Everyone turned their attention to Riddle who had called out to Crowley. The Heartslabyul Leader approaches the headmaster as familiar faces followed behind him,"They're..." y/n's eyes widen at this,"Mr. Rosehearts? And you all are..." Crowley acknowledges the victims behind Riddle.

"Yes. They are all the victims in the accidents." Riddle gestures to the victims and Trey hobbles forward on his crutches,"Headmaster, as the victims we have a request to ask of you. Could you please refrain from disqualifying Savanaclaw and have them play in the tournament?" he asks and y/n's eyes widens more at this as well as the Savanaclaw students' as well.

"What is this now? Are you saying... to let them off?" Crowley asks as he's caught off guard by this bizarre request,"You guys..." Ruggie whispers with wavering eyes,"No, we're not letting them off." Jamil adds with narrowed eyes and hands on his hips.

"If Savanaclaw doesn't play, then we can't get the payback we so crave." Trey reveals with a sadistic smirk,"Eh, eeehhh!?" Ruggie exclaims loudly with surprise as his ears droop a little,"Payback!?" Jack repeats with a dumbfounded expression.

"Personal squabbles involving magic are prohibited on campus." Riddle reminds them with crossed arms,"Magical shift is a well respected sport, right? However, it is also known as a field where you can have an all out magical battle... You know?" Trey smirks with squinted eyes full of mischief.

"Yeah. I won't get any closure if I don't get at least one hit on you guys." Heartslabyul A claims as he waves a fist in the air,"Time for battle! Pick up the glove!" Pomefiore A demands as he tosses his glove to the ground.

"I don't know what happened to you all, but Savanaclaw looks to be in worse shape than all of us." Jamil comments with a smirk of amusement,"Since we know who the culprit is, I think getting rid of our grudge with a game of magical shift is rather convenient." Trey says with crossed arms.

"Leona, didn't you say something before? About how during the game you can use any attack without violating the rules." Cater hums playfully as he taps his chin,"Normally it would be off with your head for using our traditions to settle personal grudges, but... This is what Trey and the others wish. I'll turn a blind eye on this one." Riddle waves a hand in the air in a dismissive manner.

"I understand how you must be feeling. However, I'm not sure whether or not Savanaclaw can be in the tournament like this." Crowley says with a hesitant tone,"Especially you, Mr. Kingscholar, can you even stand right now?" he turns to Leona, who turns to y/n.

Said girl gives him a secretive wink that made him smirk,"Hmm... Hmph, hahahaha!! Don't underestimate me, Crowley. I could take on some wounded herbivores in my sleep." he boasts with a genuine smile as he slowly gets up,"Those are big words." Jamil huffs a smirk as he crosses his arms.

"I have zero intention of apologizing. If that's what you want then force me to on the field." Leona challenges,"There you have it, Headmaster. Are you alright with this?" Trey smiles,"My goodness. I'm the fool for thinking you would have some impressive speech prepared." Crowley sighs through his nose and places his hands on his hips.

"Alright. I shall allow Savanaclaw to play in the tournament as planned. As the headmaster I'd also like to avoid having something like this be broadcast to the world on the day of the tournament." he says and y/n sweatdrops,"Adults have it rough, huh?" she murmurs and Crowley clears his throat.

"Well then, the audience is waiting for all the players to present themselves. Better get ready." he advises with a smile,"I should get going..." Leona says as he goes to take a step, but then wince in pain,"Grrr, crap, ow..." he growls with gritted teeth as Ruggie approaches him with a glare.

"... Just so you know, I haven't forgiven you or anything." he says spitefully,"Is that so?" Leona frowns with mild guilt and Ruggie's glare eases up,"But... how to put this." he scratches the side of his cheek before pointing at Leona.

"I never want to see you make a miserable face like that again. The arrogant smirk you usually have suits you much better." he then points his magical pen at Leona,"... Like this! Laugh With Me!" he casts his unique magic before forcing Leona to grin along with him.

"Oww, owow! Wah dah hell, Raffie!" Leona tells as y/n's body starts to shake at the scene in front of her,"Shishishi! Ay, awayz whated to traye dis onse oh nyou!" Ruggie admits and y/n couldn't hold her laugher in anymore,"Hahahaha!!!" she laughs out loud.

"Stahp righ nahw!" Leona demands, directing his words at both Ruggie and y/n,"I, hahaha, I can't stop laughing!! This is comedy gold! Hahaha!!" y/n laughs as she let's go of Grim in favor of wrapping her arms around her stomach.

"What are you doing?" Jack raises a brow at his seniors before smiling,"... Heh." he huffs in amusement before hearing a gasp next to him,"A miracle has happened! Jack smiled everyone!" y/n shouts with a childish grin as she points at Jack,"I'm not smiling or anything." Jack immediately denies with an embarrassed blush as he looks away from her.

Y/n let's out a quiet gasp this time,"He's also a tsundere..." she whispers so that only the wolf could hear her,"Stop." Jack plops a hand over her face before moving it to the top of her head,"You guys really came through for us. Thanks to you, I can give it my all too." he gives a smile of gratitude to everyone.

"From here on out, we're rivals. We won't pull any punches." Riddle smiles as he holds a hand out,"Wouldn't have it any other way." Jack shakes his hand with a smirk.

"Hey hey, Headmaster! We found the culprit just like you asked! You're gonna let us play in the tournament like you promised, right!?" Grim beams as he bounds up to Crowley,"Eh!? Ahh~... I did promise you that." Crowley says with a hesitant tone.

"It's most definitely impossible, we've already announced the tournament line up. What should we do about this?" he wonders nervously to himself and Grim's smile turns immediately to utter shock.

"Eeeeeehhhh!!! That's cruel! You scammer!!" both he and y/n shout before Grim glares at the older man,"I'm gonna light your lying ass on fire! Ffgnaaa~!" he threatens as he allows some fire to escape his mouth while y/n looks away while whistling innocently to herself, not even planning to stop Grim's potential assault.

"Wait, wait, wait! Pause in your light things on fire. I'll come up with an idea." Crowley panics before beginning to pace back and forth while humming to himself, a hand on his chin while doing so,"I know! How about playing in a special exhibition match? It will be like the opening act before the main event. I'm sure you'll be able to show off!" he beams at the Ramshackle Duo.

"Show off!?" Grim repeats with a mild skeptical look,"Why of course." Crowley nods,"I'm good to go as long as I can show off!" Grim finally grins before throwing his front paws in the air,"Yay~! I'm gonna get a bunch of scouts after everyone sees my greatness on TV!" he cheers and y/n smiles at his cheerfulness.

But she then realizes a slight problem,"Wait, but don't we need seven people in order to play? What about the extra team members?" she asks Crowley with crossed arms,"Extra members... Hmm, what to do... And we need a team for you to play against, maybe I can get a staff team together..." Crowley mumbles to himself.

"Ffgna!? Did you forget that too!?" Grim shouts in disbelief,"We heard everything." Ace suddenly appears behind the Ramshackle Duo with Deuce,"For extra members, we'll take those spots." Deuce grins with eagerness and y/n smiles at them.

"What are you talking about? Aren't both of you on Team Heartslabyul?" Riddle raises a brow at the two,"There's no rule that says you can't join another dorm's team." Ace chirps with a closed eye grin,"Holy shit, you're right!" y/n grins at this,"Haha! I've never thought about it before, but you're right." Trey laughs wholeheartedly.

"That sounds like fun! I wanna join y/n's team too~" Cater cooes as he throws his arms around y/n and squishes his cheek against hers,"Cater, you're one of our regular members!" Riddle reminds him and Cater pouts,"Tch." Cater clicks his tongue as y/n chuckles awkwardly while patting his head.

"Just cheering for our classmates from the side would be boring. I'll do whatever it takes to play." Ace admits as Cater reluctantly pulls himself away from y/n,"I-I'm not like him! I purely want to help out my dear friends." Deuce quickly says and y/n smiles at him,"It's okay to be a little selfish, Deuce." she reassures him and Deuce blushes in embarrassment.

"If it's an apponent you're looking for, Savanaclaw will take you on." Jack smirks as he, Ruggie and Leona stood before them,"Ffna? You guys will?" Grim asks with awe and y/n smiles,"How very thoughtful of you, Jack." she says and Jack raises a teasing brow at her,"Would you rather play against the teachers?" he questions teasingly.

"Most definitely not. That would be a humiliating defeat." y/n admits with an awkward smile,"You're actually a pretty cool guy." Ace grins at the wolf, flustering poor Jack,"D-Don't get the wrong idea. I just don't want to be indebted to you!" he says bashfully before turning to his seniors.

"You guys fine with that?" he asks, returning to his cool facade,"Uughh~ We're already about to keel over, but you want to throw in one more game? Jack, you're a demon..." Ruggie says with a weak voice,"Huuugh. This is a pain. Whatever, just come at us all at once, damn herbivores." Leona sighs loudly, but then smirks.

"Even if it's just an exhibition it's still a match. Be prepared." he warns and y/n glares back playfully,"Oh, don't worry. We will be." she says with a challenging tone,"Pew... What a relief. I was about to get another three hour long lecture from Mr. Trein." Crowley sighs with relief before turning to y/n.

"Your team has gathered four players. All you need is three more then you can play!" he beams, but Grim is anything but happy,"Hey, it's still not enough!? We even got people from another dorm to join us! Why are there only two people in our dorm!?" he says as he pulls at his ears in frustration.

"Hold up... Now that you mentioned the dorm, aren't there more people who live with us?" y/n reminds Grim with a knowing smile,"... Ah! That's right!" Grim places a tiny fist in his open paw before turning to the Heartslabyul Duo,"Residents are those who live in the dorm, right?" he asks with a hopeful grin.

"Well, yeah, that's what it boils down to." Ace says with blinking eyes,"Then there are more than just us living in Ramshackle Dorm!" Grim exclaims with excitement,"Grim's right! The three ghosts living with us told us that they used to be magical shift players ninety years ago. They can play with us since they're Ramshackle dorm members!" y/n says with a huge amount of excitement.

"Eeh? You're going to enter the ghosts as the other players?!" Crowley exclaims with utter astonishment,"They said they were pretty good back in the day, so this is great! I'll go get them!" Grim offers before running off,"Yahooo! I'm gonna be on TV~!" he screams all the way,"Bring me my gym uniform, will ya?!" y/n yells after him,"O~kay!" Grim shouts back before disappearing down the stairs.

"Does anything go... Can ghosts even play properly?" Jack rubs the back of his head with doubt,"They played pretty good when me and Grim played against them in a friendly match." y/n smiles before crossing her arms,"Though, I'm a bit worried about myself." she says with wide eyes and lips straightened in a line.

"I think it's fine? Y/n may be playing, but she can't use magic." Ace murmurs to himself,"I realized I'm going to be on TV and now I'm nervous..." Deuce starts to sweat and y/n pats his back.

"Let us head back to the stadium... But before that. Everyone, did somebody see a black rock drop somewhere around here?" Crowley suddenly asks and everyone becomes perplexed,"Eh? Black rock?" Ace titles his head,"I haven't seen anything. Sorry, sir." y/n says with a shrug of her shoulders,"Did you drop something, Headmaster?" Deuce asks.

"No..." Crowley waves them off,"If you don't see it then it's fine. Let's hurry to the coliseum." he adds as he walks off,"Y/n. Let's go." Jack gently nudges y/n's shoulder,"Right! Off to the Magift Tournament!" y/n cheers and they all ran off to the coliseum. Well, some did.

Y/n met up with Grim and the ghosts halfway there and Chub gave her, her uniform. She got changed in a vacant dressing room before joining up with her team on the field. The audience's reactions were quite a sight to behold.

"Is that a girl!?"

"NRC allowed a girl into their program?"

"Not to mention a monster as well."

"She's a real cutie though!"

"Finally! It's about time a girl kicks some male booties in Magift!"

Y/n ties her hair up with a smirk before stretching her arms a bit,"Game on." she whispers with narrowed eyes,"It's time to make you pay for before!" Ace exclaims as he twirls the disc on his pointer finger.

"Alright. Gimme all you got." Jack squats down a bit, a wild smirk spread across his face,"A-Are... the cameras already rolling?" Deuce stammers with anxiety,"Shishishi! Is now really the time to be worried about cameras?" Ruggie snickers.

"Ffnaa~!!! I'm gonna show the entire world my true power!" Grim shouts,"I am your opponent. You won't have it easy." Leona smirks in which y/n returns,"Then bring it on, Your Majesty." she mocks just as the whistle blows.

The group was keeping up well with the Savanaclaw team, but they couldn't quite get close to the goalie,"Keh hehe. I'm standing out all over the place!" Grim cheers as y/n tosses the disc to him before it's passed to Ace, just narrowly avoiding Ruggie's grabby hands.

"You don't hold back against the injured, huh!" the hyena grins as he wipes the dirt off his chin with the back of his hand,"Hey, Ruggie. Keep playing like you're exhausted for a bit." Leona whispers to his teammate,"Jack. Run them around for a while then counter when you have the chance." he adds as he glances at his junior,"Roger!!" Jack nods as he cracks his knuckles.

Jack kept chasing the group in different direction away from the goalie while Ruggie had tricked them into thinking he was utterly exhausted before he stole the disc from them.

Though y/n was quick to react and shouts to the ghosts to block him, which they successfully did and even have Deuce enough time to steal the disc back from the hyena. He even took a risky shot at the goalie and scored their group a point.

"Yeah!! Alright Deuce!!" y/n cheers as she shakes a fist in the air,"Alright! Our first goal!" Ace gives off a victory grin,"Ha. Pretty good. But, while you're celebrating we'll take that point right back." Leona playfully growls at the group as Grim had already recovered the disc and made his way back to his team.

"Fufufu! Before you can do that, get a load of my super long shot! I call it..." Grim starts to spin around fast,"The Great Grim Hurricane!" he shouts before hurling the disc into the air. Only... It didn't go the right way...

"Y/n look out!!"

It went straight towards y/n's head and next thing the poor girl knew, it was lights out for her.

"Owww, my head..." y/n whines with discomfort as she slowly sits up, a gentle palm against her bandaged head,"Ah, you're awake!" Grim says with relief as he jumps onto the girl's bed,"Grim? Where are we?" y/n asks as she studies her new surroundings.

From the looks of it, it's already dark and the room is full of other students as well,[Ah, this must be the infirmary then.] she concludes,"You passed out in the second half of our match after Grim nailed you in the head with the disc. Do you remember?" Ace explains and y/n perks up at this,"Now I do." she says before sending Grim a scolding glare,"Griiiiim..." she says lowly.

"I was trying to score with a super long shot." Grim defends himself,"Newbies shouldn't try stuff like that." Jack shakes his head at him with crossed arms,"Anyway, I'm glad you woke up. We were really worried about where you got hit since you didn't wake up for so long." Deuce says with a relieved smile.

"How long was I asleep?" y/n asks with wide blinking eyes,"You've been asleep for so long that the closing ceremony is long over and they've started dismantling the venue." Ace tells her and y/n runs her fingers through her messy knotted hair,"Damn, that is long. And it's already dark out." she murmurs.

"By the way, which dorm won?" she asks with curiosity and slight worry,"The champion was Diasomnia." Leona spoke up from her left side, also lying in bed as he sat up against the headboard,"Uughh. In the end we didn't stand a chance. The other dorms were all a mess so this year's tournament was a shit show." Ruggie groans from further down, sitting up crossed legged.

"Leona, Ruggie! Are you finally awake?" Jack asks with relief,[Jack, you're a wonderful, wonderful, guy. But... That was a totally stupid question.] y/n deadpans,"Tch... I can't believe I'm using an infirmary bed for something other than a nap." Leona frowns as he rests an arm behind his head and the other over his stomach.

"The fact that not a single person from Diasomnia is in here really ticks me off." Ruggie frowns as his ears droop, one even twitching a bit from the irritation,"You're kidding!" y/n scans the room, but true to Ruggie's words, there wasn't a single green uniform to be seen.

"I heard the rumors, but Diasomnia's dorm head is stupidly good." Ace says with amazement,"Yeah... It was something else. I wish you could've seen it, y/n." Deuce says with honesty,"Maybe next time?" y/n smiles softly.

"I totally get why no one can imagine beating him." Ace folds his hands behind his head,"Hmph. No one can win if they give up before they even try. I'm definitely going to beat Diasomnia next year. Without using underhanded tactics, only my own strength." Jack declares with fiery eyes burning with determination.

"Hmph. 'Underhanded tactics' require one's own strength, y'know?" Leona huffs and y/n pouts in his direction,"Do you even feel about this at all? Seems like someone didn't learn their lesson yet~" she says with narrowed eyes.

"Feel bad? What do I have to feel bad for? I gave my all to win this year. And I'll give it my all again next year." Leona declares with a haughty smirk,"Shishishi! That's the Leona we know." Ruggie grins,"Now I'm already worried about next year..." Jack sweatdrops.

"I'm gonna be in the tournament for real next year!" Grim claims,"We've gotta do our best to make sure we get a spot on the team next year, too." Deuce remarks,"You're right. I don't wanna stand out for being dumb like this year." Ace grins and y/n smiles briefly before looking down at her folded hands.

[Am I even gonna be here for that next year? I... I wanna be here for that.] she thought as her one hand clenches the sheet of her bed. Though she hums when she noticed a little boy with orange-red hair peeking into the room with wide cocoa doey eyes.

She immediately spots the familiar brown lion ears and little tail. The little boy's eyes lit up as his eyes lands on them, or more specifically, Leona,"Aah! Uncle! I found you!" he cheers as he ran towards Leona's bed.

"Hm? Who's this kid?" Grim asks while y/n covers her mouth as pink dusts her cheeks,[He's so adorable~!!] she thought as the little boy grips onto Leona's bedsheets,"Uncle Leona!" he beams brightly.
