(Y/n)'s P.O.V.
"Alright. Now that introductions are over, let's get down to business," Byakuya stated, crossing his arms, "this is no time for standing around while making friends like a bunch of dull-eyed baboons."
"I mean, that is true! Someone was talking about a bigger problem or something?" I questioned, tilting my head and placing a finger on my chin.
"Well, you see, (Y/n), you were telling us about how you were randomly asleep? The same thing happened to the rest of us," Sayaka blurted.
"Yeah, man! After each of us got to the main hall, we just lost consciousness," Leon uttered as he ran his pale hand through his hair. "And when we woke up, we were just somewhere in the school! That's what happened with you, right?"
"This is really weird...that the same thing happened to all of us," I mumbled and furrowed my eyebrows.
"Exactly! That's why everyone is freakin' out!" Mondo screamed. Mondo clenched his fist after he had spoken.
"That is not the only thing; you saw all of the windows in the hallways and classrooms, right?" Taka questioned. I nodded in response. "Instead of normal glass windows, it's just a bunch of big metal plates! What's up with that?!"
"And all of my stuff is missing! Even my precious cellphone," Junko complained, letting out a sign in annoyance.
"Yeah, Junko's right...I haven't seen my PDA anywhere," Chihiro remarked as she clasped her hands together.
"Also, the main hall here, too. The front exit is blocked by some weird, giant metal hatch. Nothing like that was here when I first came here!" a bead of sweat rolls down Taka's face, "what the heck?! What is going on here?!"
"Maybe we got caught up in some, I dunno, like, crime or something?" Junko said with a nervous smile.
"Huh? Like a kidnapping or something?" Leon chuckled nervously. "You think someone just grabbed us, hauled us off, and took us? Are we not actually at school?"
"Come on, everyone Don't be like that! Cheer up," Hiro stated, rubbing his chin as in deep thought. "I bet this is all just a part of the school's orientation procedure or something! I'm sure that's it! So I'll take it easy for a bit."
Chihiro let out a breath of relief as she wiped away tears that fell from her eyes. "Oh! So do you think they just wanted to do something to surprise us new students?"

"Huh...well if that's all this is, then I'll go take a nap," Leon muttered, pouting and running a hand through his hair yet again. "I was up too late last night, so I could use some more sleep!" Leon chuckled.
I could practically feel the tension in the room disappear...
But then, it began.
The sound of a school bell rang throughout the building, making everyone jump in surprise.
A monitor on the wall began to light up, but the screen never cleared out. Everything was glitchy, and the only thing you could see was the silhouette of a person. A voice emerged from the monitor.
"Ahem! Testing! Testing! Mic check! One, two! This is a test for the school broadcast system!" the person over the monitor exclaimed, "am I on? I think everyone can hear me! Okay, well then!"
To me, the voice seemed too out of place. It was so playful and totally unconcerned. I felt such a dread at the sound of the voice. It resembled a person laughing as they committed a horrible crime.
"Ah, to all of the new students! I would like to begin the entrance ceremony now! Please make your way to the gymnasium at your earliest convenience! I'll be waiting!" the person shouted. After that, the monitor turned off.
Everyone in the room was silent. The silence was then broken by no other than Junko.
"What the hell was that?" Junko shouted in confusion.
"Well then, if you'll excuse me," Byakuya stated before turning away and heading towards the gym.
"W-Wait! You're just gonna take off just like that?" Junko blurted, placing her hands on her hips.
"I get it now! This whole thing is just to get us all pumped up for the entrance ceremony!" Hiro yelled, smiling widely, "man, thank God this is all a joke! I'd be totally freaked out if all of this is real! Alright, guess I'll head out, too. I wonder what else they got planned for us!" Hiro then walked away, following Byakuya's trail to the gym.
After Hiro, everyone slowly started dispersing and went to the gym, each muttering a statement before going.
Junko scurried over to me and linked arms with me, smiling widely; an uneasy smile. She shouted, "let's go, (N/n)!"
I nodded and walked beside Junko, her arm linked with mine. We both strolled in silence, an uneasy expression on our faces. Finally, we arrived at the hallway leading to the gym. There were flags hanging from the ceiling with the Hope Peak's Academy symbol on each of them. On both sides of the wall sat display cases of trophies along with some more flags.

Before entering the door, I glanced up at the monitor, or maybe a television, and furrow my eyebrows; the school sure had a lot of these.
"You ready?" Junko asked me, by which I nodded. She then opened the door. Upon entering the gym, a larger sense of dread washed over me. My arm fell as well as Junko's, our arms no longer linked together tightly.
Before us was the gym, a red carpet laid out on the floor with chairs rested neatly atop of it; it really did look like an entrance ceremony.
"See? I told ya! It's a totally normal entrance ceremony!" Hiro chuckled.
I guess Hiro was right, but at the same time I couldn't help but feel like this situation is anything but normal.
"Hey there! Howdy! Hi! Hello! Is everyone here? Good! Let's get this rolling!"
Everyone turned towards the sound of the voice, which was near the stage of the gym. Suddenly, a boy, around our age, jumped up from behind the podium. He had half-black and half-white hair along with one red eye and one black eye. He also had small, fluffy bear ears atop of his head. His left side had black hair and a red eye, while the other side had white hair and a gray eye.
The boy giggled and sat upon the podium, crossing his legs. He rested his elbow on his lap and rested his face onto his hand; the position was so relaxed and his appearance seemed childish, making it a tad hard to believe that he was going to be a teacher or something like that.
"Huh? He has...teddy bear ears?" Chihiro mumbled, tilting her head.
"It's not teddy bear ears! Don't mistake me for a teddy bear! I...am...Monokuma!" the male shouted in slight annoyance.
Monokuma's attire consisted of black shorts that stopped right above his knees, a white button-up shirt along with a hoodie atop of that. The hoodie was half-black and half-white, matching his hair. On his right leg, he had a white knee-high sock; on his left leg, he had a black knee-high sock. On his left foot, he had a white boot and the opposite for his other foot. He had a tie hanging loosely around his neck as well, I suppose it was supposed to give him some sort of delinquent look. Overall, the outfit seemed to match his vibe.
"And I am your, actually, I am this school's, headmaster!" Monokuma laughed, holding both of his hands in front of his mouth; by doing that, I could notice that his nails were painted black and white, each hand matching his hair.
To be honest, this is one of the strangest things I have seen. Before me was, what seems like, a childish teenager claiming that he was the headmaster. It was incomprehensible.
"Nice to meet everyone!" Monokuma shouted, hopping off of the podium and onto the stage. He looked down at all of us new students with a smirk on his face. Monokuma's attitude was carefree and completely out of place. The dread sitting in my stomach soon disappeared and the emotion was replaced with confusion.
"Wh-What?!" Hifumi screamed, holding his hands out in front of himself. "H-He looks like a human teddy bear!"
"Calm down! I'm sure it's just some sort of cosplay or something," Taka chuckled.
"I told you already! Do not mistake me for a teddy bear! And it's not some cosplay!" Monokuma shouted, an expression of annoyance spreading across his features. "I'm Monokuma and I'm your headmaster!"
"Wahh! He's scary!" Hifumi screamed again as panic was evident in his expression.
"Seriously, man, chill! He's just a kid in bear ears and a crappy outfit," Mondo stated, teeth clenched.
"How dare you call me that! You've cut me deep! My outfit is not crappy and I am not a kid! I am your age, you bozo!" Monokuma yelled at Mondo, "my fashion style is way better than yours, for sure! Think twice before bashing my style! I couldn't bear the thought of you embarrassing yourself again!"
Mondo rolled his eyes.
""Bear" that? Oh, you really are unfortunate," Celeste stated, her hand places over her mouth. Monokuma casted a glance at her before clearing his throat.
"Moving on! We must hurry and get this all started!" Monokuma laughed, his pale lips curled up into a smile.
"Seriously? No more bear puns?" Junko snickered.
"Quiet down! Ah, okay!" Monokuma giggled, "everyone! Stand at attention and bow! Say it with me, "good morning!""
"Good morning!!" Taka shouted, bowing. Everyone else simply bowed, not uttering a word.
"Aww, party poopers! I expected more students to say good morning! Anywho, let's commence with a most noteworthy and memorable entrance ceremony! First off, let's talk a bit about what your school life here will be like!"
