"Yeah I think we should go home" Becca says to Hannah and then looking at Toby as he was taking the group of 4 home.
"Oh okay, bye guys hope you resolve things" Toby says as he holds Hannah's hand and walks out the house with James and Becca following.
"I have to be home soon anyways, so I think it's best I go home now guys thanks for having me around." Louis says, as he lifts himself up off the floor heading towards his coat and car keys before waving at me and then hugging the triplets goodbye. "Uhh Chloe? I'll take you home if you want." He questions waiting for her response. "Ok sure thanks Louis" Chloe replies shortly as she grabs her phone and walks past everyone not daring to look anyone in the eyes. They leave. It was just an awkward silence in the house now, no one dared to speak for a good 3 minutes until Chris spoke, "y/n you can stay over if you want, it's dark out I don't want you to get lost" he said with a bit of hope that I would stay over. I didn't want to be near Matt right now not after what he did, " no thanks I'll just walk home, I'm sure I'll be fine." I said sternly getting up as I grabbed my belongings, I gave nick a hug then left the house shutting the door gently as my eyes filled up. I managed to hold my tears back whilst in the house but now I was on my own.. it all came spilling out. "Why me" I whispered as I made my way to a park and sat on a swing, my hoodie sleeves were getting damper and damper by the second as I cried my eyes out feeling so betrayed, I had my head in my arms covering my face as I cried, so many thoughts were flowing through my mind right now like: 'how long has it been going on for' 'how can you be so blind' 'how did you not know' 'your so stupid' I was so concentrated in my own thoughts I didn't even notice a presence next to me. I was engulfed in a hug, a pair of arms held me tight as the unknown person spoke "shhh it's okay I'm here now" they said calmly. Turns out the person speaking to me and hugging me was Chris, Yes Christopher Sturniolo the boy I thought hated me was currently comforting me, I felt somewhat safe in his arms so it didn't take me long to burry my head into his chest and cry my eyes out. Soon, I pulled out the hug and looked at him I felt so embarrassed. "sorry" was all I could say catching my breath. "Don't be sorry I completely understand, Matts just being a total douche." He softly said before offering to walk me home. "How did you find me?" I wondered glancing up at him, "I just figured you'd be somewhere around here and I guess I was correct". He smiled before taking my hand smoothly in his, walking in the direction of my home. It was silent on the way home but it wasn't a bad silence it was a type of silence you'd enjoy. We arrived at my house as I unlocked the door, all the lights were off clarifying everyone was asleep, "thank you Chris I appreciate it" I whispered as my mom was a very light sleeper. "No problem anytime-" he was cut off when I embraced him in a hug, I could feel him tense a little bit but a second later I felt his arms wrap around my figure as he rested his chin on my head. "you don't deserve to feel like this, I promise I'll try and cheer you up." He whispered gently, I hummed in response and a slight smile grew across my face. "oh and I'm sorry on behalf of matt." He hugged me tighter before pulling away, giving me a kiss on the top of my head. "Once again.. thank you" I smiled "it's fine, best I get going.. night" he waved before turning away heading home. "Night Chris" I whispered as I shut the door heading to the stairs and quietly running to my room.

8 168Out of the Blue
Spring: the chrips of the birds, the blooming of the flowers, and the gentle patter of the rain. Ah, what a beautiful time of the year! When students look forward to the coming summer vacation, when lovers rejoice under the sprouting trees, and when monsters rampage across the planet, but of course this would be autumn in the southern hemisphere. Thus is the peaceful life of our protagonist shattered as game like elements and otherworldly denizens intrude upon an unsuspecting Earth. Armed with nothing but his modern sensibilities and urban constitution, he will have to face a world brimming with encounters - both monstrous and otherwise. For those who are confused, this is one of those RPG Apocalypse stories.

Note: This is my first work of fiction, and as such, there will almost certainly be issues with pacing, grammar, the writing as a whole, and the story as a whole. If I reach a suitable point to pause the story, I will most likely do a complete rewrite as a separate RR posting. If you have any suggestions, feel free to post them here or in the discord. Thank you for reading!
8 196Lost souls, will be rewritten soon. (Old version)
In a world where mages stand above the peasants, the nobles, and the law, it is not surprising that everyone wants to learn magic. Five siblings from a village in the middle of nowhere felt the same. Unfortunately, a dragon brought ruin to their home, eventually cornering the five blood brothers. Luz, the eldest brother, ignored the warnings of his ancestors for the sake of their survival. Using an ancient teleportation spell, he and his siblings were sucked into a portal leading to God-knows-where. In a foreign place far from home, Luz carries the burden of disobeying his ancestors and losing his younger brothers. He sets off to reunite his siblings and slay the dragon that destroyed their village while only being equipped with one useless space spell that drains all his mana after one usage. Author's note: English isn't my first language and this is the first novel I tried writing, which is why some of the earlier chapters aren't that good, even though I grew better over time. I'm still in the phase of editing a lot of my earlier chapters. But unfortunately, I haven't yet found any time for it. Daily updates are to be expected till we reach chapter 100. If your comment motivates me, I might upload up to five chapters.^^
