Hazel eye's

I told her there was a labyrinth in her eyes,

An emerald green road with walls of golden brown.

I told her I could wonder that labyrinth for hours,

in search of what I'll find at the end.

I wondered if her thoughts would fly in the endless sky that is her brain.

If the things she keeps hidden in the darkest places of her mind,

will find comfort in my company.

I wished to explore that beautiful mind of hers.

One day I told her that I could lose myself in her eyes,

That it scared and intrigued me what I could find in them.

That at one point I stopped looking for something

Cause I realized,

that just being with her

wandering the roads of her eyes was all I needed.

I told her that just being her friend was all that I needed,

That those hazel eyes would love someone deeply,

just not me.

So I cherished them in all their glory.
