《The Beginning of the Age of Heroes》Chapter 20

Over the past six months the heroes had been training hard and learning a lot more than they had with their teachers on the island. Today Ras had called all seven of them into the throne room for some reason and they were trying to figure out why this was, because they knew that they had done nothing wrong to be punished for, so this meant that they would probably be given some sort of honor.
The team all bowed as they were now in front of Ras as he was sitting on his throne. "You can rise. You have all done well with your training and I think it is time for you to go on your first mission. All seven of you will be going and this mission is one that could take a while with all of the scouting and everything that must be done to make sure that nothing goes wrong." Ras said.
"Thank you, Master. We will not fail you." The Arrow said.
"I know you won't. You are the best trained team that I have here. Now you must make your way to Hong Kong. There is a group there called the Triad who are trying to get their hands on a biological weapon. You are to get this weapon and bring it back to me. There will be an obstacle though. An American agency called ARGUS has been contracted by a corrupt General and they are after this weapon as well. Your mission is to get this weapon while wiping out as much as the Triad as possible. You will also kill the leader of ARGUS and the corrupt General." Ras said.
"It will be done, Master." Black Canary said as they all bowed again and then rose and left to get ready for their first mission.

. . .
After they had packed and were now on horses making their way to the nearest airport so that they could get to Hong Kong, they finally realized that they were on their first of many mission that they would work on together as part of the League of Assassins and also once they returned back to Starling City once they were released from the League.
"Do you realize that this is the first of many missions that we are going to work on together. By the time we leave the League, we should be like a well oiled machine." White Canary said.
"Yes we will. I am glad that we are progressing nicely. I mean who knows how long this mission could last. We could be gone for months." the Flash said.
"So, who is everyone going to be known as while we are in Hong Kong? My passport says that I am Melissa Benoist." Supergirl said.
"Mine says Grant Gustin." the Flash said.
"Mine says Willa Holland." Artemis said.
"Mine says Caity Lotz." White Canary said.
"Mine says Katie Cassidy." Black Canary said.
"Mine says Stephen Amell." Arrow said.
"Mine says Celina Jade." Athena said.
"Ok, so we need to start using these names so that we can be used to them when we finally reach Hong Kong. We don't want to make anyone suspicious." Arrow said.
"That makes since Stephen. So, what are we going to do about White Canary and myself. We have the same first name." Black Canary said.
"We can call White Canary, Caity, and we can call you by a nickname. Something like KC maybe." the Flash said.
"Works for me. Thanks Grant." White Canary said.
"No problem." the Flash said.

The team continued their ride to the nearest airport in silence as they all continued to think of how big of an opportunity this was for them. They knew that this was the beginning of something that would be happening with them for years to come and they couldn't wait for this to be what they were doing in their home city.
. . .
After a couple of hours the team finally made it to the airport and were now buying tickets so that they could make their way to Hong Kong for their first official outing as a team. They all then went and sat down and waited patiently for their plane to start boarding.
"So Willa, what are you looking forward to the most in Hong Kong?" KC asked.
"Other than the real reason that we are going there, I am looking forward to seeing some of the sights. I know that is not why we are there, but I know that it will be possible to see some things while we are there and scouting on these guys that we will be following." Willa said.
"That sounds like a good plan. I am looking forward to that as well." Melissa said.
"Do you mind if I join you?" Grant asked.
"You know you don't ever have to ask me that. You are always welcome with me." Melissa said.
"Just wanted to make sure." Grant said.
"So, it should be night by the time we get to Hong Kong. According to the information that we have, the first meeting that we need to be at won't be until tomorrow. That means that we need to rest as much as we can once we get there. I have a feeling that things are going to be very busy while we are there, so take the time that you need to rest while you have the chance." Stephen said.
"I plan on it. So, how are we going to do sleeping situations? What I mean is, who is going to take Willa?" KC asked.
"I think I am grown up enough to have my own room here. If it makes you feel any better, I will get an adjoining room with you and Stephen." Willa said.
"I think it is for the best if you are going to be staying alone." Stephen said and Willa nodded knowing that this was the best that she was going to get.
"I mean, you know I don't want to mess with any of your "private time." Willa said and all of the other couples couldn't help but laugh at that, knowing that it was bound to happen sometime while they were on this mission.
"No, we wouldn't want that." Stephen said with a smile at his little sister.
"Looks like it is time to board our plane. Let's get going, we don't want to be the last ones on." Caity said as she led the way to the plane that would take them to Hong Kong for their first of many missions together.

My Life is Not a Manga, or maybe...
Xavier had a happy, humdrum life: normal friendships, a normal girlfriend, a somewhat oddball family. Until, that is, he literally stumbled through the fourth wall and discovered he was the protagonist of a manga. Now he's scrambling to maintain any semblance of control over his own life in the face of something he never imagined he would need to contend with: the power of the Genre. Hello, E.O. Tenkey here; thank you for your interest in "Not A Manga"! This was my first serial novel, and I hope you enjoy Xavier's predicament! Familiarity with manga not required (though it can't hurt)! I look forward to exploring the bounds of the Genre with you. (First volume is rated PG-13 for comic mayhem and light profanity—these are high school students, after all. Second volume is rated PG-13 to R for some violence and similar levels of profanity. Tags may or may not contain spoilers.)
8 220Rise of the Midnight King
The Midnight Queen has sat at the pinacle of the cultivation world for untold eons unable to take the final half-step into becoming a true god. After a divination, it's revealed to her what she must do to obtain true godhood, raise up and dual cultivate with a particular mortal from the lowest of the low realms. However, little does she know her future man is the reincarnation of a famous pornstar, Brady "The Big D" Rockwell, with his own ideas on how the cultivation world ought to be. With the help of her former whore apprentice, the Midnight Queen is in for the greatest challenge of her life, turning the Big D into the strongest immortal of all time.
8 231The Journey of a Lazy Magician
As the state of the world grew dangerous everyday as the Demon Lord whom have the capability to destroy the world, will be un-sealed soon and the attacks of the demon forces' became more frequent, what better time it would be to be held as one of the richest person in the world. Only a sane person with the right mind would do that. Having to acquire something before an inevitable and hopeless end is the best option rather than trying to find the solution for the end of the world. I mean, the device used to re-seal the Demon Lord is gone. It could be under the ocean for all we know so why waste you're energy on stupid things like that? Of course, why would I waste my energy to do my incredibly hard goal when I can have my fellow party members to do it. Saving their "lives" from lesser goblins using a stick as a weapon usually does the trick to get someone on board so I think I'm pretty much set. *The cover photo is mine :3* AN: And thus, a schedule has been formed! I would be posting new chapter ever 2-3 days and if i haven't posted in this time, then something happened to me personally that makes me unable to post chapters in the scheduled time. The reason will mostly be school or i just have a lot of things scheduled in a certain day, etc. Sorry if it did happen as i am a very busy senior high student and could only write in his free time. Anyway, that is all and have a good day/night, the person who is reading this!
