《"Just Friends"》The Popular Life

♡ Mackenzie's POV ♡
I sighed as I got to my locker with Dexter, as rich kids we were never really popular. Okay we were but not full popular to be all over TV.
We were invited to parties and were known around the school for our good looks but also because everyone thought we were boyfriend and girlfriend.
I looked back as Dexter waited for me and I grinned, taking my time to annoy him. I heard Dexter groan so I stopped and got the things I needed before I closed my locker and turned to face him.
"History" we both said at the same time and grinned, we had moments when we said things at the same time. Sometimes it creeped people out sometimes they found it cute.
We walked to class together as we were mainly in the same classes and smiled as we walked in before the bell rang.
I quickly took my seat and placed my bag down before Dexter slid across the table and sat with a grin.
I scowled as the girls giggled and whispered "its a shame they are dating because I would love to be with him."
As we were friends Dexter was the one who went along with what people said and pretended to be my 'boyfriend' and I just let him do it, I guess it was fun to him but to me it got quite boring.
I wrote down a few notes as the teacher began the lesson like usual, I opened my school diary 'Three more days then I'll be on the beach partying with boys and drinking. I grinned and stretched as the bell rang to say class was over.
I yawned as Dexter followed me out of the classroom and we made our way to second class before break.

"God why is this sooo boring?" I asked in annoyance and got to English. Dexter peaked in and started pulling weird faces till I smacked his chest to tell him ti stop.
"Oww what was that for?" He asked yet both of us knew it didn't affect him as my hits were weak when I was play fighting.
"You being a dumbass" I told him and as I said this the door opened and the teacher stood in front of us making me shut up quickly, our English teacher seemed to be the one who always scared the shit out of me.
She had wrinkling skin but she stood tall and puffed her chest out, her face and hair was always pulled back into a greying brown hair bun and she always had her arms behind her back, if you said something she didn't like then you be in for it.
No she didn't beat you up, she just gave you a detention. I was lucky to skim it because she didn't hear what I said.
"Class, you may enter." She said like she was proud to scare the shitz out of us and we soon entered hell's hell.
