Rahab pulls her head back in frustration, thinking to herself why.
This phone call is so stressful for her.
Like, how can women bicker for long periods of time and never get tired? Although, women do that, Rahab never seen the point of bickering for long periods of time. Why waste energy?
Well, guess it's not that simple. Rahab have 5 friends. Their names are Esther, Leah, Hannah, Eve, and Ruth. They are one big group.
Guess where they got their names from?
Yup. The Scriptures.
The thing is they met at an event Esther's father threw for her birthday. Their parents have been long time friends. Their parents met at a building.
Of course, they had to go even when they dragged their feet in the morning. Their building was great though. They learned a lot there and didn't do what usual buildings do now. Tradition affects truth and hinders change to do truth. Anyway, they were 6-8 years old when they met each other. They bonded over all types of toys, such as Barbies, Leap Frog, Dora and much more.
Ever since then the girls were inseparable. They were all born in Virgina. They went to the same schools, except high school. Surprisingly, they rekindled their relationship in college after it drifted off in high school. Esther went to Harvard; but gratefully saw her again at a business conference they attended.
Their choice to follow God has been strong for so long and still ongoing. It's hard, now. They had fall outs, stray aways and stubbornness; but we never stayed down. They kept their faith in Jesus because He was the reason they were still alive after all the pain they had gone through together and separate.
Guess it makes sense why their names came from the Holy scriptures.
But...the thing is getting along was easier said than done sometimes. They stick by each other no matter what; however, these girls can get on Rahab's last nerves at times.

Just like now...on this phone call.
Ruth
Eve I keep telling you sin wouldn't have been an issue if you didn't do what you did with Adam. I don't know why you vouch for her-
Eve
Because don't we all make mistakes. Don't we all even make the dumbest-
Ruth
I mean yeah we do but what Eve did was pure stupidity like yo who would a thought that a woman thought it was okay to talk back to something she never seen before. Wow it beats me.
Ruth and Eve are at the point of utter frustration. This had been the topic of conversation lately for them.
The others have heard it enough now. The thing is these two are very headstrong and never back down from a fight. They must win: to be understood and heard. Sometimes it's a good thing.... but, other times you just want to stab a needle in your eye.
Eve
Then again Ruth you think it's easy to be perfect and-
Ruth
No I do not. Please don't put words in my mouth sis. I just think right and wrong can be obvious to-
Eve
It's not always easy to point out. Sometimes people think they are doing good things although it's bad. It's not always easy to point out because sometimes, depending upon observation, it might be good.
Ruth
So, what Eve did was good although it was bad? Ummm girl that doesn't make any sense. Mostly when we put God in this. If we do what He asks us to do, it won't be any problems.
Eve
Exactly duhhh, but do everyone do what He asks us to-
Ruth
No we don't all the time but that doesn't-
Eve
So I guess you ain't perfect-
Ruth
I never said I was tho Eve so-
Eve
But you act like you are Ruth. Perfect family life, perfect husband, perfect job-
Rahab
EXCUSE MEEEEE! Can y'all chill out?
Ruth
Tell Eve that not me.
Rahab
I said y'all Ruth! Y'all are bickering over something that shouldn't be a issue. Wrong is wrong and we all do wrong. We learn through disobedience.
Eve
Exactly that's all I'm saying
Ruth
Pftt..
Rahab
I'm not siding with you all the way Eve it's just facts.
Hannah
Are they done bickering yet? I left to check on my children while they was arguing.
"Hannah you handle them," Rahab thinks to herself. Hannah is the most motherly out of all of them.
Rahab
Hopefully they are. Y'all we haven't seen each other for months and finally we are meeting up again. Let it go.
Eve
I mean it ain't hard for me to let stuff go. Ruth just like to bring things up for fun and giggles.
Ruth
Not true. I can chill out. Possibly..
Ruth laughs as she hears Eve drain out her "ugh".
Rahab
Y'all both are going to behave because we don't need this again. What did God say? He said to be a peacemaker. He blesses the meek remember?
Ruth and Eve
yes mom
Both laugh while Rahab rolls her eyes.
Okay it's funny now but y'all better not start up.
Hannah
Look y'all better listen to Rahab. I will squeeze both of y'all ears and twist them if y'all act up.
Ruth
Ard moms we'll be aight. We ain't children you know.
Hannah says quietly, "y'all act like children sometimes".
Eve
Well I'm going to bed, I got to work these two days since I took off this weekend.
Rahab
Night sis love you!
Eve
Love you sis!
Hannah
Nighty love you don't forget to pray!
Eve
Okaaay! Love you Hannah!
Ruth
Night
Eve
Night Ruth love you
Eve hangs up.
Rahab
Ruth you better chill out!
Ruth
I will it's cool! I love Eve regardless! Love y'all I'm gone!
Rahab and Hannah
Love you too!
Ruth hangs up.
Hannah
Whew they something else girl.
Rahab
Definitely man. You literally have to pray and ask God for strength.
Hannah (laughs)
Yessss girl! Let's get some shut eye!
Rahab (yawns)
yeah them girls exhausted me. Night Hannah love you!
Hannah
Love youuu!
Hannah hangs up.
"Sometimes, it's just a lot," Rahab says to herself as she grips her phone and lets out a huge sigh.
She puts her phone on the coffee table. She prays, stretches and starts heading upstairs to get ready for bed as she grabs her phone. Her living room was the coziest part of the house. The walls were cream as well as the couch. The two side chairs were green and the rug was swirled, imagine cream, white and green. It's a beautiful mix actually.
"Babe," Booz, my husband, said yelling in the kitchen. "Is everything okay?"
"Yeah I'm fine babe. We'll talk in the morning." Rahab said stopping near the steps.
"Okay, I love you."
"I love you more. Goodnight!" She said while heading upstairs.
Hearing a faint of "not possible", Rahab chuckled. Booz Hall just got in the house from working at night. His job can be very strenuous at times. He is a manager for Ebay warehouse in Harrisonburg. It's 10 pm at the moment, which is usually the time he gets in. It usually takes him a 30 minute drive to get home. He always heads in the kitchen to make tea before heading upstairs to bed. They been together for 10 years and she is so blessed God gave her to him. They met around high school and since then they were tied to each other. She loves him and he loves her. He blessed her with two boys. Their family isn't perfect, but they let God rule their marriage and it's much better that way.
She truly don't deserve him. Sometimes, she can be fiesty and he knows how to handle her.
Yeah I need some shut eye for sure.

Dungeon Core Chat Room.
This is a slower-paced "experiment and dungeon building" web novel that tries to use the idea of peer-to-peer communication with Dungeon Cores instead of Dungeon to slave monster communication to break up the detailed dungeon building. Rank 1 description: (minimum met for system initialization...detailed description as follows) Each race was given a system by the gods to make up for their shortcomings and balance their place in this world. Humans: Abysmally bad at understanding and using magic unable to use more than the lowest of magic were given the "Skill System" magic in the form of premade skills with use, study, and mastery tied to experience. Elves: Intuitively understand magic and have long lives leading to vast knowledge and skill in their chosen fields. However, as a species, they have nearly zero sex drive and less than low fertility, so they were gifted the "World Tree System" with experience gained through the care of natural areas – gifting the chance of children to increase their numbers without dirty copulation. All “natural” or “wild” monsters are given an "Evolution system" designed around killing and consuming as many creatures as possible, slowly increasing strength and, at thresholds, allowing mutations to alter them multiple times. Dungeon cores are different. Unlike humans, they can see, manipulate and live off mana. Unlike Elves, they naturally crystallize after extended periods of time in high mana level areas. However, they cannot easily move or communicate and typically go insane without companionship. As a species other than the odd eccentric they are unimaginative. Brute forcing solutions without the drive to truly innovate. Thus they have been gifted with the "Dungeon Connection System" a magical version of the internet accessible by their peers that allows them to barter and sell: bait, traps, monsters, and knowledge, as well as entertain each other with “adventure streams” using exciting recorded battles and humorous reels of arrogant chumps biting off more than they can chew to often fatal effects. This is the casual story of a dungeon unluckily spawned far from potential adventurers forced to innovate beyond its peers to find its place in this world. Rank 2 Description: Justification. I've been on a dungeon core kick for months and while I love the genre – it's sparse with entries. Often the forced conflict gets repetitive and frantic solving of threats "power levels" the protagonist to god levels to progress the plot – taking away the nice steady progression fantasy I'm looking for. (Progression in this story is linked to how strong of monsters/traps/whatever he can create not his "level"...this is demonstrated by some of his newer monsters beating his older monsters not with discrete "this monster has 10 attack this one has 40") Additionally, the focus on 3rd parties with their drama takes away from the reason I’m reading dungeon core novels in the first place – I'm looking for magical crafting, experimentation and kingdom building – not defence from higher and higher levelled enemies looking to steal/destroy/control the MC. This novel is kind of just me writing the story I wish I could read. I like thinking about the experimentation that can be done in fantasy settings using 'mana' as an excuse to make up rules and try to keep them internally consistent. IE once I define how a rule works, I'm going to commit to keeping it – no breaking hard truths I've given when it's convenient, even if it backs me into a corner. Hopefully, that should make the story interesting to read even if it's SOL and less action-oriented. There will be problems to solve and a clear progression in strength (of created monsters and knowledge) however due to not wanting to force conflict for the sake of conflict the general theme will be closer to slice of life with few action sequences and no overarching goal so please keep that in mind when picking this up as the genre is not for everyone. Finally, I have a clear goal of what I want from this story (not an endless romp but a series of arcs and then a conclusion that's a couple of dozen medium-sized chapters long) I want to commit to finishing it or at least bringing it to a point of rest. I hate all the engaging stories that stop with a “hiatus” indefinitely so in the event I lose motivation I'll work to end this even if the ending becomes rushed/unsatisfying just to give a sense of closure. I’m planning on including several polls in terms of direction and taking feedback heavily into account if I get enough readers (but may choose to ignore it if it deviates too far from the direction I want to take this as in feedback like: “The MC needs a cartoonishly evil arch-enemy that wants to enslave him and force the mc to pump out magic items” or “the MC needs to make a body and learn teleportation then live with humans” will get shot down without consideration.)
