"I have a confession to make," Jin announced to the table and the boys stopped chattering to hear the older. "Uh, you know Namjoon's lady friend?"
"Yeah, (y/n)'s nice," Jungkook said non-chalantly. "Good choice, Namjoon-hyung."
"Thanks," said a red faced Namjoon. Jin smirked at Namjoon's state.
"Right, her friend, Ji-soo," Jin continued. Yoongi's eyes widened. "Er, I didn't tell you all, but I have a crush on her. Since last year."
"Holy- this is perfect!" Namjoon nearly yelled at the same time the others voiced out their disbelief. They turned to the over-excited Namjoon, who sat down in his seat again, embarrassed by his outburst.
"Uh, it is?" Jin asked, confused. "What are you talking about Namjoon-ah?"
"Uhm, well, you see, I made a mistake," Namjoon said to the others. "When (y/n) told me she was the hotline girl she asked me who the girl I liked was. I panicked and said her friend's name. I was looking for a reason to give (y/n) as to why I am over her now."
"Woah, woah, no!" Jin cried, slamming his hands on the table. "You are NOT going to tell Ji-soo's best friend that I like her!"
"Don't worry, hyung," Namjoon reassured him. "She's good at keeping secrets. Please trust me. She won't destroy it; in fact, she knows her friend the best. Maybe she can help!"
"I don't wanna risk it," Jin grumbled.
"Yeah, Namjoon-ah, what's to say she might not blurt it out?" Hoseok asked worriedly. "That might destroy Jin-hyung's chances."
"It won't, please, trust me guys," Namjoon pleaded to them. The others looked at each other restlessly before looking at him.
"Okay," Jin sighed. "But please, please think over this before doing it."

"Of course, hyung. I promise, I won't destroy your chances; in fact, I'll enhance them!"

"...and then you substitute it and do this and ta-da! You have the answer," (y/n) grinned at Ji-soo. Ji-soo looked at her as if she's a miracle. "What? You didn't understand? Do you want me to explain again? I can do simpler-"
"No, no, I understood," Ji-soo said, smiling sheepishly. "That's the thing. You're seriously too smart."
"Aw, no, I'm not that smart," (y/n) replied, her cheeks pink from embarassment. Someone cleared their throat behind her. She turned around with a smile on her face. "What's up Joonie?"
"I was hoping you would come with me," he said, rubbing the nape of his neck. "There's, something I need to talk to you about."
(Y/n) got worried, but didn't express it. She stood up from the library booth and jerked her head to tell Ji-soo that she should continue studying while she went to talk it out with Namjoon.
Namjoon led her to another booth, where they both took seats across each other. (Y/n) placed her hands on top of his that was lying on the table. Namjoon swore he could hear his heartbeat pounding in his ears.
"What's wrong?" She asked, concerned for him. "Is it your family? Friends? Are you okay?"
"I'm okay, it's not, everybody's okay," he said hastily. "I, uh, you remember Jin?"
"Yeah, is it about him?" She asked with furrowed eyebrows.
"Uh, in a way, yes," he said. "I, I am giving up on Ji-soo."
(Y/n)'s heart soared and the monster in her chest roared its approval of that line.
"Thank- What?!" She asked, biting her lip for slipping out.
"It's just, she doesn't seem interested and I lost hope and then Jin said that he has a crush on her," Namjoon explained. "He really likes her more than me, so I'm giving up. I think I lost it somewhere along the course too."

"Oh, thank goodness you did!" (Y/n) blurted out. Namjoon was confused. "Ji-soo, actually, she doesn't think of you that way. And I didn't know how to break it to you. It's better that you fell out of it yourself."
"Yeah," Namjoon gave a sigh of relief. "Whoa, also, promise me you won't tell Ji-soo about Jin's crush. He trusted me with my word that you won't destroy his chances, so yeah."
"Of course I won't!" She said giddily. "In fact, Ji-soo likes him too!"
"Really?" Namjoon asked, happiness evident on his face. "She does?"
"Yeah, so if it's okay with you, maybe we can get them together!"
"Oh yeah, that will be good. When do we start?"
"Actually, I just thought of a plan..."

A LitRPG set in a dark fantasy world with innate game systems.
8 108Cast Under Ellitis
Ellitis, a world of sword and magic. Massive in size, with most of its surface unexplored. Where dragons and spirits dwell amongst men and demi-humans, where gods and devils alike barter with mortals and immortals. Beautiful as it might seem, mystical even, Ellitis is not a world for the frail. It is a place where the strong prey upon the weak, and where the weak struggle with every fiber of their being to overthrow the strong. It is here, in an unsuspecting corner of this world, that an unfortunate soul was born an orphan by the mischief of beings untold. Eliot Wyon, formerly known as Eliot Alderman, was just a mediocre engineering student in his past life. Perhaps without any help, this life of his will be just as boring as his last. But throw in an impish ex-goddess to help him along. Maybe, just maybe, he could make this life a bit more interesting. ----------------------------------------**Author's Note**---------------------------------------- Hello Everyone, I am Vi, Cat Vi. This is my first attempt at writing a story. I am a complete beginner at this. The closest thing to an organized story I’ve ever written is essay reports back in high school. There might be syntax errors and weird language all over the place. So, apologies in advance. I’ll be trying my best to make this story as interesting as possible, and with your feedback I am sure I can make something nice out of it. Constructive criticism is appreciated. And you are welcome to comment any errors you might notice. I’ll try to fix them up as soon as I can. For now, I don’t have a schedule. But if the story gets traction, I will try to work something out. **Cover Image Drawn by me.
