"Hey Ji-soo, I have some work today, so I gotta go," (y/n) lied easily. Ji-soo nodded. "You sure you can handle all the calls?"
"Yeah, yeah, it's not as if anyone calls," Ji-soo said, waving it off. (Y/n) raised an eyebrow.
"I don't know, I feel as if there might be a call today," she said non-chalantly. Ji-soo shrugged.
"Then so be it."
"Okay, then, goodbye. See you tomorrow. Don't forget your Biology homework."
"Oh yeah, I forgot. Thanks for the reminder. Bye."
(Y/n) left the room, leaving Ji-soo alone. Outside, Namjoon was waiting for her. They both shared an amused glance before leaving for their 'hang-out'.

"Hello, this is the school hotline for advice. How may I help you?"
"Something wrong?"
"Well, what's your problem then?"
"Oh, need-a-friend section? Sure, go right ahead."
"Thanks. So, I'm a senior and honestly, I'm stressing out a lot."
"Understandable, it's your last year."
"Oh... About what?"
"Hey, I won't tell anyone. It's okay, we don't even know each other."
"It's okay to feel like that."
"Hey, listen. If they are really like that, I don't know why you are afraid to leave them. And if they are understanding, then seriously, just go and say it. I'm sure, they will wipe away all your fears. Really."
"Yeah. Man up, and do it!"
"..." "Huh?"
"How did you... know my name? I didn't tell you."
"Yeah, oh shit alright. Who are you?!"
"Close, but no. Who are you?"
"..." Sound of something crashing.
"Sorry! My phone slipped from my hands. Jin?"
"No, it's, it's okay. I just, I got worried that people know who is speaking on this side. It's supposed to be anonymous, so I worried about it."
"I thought your voice felt familiar too, but I just assumed it was a classmate... We get those sometimes."
Blushes, "I'm, I'm good with voices?"
Jumps, "Holy- Yeah, sure. Later."
"Bye."

8 1116Villager Three
Kira Hawthorne was just another teenage girl until the day a 'god' told the world their 'realm' was getting assimilated, since they lost some War no one on Earth even knew about. A System is installed on the whim of a very old and capricious god. Kira immediately gets trapped in a pocket dimension, and emerges to find a once familiar world turned foreign... And very hostile.
8 206Polly and Drake
Drake has been searching for a job as a personal guard, but wherever he turns, he is kicked out without fail. It's not that he's terrible with weapons, or inattentive. It could be because of his obvious racial heritage. Or because of Polly. With his funds dwindling, the only remaining option is to become one of the Cursed: poor souls that work for the Dragoneye Guild. In other lands, they may be called adventurers, saviors or even heroes, but not in the White Desert. Here, they are shunned and ignored. Depraved people who forsook their humanity for money and fame. With this choice, Drake may not only fall from grace, but also become one of only a few thousands capable of unearthing the secrets of ancient times. If he could get this guardsman notion out of his head. May contain gore, violence, profanity and traumatising content. Taking another shoot at this writing business. I write for fun and when I have time. There is no plan. The story may change drastically from what it starts out - or not. We'll see what happens. Currently, I'm aiming for a Slice of Life with LitRPG elements at a later time.
8 87The White Desert
The White Desert is a collection of short stories, written by myself, Nigel Scott, for your perusal and enjoyment. Each chapter will be its own short story, and will center around different characters and events. Some stories are based upon my life, and others are from a world I have written.
8 142MAZE - The Endless Quest
As all kids do, Hera wanted to be an explorer. Sadly when she turned 18, she discovered that her stats and lack of skills made her fail the requirements to become one, and she went to work on a bookstore. That should have been the end of her story. But when she wins a lottery to have her level up, she discovers a hidden skill and a rare one at that. The system gave her dream back, and this time she is not letting it go. ############################## The story is about a world where game-like systems are the norm. Everyone has a level, status, and even skills are a common thing. If your stats are good, you can also become an explorer, someone that ventures inside a place called MAZE, a dungeon of sorts filled with monsters, creatures, and things that the natural world is missing, such as magic and demi-humans. The story follows Hera, a woman who wanted to be an explorer, but her status were too low to become one. One day she wins a raffle that allows her to level up for the first time giving her the chance to achieve her childhood dream. It's more about how things work and what you can do with them than about power or revenge. The rhythm might be a bit slow for some, but that is the idea. I want to give sort of a slice of life feeling to most of it.

"In my defense, I hadn't actually been trying to get hit by a truck." Artemis wakes up alone in a giant futuristic facility with no hint of where she is, how she got here, or what this means. Yet within two weeks, she is shot at with all the guns, a voice is beginning to speak in her head, and she is tormented by a seemingly sentient and possibly trollish space Roomba. Her only hope is Scarlet, another girl who is a complete stranger and almost shot her in the head. Oh, and she has fox ears and a tail. That is possibly worth mentioning. Artemis is not a nerd. She has never heard of the isekai genre, she can't fight worth a damn, and the blue-collar skills she learned at her community college are absolutely useless in a universe where technology is often indistinguishable from magic. She only has one thing going for her: A mysterious ability to interface with highly advanced technology left behind by the Antecessors, the long lost precursor civilization with technology that no one has been able to adequately replicate. Finding herself in a universe where civilizations are locked in an interstellar Cold War, where societies are so stratified that the aristocracy commands fleets of starships while slaves wash clothes with their hands, Artemis decides to run away from it all. She has a ship. She'll find a crew. She'll find a way to make a living at the fringes of civilization, learn how to cope with danger, and survive the affections of a universe where everyone is a cute girl with animal ears and tails. Welcome to Intercessor. AKA Kemonomimi Yuri Space Fantasy. Commissioned by Shaderic. Please leave your sense of shame at the door.
