So, guys, this is the series/season finale of this story/episode thing I have been doing. Yes, the last one! I know, I can't believe it either! After a year, I am done! O.O Well, thanks for everything y'all have done for me and I hope you like the ending. This story is dedicated to all of you, my lovely readers, so keep being awesome! :)

The rain barreled down on the Titans, salty pins pricking on the skin. It was as if the world was crying along with them because of what they lost. The three male Titans continued to huddle together, trying not to cry but continuing to look at the body. All wanted to look away but they couldn’t. The shock was overwhelming to all. Raven, who was circling the body slowly, abruptly stopped, eyes turning back to their deep blue color. She silently floated over to the devastated men and dropped down beside them.

“She is not dead.” She whispered as the men continued to shiver in the rain. Robin sniffed sharply and wiped away a stray tear on his dirty face that was lined with the path of crying.

“What did you say?” Robin asked quietly, unable to believe Raven.

“I said, Starfire is not dead. I can still sense her heart moving, breathing, living. She is still alive. But I do not know for how much longer.” Raven commented, looking at him square in the eye.

“Starfire is alive?” Robin retorted, a smile spreading across his now determined face. He ran over to Starfire’s body and cradled her head in his lap. His eyes flashed over to a shocked Cyborg and Beast Boy, Raven explaining to them how this was possible.

“Guys! We need to get her to a hospital! Raven says she doesn’t have long so we need to move NOW!” Robin yelled and he gingerly picked up Starfire in his arms.

“Put her in the T-Car! That’ll be the fastest way to the hospital.” Cyborg instructed as he grabbed his keys, unlocking the car from a distance. He and the others raced to the T-Car, all hearts slamming into chests. Sweat beading onto Robin’s brow as he carefully placed Starfire in the back seat, grimacing as he felt her skin turning cold. The Titans piled into the car, Cyborg turned the key and the systems began booting up. Cyborg was about to slam on the accelerator when Beast Boy gasped.

“Wait!” Beast Boy cried. The others faced him with anger flashing in their eyes, they were going to hurt him if this wasn’t important. “This is important! Starfire isn’t human, she is Tamaranian! Where in the world are we going to find a hospital who can treat her kind?” Robin smacked his head with his palm and Raven nodded.

“He is right,” Cyborg agreed with a solemn tone. “And I don’t know of any alien hospitals around here unless we go to the Watchtower. And she won’t make it by the time we can get there.” Robin bit his lip in frustration.

“There has to be something!” He thought. A couple of seconds passed and the synapses sent a thought to Robin’s brain that might just work.

“What about Fixit?” He blurted, looking wildly at each of the Titans, trying to avoid gazing at Starfire. Cyborg shook his head.

“Fixit only can fix cyborgs or robots, not a purely organic lifeform.” He informed with a sigh, drumming his thumbs on the wheel impatiently.

“We are running out of time.” Raven reminded.

“Look,” Robin began and turned to Cyborg. “I know his specialty is that kind of stuff but he is an alien. And his is a doctor of sorts. And because of his extensive brain capacity, he would have to know about Tamaranian biology.” Cyborg hesitated but Robin persisted. “He is our only hope Cy, he is Star’s only chance to live.” Cyborg sighed but nodded.

“I’ll give him a call.”

“You are in luck.” Fixit began and grabbed a book from the shelf in his now lit underground home. “This week, with my upgraded storage capacity, I have been studying the numerous types of aliens in our galaxy and their anatomy. Tamaraneans happened to be one of them.” Fixit moved down the stairs to the bedside of the still Starfire, book opened.

“Can you help her?” Robin asked quickly, holding onto Starfire’s ever colder hand.

“I believe so.”

Fixit looked over Starfire, taking her pulse and examining her skin. He hooked her up to an IV machine with a heart rate monitor beeping softly. He pressed on her hand, arm, and shins and came up with a conclusion.

“She has been hit with something very lethal to her kind, a chemical called bromolacticacidadid. That is why her skin is reacting the way it is and why her pulse is slowing.” Fixit turned to face the anxious Robin. “You were very fortunate she pushed you out of the way, or else you would be dead right now. It is lethal to Tamaraneans but it results in automatic destruction for humans.”

Robin nodded, criticizing himself for making such a stupid mistake.

“This is just stage one in the condition, but it will not be much longer before she progresses to the other stages. This chemical travels fairly fast.” Fixit explained.

“Is there a cure?” Raven spoke up, floating closer to Starfire.

Fixit began flipping through the pages of his book again. He fingered through the information until he laid his eyes upon what he needed.

“There is one antidote. But it is very rare and only found on one place in the galaxy.” He said and Robin’s eyes hardened.

“Where?” Robin asked, determination filling his emotions.

“On Tamaran, of course.”

The Titans sighed, travelling to Tamaran would take a good while. A good while that Starfire might not have.

“I’ll go.” Robin said. “Alone.”

“Dude, you’ll need help-” Beast Boy was cut off by the silence of Robin’s hand.

“No, I need to do this. And if anything happens to me, I still need you guys to try and help Star.”

“But-”

“Look, she saved me. Now I need to save her.”

Robin climbed aboard the spaceship that was routed for a direct course to Tamaran, the Titans looking at him in the docking bay.

“Look, be careful out there alright? The ship is on autopilot so you shouldn’t have to lift a finger. Just get the antidote and get out.” Cyborg told him and Robin nodded.

“Will do, see you when I get back.” Robin waved goodbye and sat down in the pilot seat, heading to the planet that could very well save him or kill him.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Entering Tamaranian orbit now.” The T-Ship reported with a robotic voice and Robin unbuckled his seatbelt as the ship landed. He couldn’t wait to see Galfore and explain to him the situation. He lept out of the cockpit, but just as his feet hit the ground, guards came up out of nowhere. All circling Robin, spears point directly at his face and heart.
“I knew this place was going to be the death of me.” He thought and he raised his hands up as a gesture of peace.
“You are trespassing on the royal property of the planet Tamaran!” A guard barked. “You shall now be annihilated for your wrongdoings.”
“Woah, woah, woah! I need help!” Robin objected and felt queasy as the guards inched closer.
“You should have contacted.” The guard growled back when a strong voice rang out behind them.
“STOP!” The large figure made his way through the cluster of guards, revealing himself to be Emperor Galfore. All the guards dropped to a knee and repeated “All hail Emperor Galfore!”
“Galfore? I-I mean Emperor Galfore-” Robin then abruptly took a knee as well, angered that he forgot Galfore was now Emperor. Galfore chuckled and put a hand on Robin’s back.
“Robin, you do not have to do that. Please, stand up. It is good to see how again.” He smiled and helped Robin to stand again.
“You too Galfore, I just wish on better circumstances.” Robin said. Galfore rose a brow and asked “What do you mean? Is my little bumgorf here?”
“That’s what I wanted to talk to you about, but its best that we find a place to talk. It may be a while.” Robin gravely remarked and an anxious looking Galfore.
“Come, we shall speak in the palace.” Galfore told him and the group began to trek back to the place Starfire’s childhood home.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

“She is WHAT?!?!” Galfore screamed, tears brimming his eyelids. “You are telling me my little bumgorf was hit with bromolacticacidadid and she is dying?!” Robin nodded his solemnly and Galfore put his head in his hands, the processing was just too much for his emotions.

“That is why I am here, Galfore, I wanted to see if you had the antidote Fixit spoke about so we can cure her. This is all my fault, I- I couldn’t bear to live without her, especially since I would be responsible-”

“Stop!” Galfore held up a hand to silence the babbling Robin. “It was not your fault! Stop blaming yourself, you cannot do that when you had nothing to do with the chemical that is killing her! You must be strong Robin, strong for yourself, strong for Tamaran’s future, strong for her.” Robin sighed.

“I guess.”

“Good.” Galfore stated and ran a hand through his locks of tiger colored hair. “We did have an antidote for Tamaraneans affected with bromolacticacidadid but-”

“BUT? There can’t be any but-” Robin sputtered but Galfore cut him off.

“BUT during the battle a couple of years ago that Koriand’r had with Komand'r, Komand'r stole the antidote I guess as a collateral and Tamaran has never seen it sense.”

Robin groaned and leaned his head back on the strange sofa that he was sitting on.

“So, I guess I need to find Blackfire… where is she?” Robin asked.

“Penitentiary Detention #5 Cell #786.” Galfore handed him a slip of paper with foreign writing on it as he said this.

“What is this?” Robin wondered out loud, scrutinizing the paper.

“That is a pass that will allow you to talk with her.” Galfore explained and gave Robin’s hands a squeeze.

“Please, please help Koriand’r. Do not let her die.” Galfore pleaded. Robin’s eyes hardened with determination.

“I will, I promise.”

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“State your name and business.” The penitentiary guard asked Robin, his voice clipped yet tired.
“Robin. And I am here to see prisoner #4579, name Komand'r.” Robin said and the guard just stared at him through his bulletproof box of a window.
“Robin? Is that an alias?”
Robin nodded and the guard shook his head.
“Sorry, but I need a real name, son.” The guard told him and Robin gritted his teeth.
“Sorry," Robin scanned the box for his name and found Leo written on his nametag. “Leo, but I am not giving you my real name.” Robin responded, fire in his voice. Leo narrowed his eyes at the young man in front of him.
“Well then, sorry, you ain’t getting in!” He yelled. Robin sighed, picturing Starfire on her death bed.
“Fine! FINE! It’s Dick Grayson, alright?” Robin shouted back and groaned, if Bruce was here, he would kill him. Leo smiled in victory.
“Nice name. Anyway, just sign here and we will led you to prisoner #4579.” He told Robin and handed him a clipboard with a pen.
“Such tight security for a intergalactic prison.” He thought and grumbled as he scribbled his signature on the paper. He handed it back to the smug guard and the door beeped, opening inside the prison. Leo moved from behind his desk to stand next to Robin inside the prison’s lobby.
“Follow me.” Leo commanded and Robin huffed but followed him through the prison’s labyrinth. After the first couple of twists, elevators, and corners, Robin forgot where in the world he was in the prison. Leo continued on, motioning Robin to hurry up. Finally, after a flight stairs, the pair ended up in front of a metallic door. Leo rapped his fists lightly against the door, some sort of code Robin guessed. The slit at the top half of the slid to the side, a pair of yellow eyes stared back. After a second, the slit slid closed and the sounds of locks filled the space around them. The door opened revealing an orange alien with prison guard getup. His demeanor was hard, cold, like all guards seemed to be.
“Come in.” The guard whispered, icicles could be felt in his voice. Robin gave Leo a quick glance as Leo nodded, walking into the room. Robin sighed and followed, the guard closing the other door behind him. Robin looked around at the cramped room that he was in. Gray, dark, metal, and another door in front of him, big, metallic, ominous.
“Man, Blackfire is in tight security… is she that powerful?”
The guards around him fitled with locks, keys, button and other things, ready for anything.
“Are you sure about this?” The guard that opened the door to Robin asked him and Robin nodded surely, he needed to speed things up, and fast.
“Okay.” The guard murmured, unambiguously referring to Robin’s choice as a mistake. He unlocked the door in front of him and opened it a crack before stopping and looking straight into Robin’s soul.
“You only have a few minutes, hero or not. Got it?” He growled. Robin nodded, unphased by his rudeness. The guard opened the door all the way and Robin slipped inside, barely missing the guard slamming the thick door behind him. Robin muttered some insult as turned to see in an cell, encompassed in an orange protective field was in front of him. And then his eyes caught infamous Blackfire, sitting on her bed, reading a magazine. Robin raised a brow, she was so calm, so nonchalant, was she always this calm when visitors came? The ebony haired, seductive woman came striding to the edge of her cage and smirked smugly.
“Robin,” She said, venom oozing from her voice. “What a surprise, what are you doing here?”
“Blackfire.” Robin responded, his voice cold, his expression hard. “I have a feeling you know what I am here for.” She giggled and fluttered her lashes.
“Oh, humor me, Robin, dearest.” Blackfire spat back and Robin cleared his throat.
“Don’t call me that, and don’t think I am stupid. I know you know that your sister is dying!” Robin shouted and Blackfire raised a brow.
“Well, dearie, I truly had no idea, what did she do? Something stupid probably…” Blackfire sighed.
“She saved my life!” Robin yelled back, face turning scarlet. Blackfire pursed her lips and flicked her dark hair behind her.
“Like I said, something stupid…” Blackfire muttered, her royal eyes trying to captivate.
“Look,” Robin huffed, “She was hit with some chemical, bromolacticacidadid, or something like that.” Blackfire’s smothered a laugh.
“Bromolacticacidadid?” She scoffed. “I am surprised sister dear isn’t dead yet… that thing is totally lethal to Tameranians, you might as well give up.” She waved her hand in the air softly. “She had a good run… but it was coming to her.” It took all the self control the Boy Wonder had to not punch Blackfire then and there.
“I don’t think you understand, YOUR OWN SISTER IS ABOUT TO DIE!” Robin exploded and Blackfire, took a step back and scowled.
“And I don’t think you understand, I DON’T CARE!” Blackfire yelled back. “Send her a flower or something from me at her funeral… I don’t care.” An uncomfortable silence fell between the two, tension tangible in the air. Robin paced the room as Blackfire sat on the edge of her cell, criss cross, watching him.
I”I know you have the antidote.” Robin stated abruptly and Blackfire looked up.
“So what if I do,” Blackfire disclosed in a whisper. “It doesn’t even matter…”
“Yes, yes, it does.” Robin fired back. “She is still alive, she still has a chance. Please give me the antidote and I will leave.”
“And if I don’t give you the antidote, then what are you gonna do? I am trapped in this cell anyway, you really can’t do much worse.” Blackfire hissed.
“You are right, I can’t. But I will tell you this, if she dies, it is on your hands. All Starfire has ever wanted was a relationship with you, a good one. But you are just too jealous of her to see that! She is your sister, please, at least let her live another day.” Robin stated and Blackfire huffed. She stood up and plopped down on her bed, grabbing her magazine.
“I don’t even have it.” Blackfire said, not looking up from her magazine. Those guards took it away from me when I got here.” She flipped a page and continued browsing.
“Where is it now?” Robin inquired and Blackfire shrugged.
“Probably sold or something, but that is just the original. Maybe this is what you are looking for.” Blackfire held up a serum bottle, the antidote for bromolacticacidadid.
“What? Y- you got another one? How-?” Robin stuttered, Blackfire held up a finger.
“I have my ways, don’t question me.” She threatened. “You can have it, if you do something for me.” Robin rolled his eyes and sighed.
“Can’t you just be a good person and give me the antidote so I can save your sister?” Robin mused out loud as Blackfire chuckled dryly.
“And where is the fun in that, dear?” She asked and Robin moved to her cell to face her.
“Alright, what do you want?” He questioned.
“Easy,” She quipped. “To get out of this place.” Robin just stared at her.
“You’ve. Got. To. Be. Joking.” Robin replied. Blackfire shook her head.
“No! This place is a mess, I hate it here! I need to get out of this prison!” Blackfire screeched, slamming her fists against the walls. Robin took a step back, surprised from her change in demeanor.
“Why? So, you can go and take over other planets and create havoc all across the galaxy?” Robin challenged. Blackfire had tears rolling down her eyes as she shuffled over to the edge of her prison, staring into Robin’s eyes.
“Look, I know I have done some bad things, but I can’t stay in her anymore. I promise, I won’t come to Earth or go back to Tamaran. If I get out of here, I promise, I won’t do anything that bad like take over a planet or anything. Just please,” Her voice cracked during her plea and she looked at the floor in shame. Robin groaned and rubbed his hand against his thigh.
“Okay, even if I did want to get you out of here, how do you expect the guards to let you go?” Robin asked, arms now crossed defensively.
“I don’t know,” She muttered. “Lie or something.”
“I’m not lying.” Robin quickly rebuttled coldly. Blackfire sniffed but still rolled her eyes.
“Well then tell them the truth, Mr. Goody Two Shoes.” Blackfire murmured and flicked a piece of hair behind her back.
“No,” Robin muttered, rubbing his chin in thought. “That won’t convince them either…” Then he shook his head, whispering intelligible words under his breath.
“Is there any other way to get you out of here without stupid means? Parole? Escorts? Anything?” He asked her and she tilted her head in thought, mouth curved.
“Well, I can pay a fine…”
“Good Lord…”
Robin grimaced but said “How much?” Blackfire flashed her teeth in a wicked manner.
“I think the last they told me was $500,000.” She answered with a shrug, Robin’s blood pressure spiked. He was on the last straw with this woman...
