《The Unwanted Mate (Edward Cullen x OC)》Pure Rage Emitted

"I'm sorry but who's the girl with the weird aura around her?"
A irritating voice is heard throughout the room just as my darling niece offers her aid to the small vampire in the room. She always has admired the Cullen Coven for their peaceful living.
A growl slowly makes its way up my throat as I narrow my eyes on the wretched human "you dare speak out in our throne room? Do you have no respect? If you got your head out of your ass long enough to listen you would've heard Gaia's words when she entered. She is Marcus' daughter and thus being Aro's and myself's niece. Speak against her again and I will end you." I threaten with such finality in my tone even the guards look scared. Well they know my family comes first even before the coven.
Edward looks ready to attack but the human puts a hand on his chest and he calms down. Now, that was definitely the wrong move because another growl is heard but this time it is Marcus which shocks the three guests. "I would suggest that we inform you of our findings earlier today. You see, human, you are not his mate no matter how much he insists you are. You are merely his blood singer who is keeping him from his true mate. Now, being the mere human you are you may not know the importance of a true mate. But let me tell you" before Marcus can finish ripping into the human girl Aro raises his hand to stop him.
"Brother, allow me. I do not wish for you to cause our dear Gaia any hardship by you losing your calm demeanour." He says while gesturing to my niece who just is looking shocked at her father. My brother sees this and pulls her into his lap and just hugs her, that is what I love about that small girl. She can bring everyone to a soft side of themselves. While I was staring at my dear family I didn't see Aro stand and walk in front of the girl. "You see, Bella, a true mate is something extremely special. A true mate is even more special than a mate. A true mate is someone who is our other half, the other half of our soul if you will. So, when denying your true mate you are not only killing your half of your soul but the matching half. By your, boyfriend, denying such a bond to flourish, he is killing someone who he doesn't even wish to know the identity of. Now, is that fair? Is it fair to make someone who has been waiting their entire life to die just because two people believe their obsession is true?" Aro's words hit her with such force she has silent tears running down her cheeks. I scowl and lean back into my throne looking at the scene. Alice looks apologetic to Gaia, I guess she has worked out who the identity of his mate is. What is puzzling me is why Edward hasn't acknowledged any of our thoughts. "Young Edward why haven't you made our thoughts known?" I ask still looking at Alice as she is the only one who I can stand so far.

"When thinking of Bella, my mate, all thoughts become radio static so I don't hear them." That sentence gets another round of growls not only from myself and my brothers but also the guards who are standing on the sides of the room. The human, who I have found to be called Bella, looks ready to run out the room screaming.
"But why should I give up my love for someone who he doesn't want?"

A Castle in a Teacup
One might say that to anger forces beyond the ken of fragile breakable mortals is a bad idea, others might say that meddling in dark forces with little chance of gain is also a bad idea, they would both be right by on all counts but they forget to mention also how incredibly stupid combining both of those things are. Stupid people don’t last so long on the mystic side of things, normal folks who wander over to the other side have a tendency to do one of two things, either A. figure out that the best thing to do is keep their head down and not draw attention from any entity that refers to humanity as “you mortals” , or B. something horrifying happens to them. As you may have guessed I fell into the second category, mostly because I thought there was a third option. See I though there must be an option C, an option where I got to end up not as some shitty back ally wizard cowering at the chance of discovery, praying that one of my wards or spells wouldn’t be noticed by something that goes bump in the night. No I would be the one who rose above all that. I would never have to be afraid. Well I made a good attempt at it that’s for damn sure, but unfortunately for me it turns out there is not an option C. At least not for me…
