The announcement of our wedding will start any minute, right after the Queen of Scotland and now Queen Mother of Italy are done getting ready for tonight.

I'm actually not ready to get marry yet but I'm not saying that I don't want to marry Marco, he's the love of my life. If this is the time, well it's time so I'll go for it. I'm happy to be marrying my childhood bestfriend. First of all, Marco and I went to the same

school but we don't talk to much there. He's quiet and shy, he doesn't talk to his peers while the way I act is way opposite of his actions. Our school is based in France, Marco was sent to France to study and because there was a threat to their crown in Italy. Since our parents were somewhat close, they let him stay in French Court and that's where I finally met him. Back then, Marco was big in size but he's cute, definitely! He once told me while we walked at our courtyard that he doesn't speak that much in school because of the other children- bullying him.

Ever since he told me that, I learnt a lot from it. I realized that moment that even being a royal, you will still feel that way. I became open minded to people- more understanding. We sticked together in school. I used my inner Catherine de Medici side on those mean brats. Never underestimate the power of a Medici! My grandmother used to say that to me when I was a child. Marco became my playmate ever since Jean-Philippe left to study which he also stayed with Lady Lola for the meantime.

We used to steal loaf of breads in the kitchen and brought it upstairs to my chambers. My mother told me about the secret passageways that she found when she first stayed in the castle. Marco and I used to check those passages to see where it'll end. There were so many memories I had with him in that castle and in France, generally. We were separated when he was safe to go back in Italy. Time is always precious for us- royals specially, right after a war in our country. If we have time to go back knowing that it's safe, then we won't hesitate.

*knock knock*

"Princess Alexandra, it is about to start"

"Queen Mary said that you should go down immediately"

A guard said

"I will, thank you!"

So I went down and peeked at the corridor of the throne room seeing a lot of Scottish lords and ambassadors waiting.

*tug tug*

"The Queen of Scotland is arriving"

All went silent and gave way to us

*tug tug*

"Queen Mary"

Announcer said as she enters

"Queen Mother Isabella of Italy"

"King Marco of Italy"

"Princess Alexandra of Scotland and France"

We entered the throne room

"As you all know, my daughter- Princess Alexandra is engaged with King Marco of Italy"

"They are here tonight for the wonderful and exciting announcement"

"Beside me is the Queen of Italy, Queen Isabella"

Queen Mary said

"I am here with your queen to announce the details of the royal wedding"

"I am pleased to tell that the wedding will be held here in Scotland"

"Followed by a special celebration to be held in Italy as the bride has requested"

Queen Isabella said

I can see all of them are glad for this announcement

"The wedding date is three days away from now"

"All invited people will be given a special sealed invitation, used with customized seal of the Bride and Groom"

"We expect all of you to support the wedding for our country and theirs"

Queen Mary explained

After the speeches, a lot of parties were held in different states in Scotland and Italy. They said that it's all for the wedding and that they are happy.

"Congratulations!"

My ladies went to me

"Oh I'm so excited for you"

They said

"And I can't wait!!"

I said

"Alexandra, girls"

"You should sleep early, guests are expected to arrive tomorrow"

Lady Greer said

"Greer is right"

"All of you should take a rest"

Mother said

"I heard all of us will be fitting for our gowns tomorrow"

She added

"Yeah"

"They told me"

I said

My ladies went with Lady Greer as I walked with my mother

"I can't imagine that my only daughter- my little girl will be marrying already"

She told me

"Well, mother"

"I'm no longer little"

"Plus you still have another baby to worry"

I joked

"James is only months old"

"And whatever happens"

"I will always be your little girl"

"I promise you that"

"Aww"

"I love you, Alexandra"

"I love you too mom"

"So so much"

I hugged her

"Oh I hope Francis could see this"

"Mother..."

"Be happy"

"We will visit father after the wedding"

"I want to visit France too"

"Great!"

"I'll settle the plans"

"Get some rest"

"We'll be very busy tomorrow"

She said before leaving me infront of my door
