《WALKER》SIX

Elliot handed the keys over to Noah so I took my gun out before pointing it at Noah's head.
"Give me the keys." I said and Noah smirked before walking towards the jeep. I cocked my gun and he stopped in his tracks.
"I have fucking went through hell and back to get my hands on those keys so hand them over before I blow your brains out." I said and he raised his hands before turning around and walking up to me.
"You're really gonna waste your ammo on me?" He asked in a teasing manner while holding the keys up so I grabbed them from him.
"I'm in charge." I said while looking at my brother and his best friend and they nodded before following me to the car.
"Get in and be nice." I said before climbing behind the steering wheel.
"This is Faith, Faith this is my brother Elliot and this is Noah." I said and Faith smiled.
"The Noah?" She asked and I closed my eyes in embarrassment. When I opened them Noah was already smiling at me.
"Your brothers annoying friend." Faith said and I sighed in relief. Noah rolled his eyes at me.
"She left the part out about us dating." Noah said so I hit his arm.
"Woah! You brought my Xanax?" Elliot asked while holding the bag in his hand.
"Yes, did you rob a hospital or a shrink?" I asked and he shrugged.
"You don't go to the pills, Rosaleigh. You let the pills come to you." He said before doing his secret handshake with Noah then they laughed.
"That doesn't make sense." I said boredly.
"Where are we heading, babe?" Noah asked and I felt faint butterflies in my chest.

"We're heading south and don't call me that." I said the last part in frustration.
"Hell the fuck no. You're not going after mom and dad." Elliot said angrily.
"They're our parents." I said and he frowned at me.
"They fucking left me in a store filled with rotters back when the outbreak started. I'm not going back for people like them." Elliot said angrily.
"They're still our parents." I said blankly.
"Well they're not mine, they did the same to Paige and Mal and they weren't as lucky as me to escape." Elliot said so I stopped the car.
"What did you say about Mal and Paige?" I asked angrily and Elliot sighed tiredly.
"I said our parents murdered our sister and her daughter." Elliot said and I started crying uncontrollably.
"No they're still out there." I cried sadly.
"It's true, Ro." Noah said in a gentle tone so I rested my face in my hands. I heard my door opening, Noah took my hand into his so I climbed out of the car before hugging him tightly.
"I know." He said while kissing my forehead. "Let Elliot drive." He said and I nodded before getting in the back with him. I rested my head on his shoulder before wiping my tears dry.
"Why did I come home?" I asked sadly and Noah interlocked our fingers.
"You were looking for your family and you've found us. Right now we're all we've got, just the four of us." He said before kissing my forehead and I nodded.
"We survive together." Elliot said from the front seat and I closed my eyes before allowing myself to breathe.
"Babe what happened to your wrists?" Noah asked so I kept quiet he took my chin into his hand before frowning in concern. "Your lips busted too." He said and I ran my hand through my dark hair.

"Who did that to you?" Elliot asked angrily.
"Just some guy, I handled it." I said and they frowned.
"Unless you killed them I don't think you handled it." Elliot said angrily.
"I killed them." I said blankly. "All four of them." I continued before moving away from Noah.
"You killed them?" Noah asked and I just kept quiet.
"It had to be done. I did it to protect myself because these days men can't look at a girl without wanting to take advantage of them. I've been fighting off rapists and murderers for seven years, I'll be damned if I let them touch me now. I have Faith to protect now too, her life means more to me than my own." I said and Noah just nodded.
"We're not judging you." Elliot said softly. "We've done the same before. Maybe even worse." He added so I nodded.
"This is the world we live in now. We didn't have a choice but to become this way. The government did this to us, we're the outlaws. We don't belong anywhere." He said blankly.
"Rotter at five o'clock." Noah said and Elliot laughed.
"Why is that thing so big?" I asked in confusion.
"It's a mutant." Noah said and I frowned deeply. "They're common on the South side." He added and I nodded in understanding.
"How do they become mutated?" I asked curiously.
"The fogs one hundred percent." Elliot said in a sure tone. "They keep growing with each fog, soon those fuckers'll be giants." Elliot said and I frowned at him.
"Don't say that." I said and he shrugged. "Where's the fog coming from anyway?" I asked and they shrugged.
"Probably the sky or some sort of lab." Noah said and I nodded in understanding. I searched the grocery bags before handing some energy bars out to everyone and they thanked me.
"Hey kid. You okay?" I asked Faith and she nodded before looking back at the road. I think she feels safe around the boys, I feel safe around them. They're my people.
"We have to find shelter." Noah said and I agreed.
"A town maybe, just no open or isolated spaces." I said blankly.
"Smart." Elliot said shortly.
"Any other requests?" Noah asked so I rolled my eyes at him.
"Don't get bitten." I said before we all laughed. The most basic rule in the book. It doesn't take a genius to know that.
"Especially not by a mutant. Their bites don't turn, it kills you on sight." Noah explained and my eyes widened in shock.
"Got it." Faith said and I smiled at her.
"Eat up buttercup." I told her and she smiled at me before continuing to eat the energy bar in her hand so I did the same.
So we have a new threat, mutated walkers and they're fatal.

The Legendary Class
At the height of the Age of Terror, humankind lay shattered, its few survivors scattered like dust in the wind. It is said that at the brink of extinction, the Gods intervened and blessed five champions known as “The Titans” with legendary classes. To this day, every small child dreams of obtaining a legendary class. Whether there is any truth to this ancient tale is unknown, but it is a certainty that in each generation perhaps a handful of those children will, in fact, obtain a legendary class. But, if they ever did, the Gods no longer answer prayers, and, in modern times, a legendary class is often far from a blessing.
