《Pantala High School》Sundew 3

Sundew had woken up earlier to try and avoid Belladonna. She got her bag, grabbed a sandwich and was out the door. It was much earlier than necessary to get to school, but she'll just do homework in the greenhouse until it was time.
There was a chilly mist hanging over the ground and a warm mist inside the greenhouse. Sundew was walking in the direction of the stone bench, but she froze as she saw someone already sitting there. It was a girl Sundew's age, she wasn't as tall but had similar long hazel hair. She was wearing a wide-neck green sweater and navy fitted jeans. Around her neck was a necklace, it had a thin chain with a small jade frog on it. Sundew thought she was rather pretty.
The girl was sitting quietly and smiling at the plants around her, like nothing could make it more perfect.
"Who are you? I've never seen you before." Sundew broke the silence and the girl turned her head to her, looking her up and down. She didn't seem startled by Sundew's presence.
"I'm Willow. I just moved here, that's why you've never seen me." Her smile was soft and sweet, and Sundew got lost in it before she spoke again.
"Oh, that's you? I think we're neighbors."
"Oh! That's great. Now I've met someone new, and a neighbor." She smiled again.
"I'm Sundew." Sundew said, trying to avoid an awkward silence. "You...do you like plants too?"
"Oh yes." Willow said happily. "There so much easier than people."
"I know, right?" Sundew asked, now she was smiling. She sat next to Willow on the bench and just enjoyed each others company. Sundew got out her essay that was almost finished.
"What's that?" Willow asked, looking over Sundew's shoulder.

"A silly report on frogs. It's due today, and only half finished."
"Oh. Maybe I could help?" She leaned forward and looked at the piece of paper. "Well, you could do this..." Willow helped Sundew finish her report and it came out really good. Sundew continually caught herself making goofy faces at Willow and continually reddened in embarrassment too much to notice that Willow was doing the same. After awhile Sundew checked the time and knew it was time to get to school.
The two of them walked in semi-awkward company to the school doors.
"Hey," Sundew forced out. "If we're neighbors, we should meet after school, to, you know, hang out. That was really fun in the greenhouse."
Willow smiled again. "That does sound fun. I'm sure we could arrange something."
They stood there grinning until Willow nodded again then quickly walked into the building. Sundew stood smiling as other students started showing up and walking past her. As she slowly started following them, all she was thinking about was the sweet girl she had met in the greenhouse.
