There was a tense silence in the room, one that could be cut with a knife. But the tension didn't only appear between one cocky red hair and one sultry silver haired, but it seemed like the tension was splayed across the room, somehow intertwining all seven.
"First of all, I thought I made it more than clear that bringing random alien girls on the ship was out of question," Namjoon started, and instantly, a scoff left Jungkook's lips.
"Of course. Blame it all on me," Jungkook laughed sarcastically, and Taehyung's eyebrow twitched, but before he could speak, Namjoon did.
"We're blaming it on you because it's your goddamn fault. You brought not one, but two girls onto this ship? What did we tell you to do last time?" Namjoon snapped, and Jungkook glared at him.
"And on top of that, you left without telling Taehyung anything. He was worried sick looking for you-"
"Oh boo hoo, he'll get over it." Jungkook snapped, and Taehyung tensed his shoulders, looking at Jungkook, and then let out a small sigh.
"Y'know, Jungkook- I wish, instead of pretending like you're into me to hurt me or something, you would've just told me what I said bothered you that much. I said sorry a hundred times, and I understand if you're still mad- but being petty and taking revenge? C'mon, I don't think this is the time or place for that." Taehyung spoke articulately, and Jungkook's vein grew in seize because Taehyung looked so fucking calm.
"But this is the time and place to say none of you want to be friends with me, imply I'm a slut, call me a stupid fuckboy, all while talking behind my back to Jimin??" Jungkook snapped, and instantly all the boys looked at Taehyung.
"Taehyung.." Jin trailed, and Taehyung sighed. "I'm sorry, I-I was having a rough day. And I took it out on Jungkook."
"Those words were way too thought out for them to just be something you spewed out in anger. You got comfortable enough around all of us to show everyone how much of a dickhead you are." Jungkook snapped, and Taehyung looked away for a split second to regain his composure, and then looked back at Jungkook.
"I understand if you feel that way. You have all the right to be angry at me, I would be too. But I honestly didn't mean a word I said. I hope you know that." Taehyung said in his low voice, and Jungkook rolled his eyes, fingers digging into his palm.
"I mean.. is he wrong?" A voice said, and Jungkook and Taehyung turned to see Yoongi, slouched against the wall.
"Fucking two random girls just to piss Taehyung off sounds like stupid fuckboy behaviour to me."
Jungkook paused, eyebrows furrowing. Jimin choked a bit on his coffee, turning around quickly to cough, and Hoseok sighed. "Yoongi.."
"I- I only did that because Taehyung- he said all that mean shit to me and none of you are saying anything to him! How the fuck is this my fault??" Jungkook snapped, and Jin hummed.
"Okay, though what Kook did was bad- Tae, you shouldn't have said all that. Especially knowing Jungkook's younger-"
"That has nothing to do with anything! Stop fucking babying me I'm a grown ass adult." Jungkook snapped at Jin, who was literally defending him.
Jin paused, and then rolled his eyes. "Yeah, I don't give enough of a shit about this. I'm hungry, bye." Jin said, and then walked out of the control room, making sure his loud footsteps were heard.

"You two should talk it out. Please. The last thing we need, stuck on this forsaken spaceship, is tension and two people not talking. Just be mature, please." Namjoon said, and then gave a look to the rest of the boys, Hoseok, Yoongi, and Jimin, who nodded and followed him out.
Once they left, there was a silence in the room, with Jungkook looking at Taehyung angrily, and Taehyung looking away, trying to muster up something to say.
"So.. um- all that stuff, you were acting? Like- pretending to be into me by acting cute and stuff? Because.. I didn't think you were. And I kind of wish you didn't.. 'cause I-" Taehyung started, trying to uphold confidence to speak up.
Jungkook rolled his eyes. "Yeah, I was fucking pretending. I'm not gay," Jungkook snapped, and Taehyung nodded quickly, looking away.
"Okay.. It's your choice, after all. I never meant to, like, make you uncomfortable, or come across as forcefully turn you gay or something-"
"You did make me uncomfortable," Jungkook snapped, looking at him angrily. "To say I'd get in bed with anyone if they were friends with me- do you know how that makes me feel? That's so fucking backwards of you to even think. It makes me feel real fucking good about myself, so thanks."
Taehyung gulped. "I-I'm sorry, Jungkook. I shouldn't be talking about you like that, let alone anyone. You can sleep around with whoever you want as much as you want, that's no one's place to judge. I just- I-I wish you would've talked to me about it. Instead of-"
"Shut up, Taehyung. Stop acting all high and mighty. I get it. You're older. You're smart. That gives you some kind of superiority complex over me, I fucking get it." Jungkook snapped, and Taehyung frowned.
"What? No, Kook- where is this coming from? I-"
"You can apologize all you want, but don't expect me to say sorry. This is all your fault, you caused this whole thing, and if it wasn't for you being such a dick in the first place, none of this would've happened." Jungkook said sharply, and Taehyung looked down, sighing.
"I know-"
"Stop speaking over me." Jungkook growled, and Taehyung looked up at him, saw the anger in his eyes. "You're going to tell the other guys to stop being such assholes to me because they think they're better than me for some fucking reason. And you- you need to get off my dick and leave me alone."
Taehyung nodded slowly. "Okay.. I-I'll leave you alone. But I think you should talk to them yourself, it won't look good coming from me-"
"Fine. I'll tell them myself. I'll tell them what they're thinking. That they're clearly jealous that I can get so many girls in the first place and they're forced to fuck each other out of desperation," Jungkook snapped, and then turned around and walking out of the room.
Taehyung frowned. "Jungkook that's not what I-" Taehyung started, and then sighed to himself and rushed out, following him. "Jungkook that's not what I meant. Don't say that, it'll make things worse-"
"I don't care! Stop talking to me, I told you to leave me alone." Jungkook snapped, and Taehyung finally took a deep breath.
"Jungkook-"
"If you're that fucking needy then go sit on Jimin's dick- but I don't want you on-" Jungkook started, and Taehyung closed his eyes for a second, and then opened them, and Jungkook noticed they turned a darker grey.
"That's it." Taehyung snapped, and grabbed Jungkook and pulled him right towards him. "I've had enough. If you think you can talk to anyone like that, you're out of your mind." Taehyung growled lowly, and Jungkook tried pulling his arm away, but his grip was like iron.

"Taehyung let go of me-"
"Shut up." Taehyung spoke loudly, and Jungkook stopped at the raise of his voice. "You clearly are affected by whatever I said earlier. So you will sit down and talk to me like a mature human, do it?" Taehyung snapped, and Jungkook pulled at his arm, looking frantically at the grip on his arm.
"Tae please-"
"I said did you get it?" Taehyung snapped again, tightening his grip on his arm. The boys came out of the dining room, looking confused.
"What's going on?" Namjoon asked, and Taehyung turned to face him, and then back to Jungkook, and saw tears in Jungkook's eyes.
"T-Tae- l-let go," Jungkook cried, and then Taehyung left his arm, and Jungkook clutched it tightly, stumbling back.
Jin rushed over to Jungkook, who's forearm, which Taehyung was gripping, was bruising.. silver. "Tae, what the fuck is happening?" Jin asked, never seen something like this before.
Everyone looked at Taehyung was was stood there shocked, and then at Jungkook, who still had tears in his eyes, clutching his arm, looking in pain. Jin grabbed his arm. "Come with me t the medical room, Kook, I'll-"
"N-no," Jungkook let out, standing up roughly, pulling away. Jungkook looked at Taehyung, and Taehyung could tell he looked more than embarrassed from his tears. "Y-you fucking alien weirdo- I hate you!" Jungkook shouted with a crack in his voice, and then turned around and rushed into his room, slamming it shut.
Everyone was stunned silent, and Jimin's eyes were wide, and he looked at the door, and then back at Taehyung, who was frozen in place. "Woah- did- did Jungkook just say that? No- that's not fucking okay he can't fucking say that-" Jimin snapped, and Hoseok placed his arm on his back.
"Jimin, I think we better leave him alone for now." Hoseok said quietly, and Jimin scoffed.
"He just- Jungkook can't say that to him! That's really offensive!" Jimin snapped, and the boys looked at Taehyung warily, all except Namjoon, who was glaring.
"We'll talk to him in the morning. Taehyung- I thought we said to talk maturely?" Namjoon said, and Taehyung sighed, looking at him.
"I did. I tried talking maturely, but he was really goddamn angry, and-and I don't know why! Okay, I asked him to talk to me maturely, to tell me why he's upset, and I apologised a bunch of times! I never meant to hurt him, but he was really, really angry, for some reason." Taehyung let out, and Jin gulped.
"Okay, fine.. but what did you do to his arm? Like- it turned silver and kind of blue? I've never seen that before.." Jin said, and Taehyung gulped.
Jimin's eyes widened, looking at Taehyung. "Tae.. was that because...?"
Taehyung nervously looked at him. "I-I think so.."
"What's going on?" Yoongi asked, and Jimin sighed. "Tae.. I think you better just tell them."
Taehyung looked between four confused faces and one Jimin, and then sighed to himseld. "Ohhhh my god it's really fucking weird okay. Listen, Jupiter's a fucking.. weird planet, alright? But.. apparently, and I don't know how-how accurate this is- b-because I read it in a book about Jupiter from ages ago.. but my dad said it's kind of true.. so I don't know.."
"Just tell us, stop stalling." Namjoon snapped, and Taehyung let out an oof.
"Okayyyyy so like. Apparently if another person tastes the fluids of a Juno male or female and it tastes sweet-"
"Oh my god Jungkook drank your piss-"
"No! What the fuck? Jin, ew! No. I just came in his mouth. Not anything weird like that." Taehyung said, and Hoseok threw his hands in the air.
"That's fucking weird too!!"
"In your opinion!!! Anyways- so apparently if it tastes sweet.. like fruits or-or lemonade or.. chocolate-" Taehyung trailed, but got cut off.
"Honestly if I was in Jupiter I'd just such MAD dick and get free iced tea or some shit." Jimin said, and Taehyung glared at him to shut up, and then continued.
"Okay, if it tastes sweet like that, it could mean that the two people are.. linked, you can say." Taehyung mumbled, and Yoongi let out the biggest sigh.
"Dude, just fucking tell us! We already know what you're going to say. It's soulmates, isn't it? You two are destined to be together or some shit? That's how it work in many other planets too," Yoongi snapped, and Taehyung looked at him.
"Jungkook's your soulmate?" Jin asked softly, and Jimin burst out laughing.
"Ha! Y'all wish it was that simple." Jimin said, and Taehyung sighed.
"See- here's the thing. Chocolatey taste means.. soulmate. Love. That bullshit. But- but Jungkook said white chocolate... which, if I read correctly, means-"
"Bro your pale marmalade tastes like white chocolate?? Wack as shit- can I try?"
"Jin what the fuck-"
"Let him fucking finish, you guys!" Jimin snapped, and Taehyung screamed for three seconds and then regained his composure, looking anxious.
"If- if it tastes like white chocolate.. it means like... it means I'm- I'm his-"
Everyone looked at him with intensity, eyes wide, questioning, nervous, inquiring, curious, wanting to know whatever the fuck he was going to say.
Taehyung sighed. "It means I'm going to be the reason he dies."
Everyone froze.
"Okay... what?!" Yoongi yelled, and Taehyung covered his face with his hands.
"I-I'm not sure.. it could either be the soulmate thing or the death thing. Or both. Fuck." Taehyung whined, and Namjoon patted his back, at the same time mouthing what the fuck to Jin, who shrugged.
"Maybe it was a misunderstanding! Like, Kook just casually joked about your cum tasting like maple syrup. Wait- is that why you were being mean to him? Because you didn't want him to be your soulmate?" Hoseok asked.
"Well, yeah, also it would suck to, like, kill him and stuff. I just- aah, I don't know! The book I read said people taste the blood of their enemies to see if they're going to be the reason they die or not or some shit. So it's legit." Taehyung said, and then Jimin frowned.
"Wait... if-if you merely gripped his forearm and it turned silver.. doesn't that possibly mean.. I mean... the death thing?" Jimin asked softly, and Taehyung frowned himself.
"Don't say that, Jimin. He's been acting super emotional. Maybe that's because of the soulmate thing! Let's not assume. Plus, I'm sure this isn't real anyways. We'll do research on it and confirm it to ourselves. Let's all go to sleep now." Jin said, and everyone nodded, Jimin patting Taehyung's shoulder in comfort.
Taehyung walked towards his room, but Namjoon grabbed his arm before he could walk in. Taehyung turned, and Namjoon looked at him sternly.
"You're going to talk to him in the morning and fix this. This fight is childish, and the last thing I need, Taehyung. I know what he said to you was bad, but to give him the benefit of the doubt, I'll say it was in the heat of the moment. You will talk to him and straighten things out. Okay?" Namjoon said, and Taehyung nodded curtly.
"Yes captain." Taehyung said softly, and then walked into his room, heavy feeling in his chest.

The Ancient Tree's Journey
On a planet far away from Earth, an ancient tree lives inside a beautiful forest. When the tree realises that its life is coming to an end, it creates a seed without a soul. The seed begins a long journey, being passed from person to person, until it finally collides with the soul of a girl from Earth and sprouts. With her human knowledge, the girl tries to survive in this world... as a tree. Note: This is my first time writing a novel, so my writing style might be a little rough around the edges sometimes, especially the first twelve are still amateur style. I'll probably rewrite them at some point... later perhaps. Also, the MC will be introduced in chapter 13. The first twelve chapters are more of an introduction to the world, so they bear little significance to the main story. Still, I recommend reading it if you want to get a better view of the world. Chapter releases once every four days.
