"I heard you helped my friend?" Namjoon asked as the two walked down the school corridors to the cafeteria. (Y/n) nodded.

"Yeah, he really seemed troubled," she admitted. "Though, thanks for promoting the hotline."

She teased a laugh out of him and he shook his head.

"You're welcome, anytime," he said happily. "So, ready to meet my friends?"

"Oh, we're doing it now?" She asked with bright eyes. "Wait, wait, wait! I need to quickly get Ji-soo."

"Oh, yeah, uhm," Namjoon smiled nervously. (Y/n) flashed him a smile before walking away to find her best friend.

"Wait here for me!" She called out behind her to him. Namjoon nodded, raking his hand through his hair. How would it all go?

Five minutes later, the two girls came, Ji-soo looking calm while (y/n) looked excited.

"Let's go!"

The trio went inside the cafeteria and Namjoon led them to his friends' table. His friends stopped chattering as they looked up to see the newcomers.

"Guys, this is (l/n) (y/n) and Park Ji-soo," Namjoon introduced them. The boys quickly moved to give them seats to sit, with disorganised but cheerful 'hi's 'hello's and 'nice to meet you's. The girls sat down. "And you two, these are my closest friends - Kim Seokjin and Min Yoongi, both seniors, Jung Hoseok you know, Kim Taehyung, Park Jimin and Jeon Jungkook, all sophomores."

"Nice to meet you," the two girls chorused back. The guys smiled.

"We've heard a lot about you," Seokjin said with a smile. "Ah, call me Jin, I prefer it over Seokjin."

"Sure, Jin," (y/n) said cheerfully to the older boy. "I've heard quite a lot about you guys too. Namjoon speak highly of you, however he also says you are all tough to handle, and, ahem, cracked."

The boys laughed at the last word and Ji-soo grinned. (Y/n) shared an amused glance with Namjoon.

"That we are," Taehyung joked, with a smug smile. "Completely."

"If you say so," Ji-soo replied. "Sorry if I have trouble remembering your names. There's too many of you..."

"It's okay," Hoseok said, his face practically radiating sunlight. "Take your time!"

The nine of them talked till lunch ended.

"Hey, Ji-soo, what's up?" (Y/n) asked, later on that day, when they were waiting in their club room. "Your mind's not here... Something wrong?"

"Ah, um, no," she blushed. "It's just, uh, Jin. You know, he talked with me and all, so I just..."

"You got flustered and really happy," (y/n) finished satisfactorily. Ji-soo blushed some more. "I swear, you have it worse than I do."

"Sometimes, I agree to that as well," Ji-soo replied with a giggle. (Y/n) laughed at that. "But seriously, have you looked at him? He's just... damn. Captalised and underlined."

"Uh-huh," (y/n) smirked. "Sure, sure. I see what you mean but..."

"You think Namjoon is better," Ji-soo scoffed. "Seriously, sometimes, I wonder what you see in him. He's always so... so reserved. Honestly, I mean, he's a nice guy and all, but I don't understand what he's done to make you fall for him so damn hard."

"I don't know either, 'soo," (y/n) said with puffed cheeks. The idea that Namjoon liked Ji-soo and she didn't even think of him as boyfriend-worthy just made her stomach clench.

She would hate to break his heart. How to break it to him?
