《Against All Odds | Han Solo [1]》[01]

Emilia approached the bar, her head low and her hair shielding her face, as to not draw attention to herself. She had brought herself to her current location because it was the last known planet that Obi-Wan was on. Leia was trusting her and she would not fail her best friend. She approached the bar and ordered a strangely coloured drink, sipping it as she glanced around searching for the man she needed to escort. She had no ride, having paid someone to get her here, so she also searched for someone to take her and her old friend to Alderaan.
Once again Emilia's eyes wandered around the bar, only to stop on a fight that was brewing. She couldn't help but watch as someone confronted an innocent boy and someone else tried to prevent it. She gasped as the second man drew out a lightsaber and cut off the man trying to start the fight's arm. She quickly stood up and rushed towards the Obi-Wan, who she recognised.
"Obi-Wan!" She exclaimed as she got closer, making the figures walking away turn to her.
"Emilia?" He questioned, shocked to see the young girl.
"I was sent to find you, and somehow get you to Alderaan," she whispered to him, fearing who was listening in.
"Come with me, I may have found us passage." He gestured for her to follow him and she nodded, the young man also following.
"Who's this?" She questioned, raising an eyebrow at the youthful boy in front of her.
"Luke, Luke Skywalker," the young man introduced himself and she nodded.
"Well I'm Emilia Burns, it's nice to meet you." She smiled warmly at him. She then lowered her hood and made her way to the booth. As Emilia fiddled with the cloth on her cloak a man slid into the booth and introduced himself.

"Han Solo. I'm captain of the Millennium Falcon. Chewie here tells me you're looking for passage to the Alderaan system," he spoke, leaning forward. Emilia glanced up at him slightly, before going back to fiddling with her cloak, listening to what he had to say. From her short glance she could tell that he was handsome to say the least. Of course she would never tell him that and she wasn't attracted to him she just knew he was attractive.
"Yes, indeed. If it's a fast ship," Obi-Wan replied, causing an uproar from the Han Solo, who seemed very offended, Emilia noticed
"Fast ship? You've never heard of the Millennium Falcon?" Han questioned, shocked, Emilia stopped what she was doing and looked up, leaning on the table.
"Should I have?" Obi-Wan questioned, while Emilia became uninterested with the current topic of discussion. She didn't care about the ship, just that it would get her to Alderaan with Obi-Wan and Luke, quickly.
"It's the ship that made the Kessel run in less than twelve parsecs!" Han exclaimed.
"Is that meant to impress us?" Emilia asked, raising an eyebrow. Han looked at the female, shock showing on his face for half a second before he composed himself.
"I've outrun Imperial starships, not the local bulk-cruisers, mind you. I'm talking about the big Corellian ships now. She's fast enough for you, princess. What's the cargo?" He asked. Emilia smirked at him as he spoke, sitting up straighter and staring straight at Han, as if to challenge him.
"Only passengers. Myself, the boy, the girl, two droids, and no questions asked," Obi-Wan replied as Emilia kept eye contact with Han, smirking once again when he looked away and faced the older man.
"What is it? Some kind of local trouble?" Han asked, glancing between the trio.

"Let's just say we'd like to avoid any Imperial entanglements." The older man replied as Emilia became once again appeared uninterested.
"Well, that's the real trick, isn't it? And it's going to cost you something extra. Ten thousand in advance," Han told them, his voice casual, as if he had done it a thousand times, and Emilia didn't doubt that he had.
"Ten thousand? We could almost buy our own ship for that!" Luke exclaimed, his voice filled with shock, which made Emilia roll her eyes.
"Real smooth Luke," Emilia muttered as she realised that he obviously didn't know the importance of them getting to Alderaan.
"But who's going to fly it, kid! You?" Han challenged, leaning forward.
"You bet I could. I'm not such a bad pilot myself! We don't have to sit here and listen-" Luke spoke, outraged. He started to stand but the young female cut him off.
"Luke sit back down," she snapped, her voice harsh, shocking the boy as she seemed like the last person to be that aggressive.
"We haven't that much with us. But we could pay you two thousand now, plus fifteen when we reach Alderaan," Obi-Wan offered. His voice was the calmest between the three.
"Seventeen, huh!" Han paused for a few moments, making Emilia raise her eyebrows once again. "Okay. You guys got yourself a ship. We'll leave as soon as you're ready. Docking bay Ninety-four."
"Ninety-four," Obi-Wan repeated.
"Looks like somebody's beginning to take an interest in your handiwork." Han commented, gesturing with his head behind him. Emilia glanced behind her to see Stormtroopers. She shoved her hood up and followed Obi-Wan and Luke out of the bar, her head low.
"You'll have to sell your speeder," Obi-Wan informed Luke.
"That's okay. I'm never coming back to this planet again," Luke replied.
"It's overrated anyway," Emilia spoke up, shrugging.
