"Your majesty, do you still want the snack table in the living room for the sleepover"
Esther is back at her home state Virginia. She truly misses it and her friends.
Esther was so excited and she is so glad that she arranged a sleepover for the girls. She missed them so much. After graduating from Harvard, she settled down with her husband and help rule the country of Dion. Ended up getting busy so only phone calls sufficed.
The story of Esther is well known in the Bible. She felt like she was living her life almost.
But this was His purpose for her. At least she can have all the snacks she wanted.
They don't have any children yet. Well, the girls are around their twenties and thirties. However, they all have kids, except her.
They been trying.
She loves her husband, Kim Seokjin; but sometimes she think he pities her. They had their share of mistakes. The thing is his work comes before her sometimes and they haven't had intimate time together as much because of it.
This is her husband's second estate. He got this house 4 months after they got married because he knew Esther needed to be with her girls. Esther was grateful because she definitely would miss her girls. Esther also knew he bought it for his brothers. To be honest, she loves this house more than her first home back at Dion.
The living room is huge with a fancy made baby blue couch with a coffee table with a crown on top of it. The queen's hoofed, off white, and flowered chair is fancy almost Victorian like. The room has a soft white with art all over the walls from many known artists. This is her husband's second estate, so he's letting her use it for the sleepover.
"Yes. I'm so excited!" Esther says sashaying in the kitchen.
Servant waves the other two servants to grab the table and place it near the back wall of the living room. In the kitchen, snacks and candy were filled on the counter. The kitchen is huge and grand. Cream seats in the kitchen for comfortability, Nice marble countertops, a fancy refrigerator, counters and tiles handmade, and a chandelier. The windows, to the pool on the opposite side of the wall, shows the brightness of the room.

"Esther, is there anything else you need at the moment?" Shara glares at Esther, waking her out of her daze.
"Oh yes, yes, yes. Did you get the ingredients Shara?"
"Yes I did. I can't believe you are going to cook for the first time."
"This is a special occasion and I want to try." She said giddily.
"We can always prepare for you so that-"
"Nope it's okay. You guys will take the day off and I'll entertain my guests."
Shara bows and smiles. "Thank you."
"Sure, I'm good for now. You can take my tea cups and put them in the bedroom. That will be all."
Shara motions the others to leave as they bowed. She grabs the tea cups from the counter then leave. Esther playfully hummed and messed with her hair.
"We about to have a sleepover! We about to have a sleepover! Aye!"

"SIS, COME HERE!"
Leah moved a little bit from her bed. She's not trying to get up right now.
"SIS!"
Nope, not moving.
As her sister, Rachel, opens the door, she says excitedly, "Get up! Dad is downstairs."
She groaned getting up from bed. "I'm coming."
My sleep is ruined.
Her sister stayed over for two days now and continually wakes her up from her sleep. Gratefully, Rachel and her husband Jacob haven't seen each other these past two days since he had to work late lately.
Leah and her sister have a complicated relationship. At one point, her husband, Jacob, was in love with Rachel instead of her. However, her sister didn't budge, as far as she knows, and she divorced him.
God doesn't like divorces.
However, two years later, he wanted to be back with her. She didn't trust it and she gave him a hard time. After forgiving him, months later, they remarried. Since then, it has been much better.
But, she would be lying if she said she fully trust him. It's growing back but slowly. She still wonder if he loves Rachel more, but he has shown more love to her. She love him, of course. He loves her.
As she heads downstairs, she peeks over and see their Dad in the living room. Her husband is at work right now and the children went to school. She has the day off and chose to prepare for the sleepover this weekend. She giggled a bit going down the steps, seeing the family pictures on the wall. They look so happy.

"Pumpkin!" Their dad says heartily.
"Hey Dad" Leah hugging her father tightly.
As they were hugging, their Dad gracefully patted her head. "I miss you both so much."
"We miss you Dad." Rachel says. Leah hugs him tighter.
She loves her Dad; but, she feels he loves her sister more than her. Dad doesn't visit her often, but she found it odd that her sister is back from traveling for a bit and he is seeing them. Leah and their dad sat down on the loveseat, while Rachel sat in the other seat across from them. The clock on top of the fireplace kept ticking and she felt odd.
"Leah...how are you? How is your family?"
"Everything is alright", she said truthfully. "Our family is better than ever."
"That's great, how is your close friend doing?" Dad slyly blurs out.
She looked at him for one moment and looked down smiling a bit. "He's okay. He has been dealing with a lot right now. But I spoke to him yesterday and he's doing much better. So I prayed for him and I know God will continue to help him."
"In His will, He will."
She nodded her head in agreement. Rachel looks at her and chuckles a bit.
"Remember when he made you that cake for your birthday last year and the top part of the cake got mushed." She laughs as she continues. "Then he going to say Happy Mushday! Dad, it was so corny!"
Dad and Leah laughed. Jeon Jungkook can be corny; but he means well. They became close around high school. He is her bestfriend and had her back in high school when people kept bullying her. Those were rough times. But although that happened, she believes it was for a reason. Now, she spreads the Word to many broken mothers and it brings her much joy. That's her job, which is working for a women's foundation.
Her sister thinks Jungkook likes her but she let that pass her mind.
"Well Jungkook is a good man. I always liked him."
"Dad, only you." Leah say embarassed.
She told the girls about Jungkook and they are waiting for them to admit their feelings. But she don't have any for him. Although he's handsome, he's her friend and she can't lose that. Right? Also, she believes God wanted her with Jacob.
"Rachel told me you are going over to see the girls." Dad says grabbing Leah's hand.
"Yeah I am. I miss them. I can't wait to see them honestly. I spoke to Esther yesterday and she's excited. She sent out a reminder text that morning. I can't wait. I am going to miss my family; but the kids' grandmother is coming over with their cousins for the weekend."
"What is Jacob doing?"
"He says he has to work late this weekend. So he is going to stay at bro's house since his house is near his job."
Dad look concerned yet irritated. "Alright well you need time to yourself anyway."
"Yeah. Also, Rachel is leaving in the morning." She pouts at Rachel.
Rachel smirks sarcastically and throws a pillow at her. "Just cause you the oldest don't mean anything. You know I love you, but I have to travel again. It's apart of being a nurse for the people."
As she is talking, Leah laughed and laid the pillow on her lap. "Soooo diplomatic. But, yeah I know. It's fine."
"Well let me get dinner ready." she says about to get up until their Dad holds her arm back.
"I love you darling and I love you Rachel". He says looking at the both of them. "I'll see you both soon." He is still holds her arm, but gets up from the couch.
They hugged Dad. Since Mom died 6 years ago, it was hard, but they have each other. Her Dad hasn't been like this with her since Mom died. Leah is not sure if it's because Leah looks like their mom or if it's the fact that Leah is not the 'prettiest' daughter in the family. She looked more like Mom, while Rachel looks like Dad. For that alone, Rachel was recognized as the most successful and beautiful in the family.
But, Leah was cherishing this moment before he acts like the usual Dad.

The Kodoku Game
In Japanese folklore, there once existed an ancient technique among alchemists for harvesting the strongest poison known to man. A poison so vicious, so horrendous, that a single drop could incapacitate an entire nation of humans, several times over. A poison so intense that a single drop could turn the tides of a war on its head. As potent as it appeared however, this poison could be harvested from the blood of a single insect alone- an insect the alchemist’s called the ‘Kodoku’. As lucrative as was attaining this poison however, the problem lied in identifying this insect- its appearance, shape and size changed from region to region and from continent to continent. Sometimes it took the appearance of a ladybug and other times a horned-beetle. In order to determine the identity of this special insect the alchemists came up with an ingenious method. They created an impregnable jar of clay out of the best sandstone they could find and placed hundreds of different insects into the same jar. The jar was made with such great mastery that it allowed no insects to escape and allowed no objects to enter. The laws of nature dictated that the insects would remain together in the jar forever. However, it turned out that as time went on, the insects’ hunger for food and power caused them to turn against each other- one insect ate another until only one remained. This sole insect contained a poison that far surpassed that of all the others and became stronger as it ate more and more insects. The alchemists at this point had succeeded in identifying the Kodoku and could extract it’s poison as long as they continued to feed it regularly. Although this folklore ends here, the actual story does not. One day, as the alchemists cheered in joy of having identified the Kodoku they so eagerly wanted, they forgot to close the lid on the very jar that was considered to be completely impregnable. This small gap was just large enough for the Kodoku inside to crawl out. Famished from not having been fed for weeks, the Kodoku ended up eating the very alchemists that nourished its growth until not even the bones remained. Yet, the Kodoku’s hunger didn’t seem to subside in the slightest. So it traveled to the next village and began eating whatever it could find there. Its poison made it unparalleled in strength and slowly but surely it began to dwindle down the population of the entire city. Yet its hunger only continued to grow. So it traveled to the next city over and ate all it could there. Very soon, the Kodoku couldn’t find any more food to eat. There was no one left to eat and no one left to spectate. So it stood there, by itself pondering what possibly was left to eat that could satiate its hunger. But there was one thing left that Kodoku realized it had never eaten. Itself.
