it's my birthday. fuck birthdays. but, it's the day my album drops.

i streched and rolled over to find the bed empty besides lola and astro next to me.

my alarm went off and i got confused because i never set one. that's when i checked it to see if was named "come downstairs"

i smiled and rushed to put clothes on before going down stairs to find luke standing in the kitchen making french toast and balloons on the table.

he put a party hat on teddy which caused me to laugh and him turn around.

"good morning birthday girl" he said making me smile.

"good morning handsome"

i sat at the table while he made food. i went on snapchat and answered snaps before going to twitter to see the birthday wishes i had gotten

i replied to some people before luke set my food in front of me. he sat down across from me with his food.

i set my phone down and dug into my food. he did the same as the animals laid by us.

harris started texting me and i smiled.

party starts at 7, album drops at 9, party

ends at 12. i know luke has things on

"what do you have planned?" i asked which made luke smile and put our plates in the sink before coming over to me

"go get ready gorgeous" was all he said before leaning down to kiss me.

i ran upstairs and quickly did my makeup and hair before dressing in all pink. luke came upstairs and slapped my ass before kissing my cheek.

"you look hot" he said and i smiled while i finished curling my hair.

he went to his side of the closet and pulled out a matching pink button up.

i giggled to myself before answering my birthday texts from friends and family. luke came in and brushed his teeth while looking at me through the mirror

"what?" i questioned which caused him to shake his head.

i left the bathroom to go put on my doc martens then make the bed. as i was making the bed luke glared at me which made me stop what i was doing

"nope i gotta get you places. come on darling" he said making me blush.

we walked downstairs after i grabbed my bag. he grabbed the keys and his wallet before we went to the car.

once in the car, i turned on our shared playlist and he started driving. the destination was still unclear to me

"so how are my two angels doing today?" he asked placing his hand on my stomach

"pretty well. we are with daddy so" i joked and he smirked and patted my thigh

"so true. i am dropping you off at caroline's for a little while i go do something with karl. you okay with that?" he asked

"yuppers" i said and he laughed.

i sang a long to the song as we pulled up to caroline's where she was on her front porch with karl.

"i love you baby. text me if you need anything"

"i love you too" i said before kissing him and getting out.

i walked up and hugged karl and he smiled and started giggling with excitement

"happy birthday kayla" he said before running off to luke's car

"happy birthday kay"caroline said as i turned to her. i thanked her and we went inside were kalynn and mikey were

"ahhhh hey y'all" i said hugging them then sitting on a stool at the island in caroline's kitchen.

"so we are to keep to busy while luke and karl do things. harris and katie are monitoring the set up of tonight's event. we just got to get you ready." caroline said and i nodded

"got it!"
