《Shivers (BoyXBoy)》Chapter Two

The next two weeks flew by in a flash I applied to the collage that Mr. Dixson recommended and prepared for my graduation. I didn't have a big celebration when it finally happened I didn't want one. Kenneth, Issy and I spent the night hanging out at Issy's apartment watching movies and hanging out. I begged Kenneth to tell my family that I was going to spend graduation with him, Jewl wouldn't like the idea of me going with a man I just met to a place I didn't know, after hours of begging he finally agreed for a price which of course was no problem.
Axel texted me Friday morning and said to meet him at the park about two blocks from my house. I packed my clothes and went over to Kenneth's house around noon his house was a closer walking distance to the park and I had to give him my car keys, As payment, after explaining what he and Issy can not do in my car, although they weren't dating it seemed like they grew a lot close since graduation and I want my car to stay innocent if anything were to happen. We hung out and played video games until I decided I should walk to the park. Kenneth wished me luck and winked at me when left his apartment. I think He only ever has Sex on his brain not to mention Axel is a guy. Of course Kenneth didn't know that. No one knew who I was meeting with.
So that brings us to now. Me sitting on a park bench in the cold dark night waiting for Axel to show up. He didn't give me an exact time so I've been sitting here for about an hour waiting. I tried to humor myself to make the wait go by faster, I counted the trees, The small amount of people that were still in the park, the cars going by, The few stars that were in the dark sky and the number of stripes on my sweater.
"Hey, you're Winter aren't you?" A deep crackling voice asks from behind me.
I turn around to see a large dark figure standing between two trees.
"Yes, who are you?"
"I am no one." The man said walking closer to me yet somehow keeping his face hidden fom the light of the lamp post. He reached in his coat and pulled out a small shiny pocket knife point it towards me. "Turn around."
I did as he said afraid of what he might do. "Wh-what do you want?" my voice began to tremble in fear.
"I want you to be quite, not resist me understand?" I nod as I see him bring a white towl over my mouth and nose. It smells sweet yet rotten. He pulls his hand away and I see another man step out from beside the bench as my vision begins to darken.

Author's note.
No one knows how badly I just wanted to end Chapter two here but I didn't okay I didn't.
*****************
What I believe was only a few minutes later I wake up in a small bedroom with my ankle hooked to the foot of the bed by a long medal chain.
I looking around at the yellow walls that resemble my bedroom at home. Could it be that I am home? I question getting up slowly out of bed walking over to the door. Just as I place my hand on the doorknob the door is pulled open and a small man in a suit walks in with a plate of food.
"Oh you're awake, good I'll tell master right away." The man places the plate on the desk which also resembles the one in my room then quickly walks out closing the door and locking it behind him. I'm hooked to the bed how would I be able to leave? I feel my stomach grumble and quickly head to the plate. I examine the food before shoving a bite in my mouth. A burst of flavor hits my tongue and I begin to gobble down everything on the plate like I haven't eaten anything in days.
I hear the sound of keys rattling outside my door before it is opened once again this time it is Axel and the man that brought the plate for me.
"Winter." Axel smiles at me. "You finally woke up. Take the plate and leave." Axel orders the man. He rushes over taking the plate from my hands and giving me a sad smile before leaving and shutting the door behind him.
"Axel? What is this?" I ask referring to the chain connecting me to the bed.
Axel smiles again and starts to walk towards me. "It's so that you wont run away."
"Run away? Axel why am I here? Why does this place look like my room and I thought we were going to go on vacation." I quickly say trying to get all the questions out all at once.
Axel chuckles as he reaches where I am standing looking down at me with the smile never leaving his face. "You are here because I decided I wanted you and this looks like your room so you wouldn't be as freaked out when you woke up."
He gently touches my chin forcing me to look in his eyes. His face looks gentle yet I feel a strange like his eyes are looking into my soul.
"Want me?" I ask backing up.
"Yes, no need to feel afraid. My intentions may not be the purest but, I wont hurt you. Unless I need to that is." He smile turns evil as he continues to step closer to me. I back away, until a wall stops me from backing up any further. "No where left to go. It's a wonderful thing that your room is so small isn't it?" Axel then grabs my head bringing his face closer to mine.

"Axel please don't do this." I tremble closing my eyes tight. His lips hover over mine before he lets go of my head swearing under his breath. He then picks me up throwing me on the bed.
"Go to sleep." He demands before leaving the room slamming the door behind him.
'What just happened?' I question pulling the covers over my body as I close my eyes and attempt to sleep.
********************
I feel the sun shine threw the window waking me up. I sit up looking around my room. Was it all just a dream? I question throwing the blanket off of myself. Nope. There on my ankle is the chain. I try to pull on it but nothing happens. I sigh. There is no way I could ever break this. There is no way any of my brothers could break this.
After a few more tugs on the chain I decide to take a shower. I hadn't taken one last night and even if I am locked up in a room there is no need to feel dirty. I head toward the door that looks like the one to my bathroom in my room and open is slowly. Everything is exactly the same give or take a few soaps and supplies. I take off my shirt and begin to take off my pants before I remember the chain. How could I forget the chain? Come on get with it author.
I ponder what to do when the door to my room swings open and the man from the day before walks in carrying another plate and some bottles of water with him.
"Hello?" he asks looking around the room for me. "Oh no, What if he escaped the master would fire me then kill me. He would fire me so no one would think he did it then a year later I'll be dead. Oh crap." I giggle as he panics frantically around the room.
"I'm in here." I say standing in the doorway to the bathroom shirtless.
"Oh thank the lord." He sighs of relief then looks at my body. "Trying to take a shower?" He questions.
"No I just have the shower water on and my shirt of cause this is how I like to live." I laugh as he stands there with an expression of concern on his face. "I'm kidding."
"Oh. I don't get it."
I sigh. "Anyway I'm trying to take a shower but I can't take a shower with this on." I point down to the chain.
"That is a problem." The man places his hand on his chin. "I'll be right back." The man quickly leaves the room as continue to stand in the doorway. Moments later he returns smiling. "Master said that I can take the chain off as long as you don't run. If you run the guards will probably catch you, and master wont let you take a bath with out him again. Or he said that I could cut your pants off of your body, but you wont have a way to put another pair back on. He says he wouldn't mind this but the decision is yours."
I stare at the man with out blinking for a few minutes trying to understand why he is so proud of himself to be telling me all of this. He was probably only supposed to give me the two options not tell me everything Axel said.
"Do you need some time to think?" The man asked looking at me.
"No please just take the chain off I wont run." The man nods then pulls a needle out his pocked stabbing himself in the finger. "What are you doing?" I question as he bends down letting a drop of blood fall on the ankle bracelet. Almost immediately the chain comes undone freeing my leg.
"It is something the master came up with. It is so that you would not be able to free yourself by picking the lock. It will only open with the DNA programmed into it or by a few words that only the police and the fire department know in case of an emergency."
I again stair at the man in awe, what the heck kind of futuristic thing was on my leg. "Okay." I decide to say before turning around and heading into the bathroom. "I'm going to shower now."
"Great I'll wait for you to get done." The man jumps on my bed as I close the door behind me.
I pull off my pants and jump in the shower letting the water cover me in warmth. I wonder when I'll go home.

The Stormcrow Cycle
Once a powerful and lauded witch, Ba'an salu-Ba'an now lives alone in a cave in the desert, waiting to die. When she rescues an outlander from certain death she becomes embroiled in a deadly game of politics and empire, of heart and soul, but worst of all--of hope and love and a chance at a peaceful future. Can a disgraced witch find a reason to live her life again--and if so, what price must she pay? The Stormcrow Cycle is a trilogy comprising of The Exile, The Lion, and Abomination. Tags or genres for each book: The Exile: romance, slice-of-life The Lion: romance, slice-of-life, politics Abomination: tragedy, high/epic fantasy (aka "Everything is on fire!") Updates once a week whenever I have time. Cross-posted on Wattpad and Scribble Hub. The CBMokedi cover will return! Excerpt: She looked down at him again. Young. Healthy, from what she could see, except for the wound that was killing him. He was handsome in a way that suggested a life of wealth and plenty. She did not think he had ever starved. Someone important. Her shadow fell across him, and he frowned. Blearily, he opened his eyes. They were amber and bright, even as he lay dying in the dirt. She could feel his soul, blazing inside of him like a fire refusing to die even as his body began to fail. He met her gaze, eyes widening in what she guessed was surprise—or shock. But he never looked away, staring up at her as though transfixed. Ba’an made her decision. She raised her hand and covered his eyes. In another moment, a murder of crows cawed as they took wing. The man and woman were gone from the road, leaving only the dead staring up into the sky. Note: This is a high-fantasy set in a low-magic world. The first book is largely character-driven and we really only hit the real plot in Book II, so if you're not fond of long epic yarns you ought to skip this one. I also don't include trigger warnings, but mind the "traumatizing content" tag--all societies minus one practice slavery and the world is indeed, rather grim!

Young master Damien's pet
"Who touched you?" he asked, his eyes brooding down at her and when she didn't answer, his voice thundered in the room, "WHO?" The butler who stood near the wall spoke shakily, "Sir it was Mr. Reverale," Damien's face turned sour, his jaw ticking in anger he turned his face to the side where the butler stood behind."Bring the man here.""N-now?" stuttered the butler. It was the time of night.Damien who hadn't broken his eyes contact with the girl in front of him pushed his hand against the wall which previously rested beside his beautiful girl's head. Turning his body, he first looked at his butler who had his head bowed. With great courage, the butler came to meet his master's eyes, "Do you have any other better time? Or should it be after I wring your neck?" Damien asked calmly tilting his head. Not a second later, the butler ran out of the room to return back with Mr. Reverale after twenty minutes. "Damien, are we having a late tea party?" Mr. Reverale came to greet but the master of the house had other plans. Spotting the knife that was stuck to the apple on the table, he reached for it to pull it out. Just as Mr. Reverale went to exchange a handshake with him, Damien took hold of his hand to place it on the table. In one swift movement as if he were chopping onions, he chopped the four fingers of the man off his hand making him yelp and cry in pain."No one touches what is mine. I am sure this will remind you the next time you even think about touching her," sighed Damien as if he were tired of telling people to keep their dirty hands off his belongings.
