《Reylo One Shots》Birthday

I'm always forgetting my birthday. I don't know why but I always do. Maybe it's the fact that I'm a general, mom and wife. Maybe it's the fact that I'm always working. Whatever it is I always forget my birthday, and that was all about to change.
Once my son, Ben reached the age 5 he started to care about his surroundings. He no longer ran around the Millineum Falcon screaming pretending he was a Tie-fighter (I have no idea why). He sat thier silently, lost in his own thought all day.
Ben always cared for me. Even now that he is evil and goes by the name Kylo Ren I know he is still the same boy.
Anyway one day on my birthday (I didn't know it was my birthday), I woke up to Ben.
"Mommy, today is very special."
Confused, I laughed. "Ben, you are right. Today is the day that the Rebel Alliance was formed." Ben looked at me funny then started laughing.
"Mommy did you forget? It's your birthday!"
I was shocked. I forgot. My husband forgot. My co-workers forgot. My twin brother forgot (he hates his birthday, I don't know why). Out of all the people in the galaxy, my 5 year old son remembered. I could barely believe it.
"I love you so much, do you hear me?"
"Yes mommy. I love you two."
"Ben, why don't I take the day off and we can celebrate, just me and you."
Ben's eyes started to well up and he hugged me. "That would be amazing, Mommy."
I woke up. It was 2 in the morning. I could hear the sounds of machines and people shouting. I checked the date. March 5th. Today is my birthday. I walk outside my room to be greeted my a very excited Poe and Finn. "General Leia, we have found the location of Kylo Ren. If we go we can kill him and the First Order will end."

I almost fell over. Normally that would have been great. Amazing, actually. But, Ben is my son. There is still good in him. He is still that same sweet, caring boy he was when he was 5. He is just confused, hopefully. "Bring me Rey." I know Ben cares for Rey. The ship is real.
About 1,000 light years away, a man was looking out of his window. He softly whispered to himself, "Happy birthday mom. I love you."
"Sir,"a redheaded man said behind him. "We have found the location of the Rebel base. We are ready to infiltrate on your command."
"No, I sense they will come to us," he said with a small smile. "I'm ready to face my past, and make amends," he quietly said to himself. "I'm ready."

As civilization grows less dangerous so does the stress that is often associated with the awakening of the flow reduce and only the real talents remain. Please be aware that this is a first draft at best. Tag/Genre analysis: Action: A theme that will appear in the story at some point (probably 15+ chapters in) Adventure: Yes Fantasy: Yes Magic, Beasts, and other fantastical elements are totally at home here. Tragedy: Life is not always fun. For what is fun when there are no downsides. I don't know how heavily I am going to lean into this genre. I want to but don't expect too much. Loop: Yes, though I will not divulge anything else. Just be aware that there isn't nearly as much looping as in MoL for example. Female Lead: Yes, Liana is female. Dungeon: Yes, there are dungeons. Yes, they will get explored. LitRPG: Yes, read the first chapter if you want an example. Magic: most definitely because who doesn't like calling lighting down from the heavens. (Disclaimer: No actual lightning will be called down from the heavens) Mythos: There are gods. So maybe, I don't know if that is enough to qualify? Progression: yes Slice of Life: There is plot, and the story will mostly be about that plot, but there will also be downtime because there can't always be action. The first "loop" especially the first 20-30 chapters will be heavily SoL. And afterward there will be a lot less. Profanity: The ocean (see title) includes sailors and we all know how the stereotypical sailor is. Gore: Hmmm, some but I will have it be not graphic at all.
