《first love | m.yoongi》17

that sunday evening, i wore the good kind of pajamas instead of the short shorts and stuff. yoongi was coming over for dinner and i couldn't be anything but happy.
in the kitchen, my mother was cooking up wings, fish, and beef deliciously. i smiled and appeared by her side to see the wings frying in the pot of oil.
"smells great!" i said to her.
"thank you. can you do me a favor and make sure the dinner table is set up by the time your boyfriend comes?" she said as she chopped up some onions.
"correction. he's not my boyfriend," i said i grabbed some plates to place at the table.
"not yet," my mother gave a cheeky grin as i glared cutely at her.
"no, seriously. i don't think he likes me.. that way," i softly said as i grabbed some forks and spoons to place down as well.
"and what makes you say that dear?"
"yesterday when he brought me home, oh my gosh, i was so stupid. he was going in for a handshake but i legit just went in for a hug. that was so embarrassing," i said whining slightly.
"so you do like him?" my mother asked.
i leaned against the counter as i thought of the question she had asked me. "i... i guess i do," i softly said. i slowly looked up to see my mother smiling at me.
"my daughter is growing up. it's all part of the process," she began to say.
i wanted so much to tell my mother everything about him, but then again, there were things i didn't want to mention like the fact i'm being treated like trash at school. everyone treats me like trash. everyone except him.

yeah, he calls me an idiot, but... he's nice, in his own way of course.
just then, the doorbell rang and my heart had stopped for a brief moment. "he's here," i softly said.
"well, don't just stand there. go open the door for him," my mother said chuckling slightly. nervously, i ran to the door and looked through the peep-hole, seeing yoongi on the other side. okay, just act natural soojin.
inhaling and then exhaling out a breath, i unlocked the door and opened it up revealing him standing there with a dark gray hoodie with jeans that closely stuck to his legs but not completely.
"hey, come in," i said to him.
"thanks," he softly said as he entered in and took off his shoes, neatly placing them on the side.
"you're here! dinner will be ready in a few. ib the meantime, you two can just chit-chat or do what teenagers usually do when they hang out," my mother said.
"okay mom," i said embarrassingly. "sorry about her. she gets excited when there's guests invited," i said to him.
"it's fine. i don't mind," he softly said.
"well, we can go into my room if you'd like, or we could just stay here in the living room," i told him.
"i want to see your room. i never got to see it," he grinned slightly. "er, okay. just a heads up, i'm apologize for the mess," i said as i led him down the hall to my room.
"lets just hope it's not as messy as you say it is," he chuckled. i punched his arm playfully as he winced in pain in a joking matter.
opening up the door, i entered my room first and walked over to my chair and watched as yoongi observed my room. "wow, your room isn't that bad," he scoffed. "what's that suppose to mean?" i asked him.

he walked over to my bed and plopped himself on top of it. "you don't have those journals you girls call a diary, do you?" he suddenly asked. i raised an eyebrow as i looked at him.
"uh, no, i don't. what am i? 12?"
the room was silent as yoongi didn't say anything after that. i gasped and threw a small object at him, causing him to laugh slightly.
"seriously? do i look like a child to you?" i asked.
"well, by the way you're acting, yes," he chuckled. "meanie."
"i'm just kidding. when i look at you...," he began to say but then stopped.
"when you look at me?..." i asked, waiting for him to finish what he was going to say.
"when i look at you... i somewhat see me in you," he softly said. i sat silent in my chair after he said that but then spoke again. "i-is that good? or bad? i can't tell."
"i don't know. it's just... me meeting you, i don't feel alone," he said looking straight at me.
my cheeks started to turn a light shade of pink, "o-oh. i see." i awkwardly coughed and sat up straight in my chair.
"uh, weird question," i began to say.
"what's your question?" he asked. i fiddled around with my fingers as i forced the words out of my mouth.
"have you ever had a girlfriend?"

Trial of Champions
It all began with a family trip to an amusement park. How were any of us to expect being transported from Earth to participate in some "Trial of Champions," whatever that was supposed to be? Given only an hour to choose the Classes that would come to define our strengths, we were almost immediately torn away from one another and thrust into a deadly game of survival. It wasn't all bad, though, as terrifying as it could be from time to time. The supernatural and magical powers of the Classes were like something out of an RPG, complete with leveling up by killing monsters and completing so-called "Sub-Trials." And despite the juicy Experience to be gained from killing other Champion Contestants, not all of the participants were bloodthirsty murderers; some could be allied with, or even befriended. Even if it seemed like everyone who had been chosen for this Trial, no matter what universe they came from, was at least a little bit crazy. I would survive this till the end, and I'd make sure that my siblings and parents did as well, no matter how many times we were separated from one another. No matter how long it took. No matter what I had to do. --- A first-person litRPG incorporating classes inspired by D&D and other sources. If you like blue boxes but don't need to have huge lists of numbers to scratch your itch, you should be satisfied on that front. Each chapter is, in my word processing document, seven pages long (approximately 3300-3900 words). The Traumatizing Content warning is there because of discussions of certain topics. Nothing that I think deserves the warning actually happens in the story.
