The ladies reached into the kitchen, laughing and reminiscing on good times. Hannah assisted on putting the food on the ladies' plates. In the midst of getting food, they asked each other about their families and children.

After they got their food, the ladies walked back into their seats in the living room. They said grace and started eating. Some put their food down on the coffee table and some ate on the floor. They proceeded to talk, laugh and check on their phones. Esther, Rahab, and Eve was pushing the Sony flatscreen TV in the living room on a rolling handmade stand. They watched TV, which is a broadcast news about the latest Trump fiasco. Soon after, they talk about the current subjects happening today.

"Trump is really president, huh?" Rahab said sarcastically. All the girls chuckle except Ruth, who's laughing.

Ruth glimpses at Rahab. "Giiirrrlll, let's not even go there."

"To be honest, I think God allowed it for a reason." Hannah suckling on a chicken.

"I mean I get that." Rahab drinks her tea. "But, you know how you want a warning? I was hoping that God would have given us a heads up that we would get a narcissist as a president. I know the Lord has been revealing what's to come but I didn't get that memo."

"We won't always understand why God do certain things. We just trust Him, can't question Him. The reason could have been anything." Esther shrugs her shoulders.

All the girls whirr in agreement.

Eve points at Esther with her chicken bone. "Good inference. At the end of the day, Jesus told and shows us all things. The Lord will reveal."

"Ummm like..He revealed your girl." Ruth mumbles. Eve didn't hear it; but, Rahab and Rebecca did. Rahab gave her a stern look. "Chill," Rahab whispers.

Ruth looked at Rahab and laughed. Rebecca gave her the 'really?' look.

this is going to be something.

Shara sneaks downstairs to hear the boys' conversations. They are playing a Mario game on the Switch, yelling and wolfing.

She gleamed when she heard Jin's voice. She truly is in love with Jin. She tried to keep it together and let her feelings go.

She can't.

She stays near the last step before entering into the den. She giggles a bit from when Jin asked if she was okay when she was crying about the argument she had with her mom.

Shara can't stop crying. She doesn't understand why her mom always nag at what she chooses to do with her life.

Throughout her life, her mom and she did not have the best relationship. They loved each other but argued most of the time. One part of it is because her brother left pursuing his own vocation. She didn't want Shara to do the same. Her mom wanted her to get a good job to be able to provide for herself and her future family, but Shara wants to be a writer. When her mom found out, she disapproved and told her she will kick her out of the house if she pursues writing.

While laying in the kitchen, she continues to sulk near the refrigerator. Although it's late at night, she doesn't care who finds her crying. She is just tired. Esther always comforts her but she know Esther is busy and don't want to bother her.

She's tired.

Why me? Why me?

While in her thoughts, she felt a tap on her shoulder. She jumps scared and sees Jin. She looks at him and goes back to rocking back and forth. He reaches down and sits next to her and looks at her.

"What's wrong Shara?"

Shara immediately cries harder. Jin grabs her and hugs her while she cries on his shoulder.

She tells Jin what's wrong while trying to calm down. Jin encourages her to breathe and reminds her everything will be okay. "Talk to your mom and have an adult conversation with her about how this makes you feel. Do what's best for you in the end Shara. Not everyone will root for you and not everyone will think of you. But you can root for you and think of you. And as you should."

Hearing Jin and laying on Jin's shoulder did something to Shara and her heart wouldn't stop fluttering.

Jin lets her go and lightly rubs her shoulder. "It will be okay. You have my wife if you ever need to talk to her. Esther is wonderful and I'm here as well. Your family and I will be praying for God to heal your soul."

Shara smiles and blushes a little.

"Thank you Jin."

This started more chats in the future.

She was so appreciative of Jin. Sometimes she went to him and he would let her rant then Esther came to talk to her. Sometimes she wasn't able to talk to Jin but she would wait until he was free. He knows almost everything about her past. Jin is a great listener and he would let her speak. She would sit on the couch while he would sat on his chair at his desk, offering suggestions if she ever needed it. It got to the point, she went to him the most. She always felt at peace when she spoke to him.

At one point, she realized that nothing was wrong but she made stuff up, just because she wanted to hear his voice. He brought up Esther a lot and how much his missed her. She would block that out all the time. She always hoped that Jin would speak about her in that way. Yet, hearing him gloat about his wife made her feel overwhelming joy.

Jin, why aren't you mine? I will find a way to make you mine.

Shara feels a vibration. She gets out her phone from her jacket and sees a call from Taylor, one of the servants and her friend.

Shara

Yes Taylor!

Taylor

We left.

Shara

Okay good I'm about to check in on the boys.

Taylor

.....trying to get at Jin again?

Shara

You said you wouldn't say nothing.

Taylor (bluntly)

I love Esther. Don't mess up their marriage.

Shara

You are on my side.

Taylor

Yes, but not when you're wrong honey.

Shara

Girl. I'm not trying to mess up anything.

Taylor (scoffs)

You love him Shara. You think I'm stupid? I see how you behave with him when he's around. He might don't see it yet but he will. Don't slip up.

Shara (rolls eyes)

Taylor.....do you need anything else?

Taylor (frustrated)

No...

Shara

Good so have a goodnight.

Taylor (sucks her teeth)

Bye.

Taylor hangs up, frustrated. She doesn't feel right about leaving now.

"Janine. Take me back to the mansion please."

"But it's 15 minutes away."

"Please. I have to go back."

"Alright." Janine sighs a bit and gets ready to make a U-turn at the next light.

Taylor clutches her phone. Sorry Shara but you aint hurting my friend.

Shara puts her phone back in her jacket pocket and pfts to herself. Taylor always got somethin to say about everything else; but she needs to mind her own. She takes a deep puff and steps in the den over to the couch area. The boys look over at her.

"Yes, Shara." Jin smiles a bit. Shara smiles. "Your majesty, do you need anything else before I go?"

"No thanks Shara." Jin looks at the boys. "Y'all good?"

The guys all say yeah. Jin then smiles at Shara and mouths 'thank you'. She blushes but hides it and begins to walk away. Then she heard her name being called again and walks back as Jin walks towards her.

"Yes Jin."

"Did you want to stay to help Esther?"

"I wanted to. I didn't feel like going home."

"Well yeah then let Esther know."

"Okay can I help you too?" Shara widens her eyes at Jin.

"Oh that's not necessary-"

"I think it is since your servants are having their own party." Shara giggles. Jin laughs.

"True. Okay." Jin says nicely. "But, we are good for now."

"Okay good. But Jin if you need anything specific, don't be scared to ask. I aim to please."

Jin furrows his eyebrows a little. "I'm good, thanks."

Shara smirks a little and leaves.

Yoongi walks up to Jin as Jin turns around and looks at him. "Could you have been right Yoongi?"

"About who?"
