Shaheer's POV

"Honey... Its time. Get up." I whispered into her ears as the morning beauty was still snoring away. It was Eri's mom's birthday and we were going to their house that evening. And it was when we decided to tell all the family members. I brushed her hair from her face so that I get a clear view. Her eyes flickered open slowly, taking time to adjust to the light. Her lips curved up in a sleepy smile.

"Morning Husband! " she said in her husky morning voice.

"You remember we have to go to supermarket to go buy a gift for your mother." she nodded. Obviously she would never forget her mother's birthday. "Get Ready fast. We have to go to mall to buy a gift."

We were in the car as we drove towards her house. We were excited about the evening and were really eager to know their reactions. We had bought some baby cloth with 'Hello Grandparents' scribbled on it. Eri thought it would be a great way to tell everyone and it would also be the cutest gift to to-be grandmother.

We reached her house and were welcomed by everyone. Both of our families were already seated in the living room. As usual we were late considering the amount of time she takes to get ready. We joined the celebrations and had fun till it was time for the gifts. We eagerly waited for our turn. I nervous about how the families would react and I could tell even Eri is that nervous too.

When it was our gift that was about to open, I could feel a pit form in my stomach. I grew anxious. You know how anxious you feel when you are about to get your results of exams... Thats exactly how I felt. The gift wrapper was torn now and lid of the box opened as the balloons inside it flew out. Everyone gasped at the really creative gift and were getting curious what exactly was in the box.

Both Ralph and lavina peeped into the the box and an expression of surprise and joy filled their faces. They turned to us, seeking confirmation. Eri, who was now almost in tears of joy, nodded her head. We never had greater smiles before. She came near us and hugged Eri.

"Oh My God! I can't believe my little baby is having a baby." Sheppard as she cupped Eri's face in her hands. Everyone bursted into cheers of congratulations and couldn't get happier. God knew we needed this happiness. This baby. Our baby.
