of the throne room after feeding.
All he couldn't think was Diana.
He barely knew anything about her but the moment he saw her he wanted to protect her and make sure that she was happy, healthy and safe until she was turned and even then he wanted to give her everything he could.
He usually would walk with Jane after feeding but he craved to be around Diana without his sister.
As he got closer to his chambers he could smelt her sweet scent which was a mix of her heavenly blood and her perfume.

He opened the door to see her asleep.
He smiled before slowly closing the door.
He rushed to her and carefully took off her boots before slowly moving her so she was under the duvet.
He placed the silk duvet on her before kissing her head.
He watched her as he moved to the couch that was in the centre of the room.
It was in front of his fireplace and bookcases that held the books that he collected through the years.
He moved the couch before sitting down.
He watched her as serotonin filled him.
Just when he had started to lose hope of finding his mate Diana came into the throne room and proved him wrong.
For once in all his thousands of year's he had someone that wasn't Jane or Demetri or Felix.
Someone he could shower love onto and give a perfect life away from her family which Alec hated.
He knew eventually he would have to turn her but he didn't want to just yet.
Having her human was perfect.
Her heart was like his personal song and her fragile body gave him a reason to protect her.
Suddenly Aro came in with a smile.
"I see we've exhausted her," said Aro.
Aro looked at Alec "Jane will not be happy about this so I would keep Diana away for a while" said Aro.
"She'll be fine, there are ways to keep me on Jane's good side," said Alec.
"Indeed, I came here to inform you of your mission tomorrow.
Santiago will be going instead so you can help Diana adjust.
Tomorrow there should be a chef in the kitchen so she won't starve" said Aro.
"Thank you master," said Alec.
Aro smiled "You've waited long enough, why not cherish her before turning her," said Aro.
There is was, that thought that made Alec's face drop.
He knew before she turned nineteen she would have to be turned but knowing the king's he would only have a few months with her before having to turn her.

Meek
After failing as an apprentice cooper and a town guard, Eli finds his place at the Rockbridge archives. Sure, he's the oldest 'junior scribe,' but he likes the job. And he's good at it, too. Then he completes an apparently-insignificant project, and the brutal reaction shocks him--with consequences that eventually shake the world. Eli gains powers. Rare and inhuman abilities. He progresses slowly, steadily, and not without setbacks. He changes, too. Is he a hero, a villain, a human, a monster? Depends who you ask. Meek is an epic fantasy with elements of progression. The basic magic is simple: five Paths, each with a different powerset. However, complexity arises from combinations, and the protagonist wields a magic all his own. Meek is set in the Valley, the only (as far as anyone knows) human empire that survived a Final Battle against a terrible foe. The Valley is warded against infiltration, but the enemy learned how to warp human souls, to foment discord within. However, another soul is also ... changed. Perhaps even 'warped.' And that soul is starting on a long (long, long) path that might, one day, prove that the Final Battle wasn't so final after all.

Asturian Warbringer - A LitRPG on Earth
Currently releasing 5 chapters a week Luke Kells liked only one thing about himself: his green eyes. He hated getting bullied, hated being poor, hated being an orphan, hated his weakness, hated the government, hated his life. If someone had given him a button to push and kill everyone but him and his granddad, he would've done it without a second thought. Then, one day, after fainting during a beating, he woke up with memories that would change his life. Magic, martial arts, how to craft special artifacts; he knew it all. Anyone would’ve taken that path to glory at once. However, he had to deal with a lot on his plate first. To even begin walking that path, Luke first had to deal with his own psychological issues. Almost two years of brutal bullying that was akin to torture and no support from the school staff of the police had left him with a broken soul. Before even realizing he could be rich or powerful, he had to bring himself out of the mental hellhole he found himself in. Oh, and his memories also told him the Sentinel Tower would change reality in six months to protect the planet from the Demonic Horde. But that wasn’t as important as not making the local bully angry, right? A story about personal growth, overcoming obstacles, and reaching absolute glory at the end of the path. This is a slow-paced, character-centered story. If you want something faster paced, filled with almost immediate and nonstopping action, check out my other novel: Modern Awakening - A cultivation, LitRPG, apocalyptic novel.
