"i'll pay," soojin said as she starting searching for her wallet in her purse that she carried. but i was quicker. grabbing the bill, i pulled out the right amount of cash and waited until the waiter had picked it up.
"yah! you! i was going to pay."
"yeah, well i paid first," i plainly told her, showing no expression. she pouted cutely as she sunk into her seat.
secretly, i looked at her and smiled to myself. soon, the seokjin guy came back with the receipt. "thank you! enjoy the rest of your evening," he bowed politely.
soojin and i both thanked him and then left the restaurant.
"phew, i'm full," soojin groaned as she patted her tummy. "good, you'll fall asleep better," i said as i threw my hands into my pockets.
the sun was close to setting and the dark sky was coming up from the other side. i decided to take soojin home that night, so we took the bus back to our original destination we had first came from. by the time we arrived back, it was already 6:45pm.
slowly, we approached her house until we finally came to a stop at her front door. awkwardly, i just started to stand there not sure what to do. so i just blurted out things.
"uh, well, good night soojin."
she turned to look at me as we suddenly met eyes. "that's it?" she asked.
"um... im not sure what i'm suppose to do?"
she looked at me and just pouted more. i mean, does she want a handshake? you know what, i'll just give her a handshake then.
i inserted my hand out to her for a handshake and then looked back at her. but i only earned a confused look from her as she stared at my hand then at me.

"are you going in for a handshake?" she asked, laughing softly.
my cheek turned warm as i retreated my hand away in embarrassment. "what? i was not," i quickly said. i heard her giggle softly. biting my bottom lip, i stare at her one more time.
suddenly, i was taken aback when she embraced me in a quick hug. i stood there completely shock and frozen. do i hug her back? yes, idiot, hug her. you know you want to.
slowly, i brought up my arm and hugged her back. i noticed just how perfect my chin could rest on top of her head. she slowly pulled away and like it was planned out, i looked down at her, our faces just slightly inches apart.
just then, the front door open with soojin's mother standing at the doorway.
"eomma!" soojin quickly said. i moved away quickly before her mother could say another word.
"hi, ms. jung. i was just going my way, but went ahead and dropped off soojin," i said to her.
"oh, that's no worries. thank you for doing that. such a sweet boy you are," ms. jung praised happily. i couldn't help but smile at her actions.
"oh soojin, did you tell yoongi about dinner?" her mother suddenly asked.
"dinner?" i asked, confused.
"oh, right. um, well, my mother and i were wondering if you probably wanted to join us for dinner next time? or whenever you're free."
"oh... well, i'm free tomorrow," i softly said.
"perfect! just come around 6pm tomorrow," her mother smiled happily. i chuckled softly, "alright. well, goodnight ms. jung. i'll be going back home now." i turned my gaze towards soojin as i met her gentle eyes.
"goodnight soojin."
she smiles back.
"goodnight yoongi. be safe." smiling back at her, i gave a small nod and went on my home that late evening. as i walked, i couldn't help but think of the events that happened today. for once, i was happy and for a feeling i thought i would never feel again, i have never been so wrong.
but one thing's for sure. i'm glad i got share such happiness with soojin today. i smiled like an idiot to myself as i walked all the way back home.

Getting a Common Game Ability on Normal Life [Revised]
This was based on my other story, since i made a mistake somewhere in the middle and the story kinda became generic. ** Suddenly, without explanation, a transparent screen appeared in front of random people around the world. They were bestowed with cool abilities like, [Fireball], [Heal], or [Summoning]. Some used it for the greater good, others for their own benefit. However, some had meh ability Like my sis, she had [Daily Spin] that allowed her to get a random gift every-day I knew another guy that had [Spicy Breath] spewing fire from his mouth whenever he ate something spicy As for me! i had [Mini-map] as my ability! like what the hell! seriously!? Now I’m stuck with a box on the top right that blocks 1/16 of my vision… Right, i didn't forget to mention about monster right? I do not own the image, I put random images from the internet and photoshopped it And feel free to criticize me, at least point out where I make the mistake ^^ Danetello helped me making the description!
