Chapter 30
Rahmik Ford
3 months later
Time was movin' with the baby on the way and all, we had already gotten the gender of the baby, but my mama a nem goin heavy over the top with this whole reveal shit. I didn't care much for it honestly.
At Nia's last appointment the doctor was saying that everything was lookin' ok and her iron levels were steady so that was a plus in my book. I wasn't tryna hurt my head thinkin' bout leaving any of my babies inna hospital.
Right now my mama and Nia were downstairs planning, even though it was mainly my mama. Nia wasn't really checkin for this shit. Her focus at this time was mainly on Tracey seeing that she'd given birth to her lil girl a few days ago. Nia was on that baby shit heavily now I mean I wasn't mad or nun but the crying was crazy, the cravings were whack as fuck but the sex? Bro it was like pregnant pussy hit on a different level. I swear that shit was wetter than normal.
She had a stomach now and complained a lot about not being able to fit into certain things. Sometimes she'd just burst into tears over it and ion even be knowin' what to do.
Just a fuckin' cry baby dawg.
We were on better terms, after all that talkin' we was able to mend a few cracks, that was my baby and all, but things she did before that I'd never questioned- I was questioning now. I hated how I felt like I had to be looking over my shoulder now when it came to her, but that shit she had me feelin' was different and I'on wanna ever be placed in that position again.
She deserved a right to clear herself, better yet I've done countless shit that she'd let slide. I knew it wasn't fair to her, I was learning her more and vice versa. Shit had to change if a baby was coming into play now.

I knew I had stubborn ways and she knew she had her faults, same way. It was gradually making progress, before I'd get angry at anything she did that didn't sit well with me, but now with her emotions all over the place it was like I had no choice but to tip-toe around her with the shit I said.
"Rahmik!" I heard my mama yell as I started to make my way downstairs.
"Wassup?" I asked getting to the bottom seeing her with a note book in her hand as Nia sat with her legs folded eating a jar of vlasic sweet baby pickles. That was literally all she ate besides home cooked meals. For some odd reason she hated anything takeout now.
"I only plan on inviting close family and friends, such as yours and Nia's I don't know if you want me to invite your cous-"
"Ma' chill with all that. We only tryna see what we havin' leave all that extra for the shower..." I said getting a bit irritated.
"Babe can you hand me the remote please?" Nia asked pointing to the coffee table.
"Ok so fine, I guess I'll just get your gramma them to come." She said making me shrug.
"Nia is your granny gonna be able to make it?" She asked as Nia nodded.
"Yea Rah is suppose to pick her up from the airport tomorrow." She spoke as my mom wrote wrote down somethin'.
"Ok so I guess that's it." She mumbled.
"I'll call y'all later, I gotta go grocery shopping and I gotta put in the order for the cake." She said hugging Nia before giving me a hug.
"I'll get back to y'all. I'd already book with the planners, so make sure that you do something with that backyard Rahmik." She warned as I have her a head nod and she left.

"This is really a lot." I heard Nia mumbled.
"Tell me about it." I sighed sitting beside her as I grabbed her feet and rested both of em in my lap.
"Everyone's just crazy, Erin's talking about doing the reveal with fire works. Your moms head is basically gone..." she exclaimed causing me to laugh.
"Tracey won't be able to make it." She mumbled sounding sad.
"It's gone be alright. I mean there's always the shower." I said looking at her as she pouted taking a bite of another pickle.
"I mean after all this I don't even know if I wanna have a shower...it so much."
"Don't worry bout it, I'll just tell everyone to drop whatever shit off at the door, nothing extra." I said causing her to laugh.
"I think I would very much like that."
"When is Tez suppose to be coming for his things?" She asked resting her hand on her stomach.
"Hopefully today, I called the cleaning crew and they gave me Friday so anytime before then." I said as she nodded.
Tez and Kayla was back at they shit, so I guess that was him for now. I ain't never knocking nobody for what they chose to do. Everybody got they own shit they dealin' with.
"Ok, I guess after the reveal we'd be able to get to work on baby Fords room." She said makin' me smile, her ass had everybody callin' my baby that shit.
Her features were more visible now that she was pregnant. Nia was always a fine ass girl but this pregnancy was just doin' her right, her lil cute chunky face only got chunkier she hated it but I was in love with that shit.
My baby was beautiful, I thought I was attached to her a lot before but it was even worse now hence her carryin' my seed. I wanted to be up underneath her every second a the day. I guess I'd become the clingy one now.
"Why are staring at me like that?" She said knocking me out of thought as she blushed.
"Just admiring the fact that my baby's havin' my baby..." I said licking my lips as she cheesed real hard.
"You're something else Rahmik." She laughed.

Shrike
He wants to play the latest and greatest VRMMORPG game, but he can't muster up the cash for the fancy new proprietary hardware and membership license. After months of saving up cash and arduous work, he has built a behemoth of a machine relying almost entirely on seedy old technology and a DIY guide by some dude named "Jimmy Bob." This is the story of his entry into the game. This is also a story of intrigue, exploration, introspection, batshit crazy game design, and unintended but entirely predictable consequences. This is G.C.O. Undergoing a total re-write, mostly because I think things were too rushed rather than any content or direction changes. If you are one of the few who tried Shrike when it was briefly updating, consider giving it another shot. Of no relation to either The Great Crusade or the recent (in 2017 lol) Shrike book for Warhammer by Games Workshop. All similarities in these cases are superficial; please don't sue me. Feedback welcome and encouraged, never be afraid to review or comment. HQ/Kindle-Grade cover art. Book Cover 2.0: "From the Dark"
