《Uninvited | Jikook Smut |》Chapter 5: Silent Chills

With nothing but chills running down the young boy's spine, he felt like there was someone in his house. Of course, how could he doubt it? He woke up with a XIII Roman Numeral tattoo over his pale shoulder and he had a headache just throbbing right at the center of his head. The boy knew someone was here and he was already set to go… He took one glance to where he felt the burning sensation or stare and carefully turned his head. With his heart pounding from the second, his gaze eventually fixed over at the wall of his living room.
Jungkook left the door open and from the hall and looked right at the silent, dull, and grim living room with only the dim lights of the bright morning shining in between the black curtains. “H-Hello?” Called out the soft and innocent voice of the boy in the room and peered out the living room. “Anyone there? I know you're staring at me! I can feel it…” Jungkook sought a way to communicate, but the dead silence only pushed his fear further. “What does thirteen mean…? Why did you give this to me?!” Jungkook shouted louder and as soon as his voice spoke back into an echo, it replied with the same burning question he wanted answers to. With that, Jungkook took his bag and slipped his shoes on after changing into his clothing for the day that consisted of a white T-shirt under an olive jacket, denim jeans, and the same black timberlands he wore the night before.
Jungkook finally rushed out of the apartment and locked the door behind him. He was sure that if someone was still in there, it was most likely that they would show up once more when the sun sets into the dark night. Today in the morning, Jungkook was greeted by the anonymous tattoo over his own shoulder and he hated to think what else would come his way for the following night. Just today, he was lucky to wake up safely. However, he was smart enough to know that he couldn't stay one more night in his own comforting home. He had to find a place elsewhere but anything but his own parents house.
Choosing to live with his parents for a while as he calls the police to investigate the premises was enough to make him feel like he needed to find another place than staying with his parents. Staying with his family would lead to him not being able to live alone now. As Jungkook thought about this while running to his campus, he brainstormed many people in his head to stay with. Eventually he even thought of his old best friend, but ended up rejecting that idea. At the very end, he chose someone to be with out of the blue. Choosing to stay with Professor Lim for the meantime.
Putting away all the unfair thoughts and embarrassing lectures the Professor would give Jungkook, and it really turns out that they were very known of each other. Professor Lim always helped with many things when it came to his students. But for this very moment, Jungkook had to cross his fingers and hope for the best that he could at least stay the night over with his professor. It didn't seem right, yet, it was his only chance.

Jungkook found the campus up ahead and eventually ran in to rush to his morning class afar from Professor Lim's class. He wasn't to have his class until the afternoon. As Jungkook rushed into his first class in the morning, he thought of ways to eventually tell his professor without getting him worried, but along the way, he was too nervous to ask. Just as Jungkook contemplated his own thoughts for a while, he felt his phone vibrate once it received a message from an unknown number.
“Jimin is… checking up on me even if he's not much of a texter...” Jungkook whispered to himself and let out a slight giggle. “He really cares about my education… Wouldn't it be nice if he cared about me without stressing about my school life?” Jungkook thought and smiled at the thought. After such a terrifying morning, receiving messages from his tutor made him have some sort of relief now. His thoughts on Park Jimin was a ball of happiness and grace rolled into one; every little thought Jungkook had about Jimin made him wish for something bigger when it came to their friendship-to-be.
After class, Jungkook changed Jimin's contact name to ‘Jimin’ not really wanting to follow by the name ‘Mr. Park.’ Jungkook loved saying the name ‘Jimin’ better than saying Mr. Park. It gave him a good feeling that he was addressing a friend instead of a tutor to himself. As Jungkook stepped out of his morning class, he began to respond to his tutor, but only then, he ran into Professor Lim. Causing Jungkook to leave Jimin unanswered.
“Hello, Jungkook. Did you take a look at the website? Did you find a tutor?” Professor Lim asked while holding a leather briefcase that went with his with his black and white suit; sealing the look with his white tie. As the older professor stood there, he smiled, rolling his hair back and fixing his own glasses over his eyes that seemed bigger under the lenses.
“O-Oh I did! His name is Park Jimin… A very nice tutor. I have my first lesson with him tonight.” Jungkook mentioned as the professor seemed so happy to know Jungkook was taking big steps to improve his education.
“That's amazing, Jungkook! I’m proud of you. Oh, and one thing… If you don't have a ride home, I want to be able to drive you to your house. There has been a lot of people missing and showing up on the news. That's why, I'm offering rides to any of my students if they have trouble getting home… Do you need a ride home?” Professor Lim proposed as Jungkook left Jimin unanswered to seek a moment to ask the older.
“N-Not only that, Professor… I also need a place to stay.” Jungkook confessed and hugged himself; feeling embarrassed to ask his own professor so suddenly.
“Is there something personal going on at home?”
“No, it's just… I was being followed home yesterday night and I woke up with the feeling that I was being watched. I can't stay there and if I go with my parents, they won't ever let me be alone again! Just one night, Professor… I won't be much trouble for you and Mrs. Lim.. I promise!” Jungkook desperately begged and the professor; being the kind man that he was, he only smiled and nodded his head to know that he will happily help.

“Of course, if you feel unsafe in your home, you are free to be at mine. I have an extra room at my home that me and my wife never use. It's a guest room.” The professor added and Jungkook just couldn't express how grateful he was to hear those words. Suddenly, his thoughts on his teacher went from against him, to for him. He didn't seem to hate his professor now.
Meanwhile, Jimin stood out in a balcony within his own apartment and kept his eyes locked onto his text message with Jungkook. He knew the boy has seen his message and Jimin was only waiting for a response to assure him he will be alright. As Jimin waited there in silence, he wore a burgundy sweater, blue ripped jeans and yellow timberlands as he rolled his brown locks back.
“T-Text me back…” Jimin whispered to himself and kept gripping onto the phone in silence. “He read my messages… Is he still in class? Is he busy?…” Jimin whispered and let out a sigh while looking into the text messages. “But… A-Answer me… Jungkook..” Jimin whispered once more. However, he only kept his stare into the messages and gritted his teeth closed. There was still many things Jungkook didn't know about Jimin and there seemed to be many more behind the man beyond the screen. But since Jimin only focused on Jungkook's education, many things seemed so closed off when it came to the young tutor.
Later on the day, Jungkook sat on a blue covered bed within the empty guest room of his professor's. He was nervous to spend the night, but also grateful to stay over. He managed to take his laptop out of his apartment before arriving and set it over the bed happily to get ready for the video chat with his tutor. After hours he hasn't responded to Jimin even after talking to his professor in the morning. Leaving Jimin to end up looking at his phone for no reason now. As Jungkook sat in the room all by himself, he logged onto the site where he waited for Jimin to log on as well.
“Come on, Jimin…” Jungkook whispered and eventually switched onto his phone to send the tutor a message and wait for him by there.
“Could he be busy…?” Questioned the boy as he took his books out and looked around the still and grim room. There was a lonely window right by the bed with no curtains at all. The atmosphere within the house was happy since Mr. And Mrs. Lim were very calm and they never argued at all. It was a healthy relationship between the two and Jungkook began to envy such a relationship like that. However, he only focused on schoolwork instead of facing relationships on his own. The only thing he could ever hold was a friendship at times.
As Jungkook waited for Jimin to respond, the boy kept his head pointed over his own phone however, he then noticed the familiar feeling calling his attention from the window. In fear, Jungkook switched his phone off and kept his stare locked onto the blue covers on the bed. The windows had no curtains and Jungkook's fear was slowly eating him alive. Just one day he woke up and suddenly, he had eyes following him everywhere… silent chills greeted him as he just wished Jimin could call him sooner over the video chat. But the more he waited, the more silence filled around the room.
Just then, his laptop screen grew blue with an incoming call from Park Jimin himself. Suddenly drawing Jungkook's eyes away with the sound of his laptop chiming repeatedly to show that he was receiving a video call. The college boy suddenly snapped back into reality and the feeling just stopped right at that moment. Causing Jungkook to focus onto his laptop. “Jimin!” Jungkook spoke into his head and pushed his hand forward to move the mouse and answer.
As he answered to Jimin's video call, his eyes met with his tutor sitting in front of a desk with his black, rectangular glasses over his eyes and white bathrobe over his exposed chest. His hair was drenched and rolled back, along with his books neatly set over his desk. Jungkook grew silent once more and just couldn't peel his eyes away from the center of Jimin's chest. “Hello, Jungkook.” Jimin spoke up with his raspy voice and let out and exhale. “I was taking a quick shower, I didn't forget about you of course.”
“I'm sorry for bothering you, Jimin- I-I mean, Mr. Park!” The young man corrected himself as he noticed Jimin pushing his own glasses up and making a smirk from the corners of his plump lips.
“That's better. Now, before we begin… Why did you ignore my text messages?”
“Text messages? Oh, I forgot to reply…” Responded the young boy as Jimin tilted his head to smile again. Jungkook was able to catch the man's constant moods swinging from happy to sarcasm at times and only then, he began to realize that a few things began to bother Jimin from the very first time they began to talk to each other. “Are you… mad at me, Mr. Park? You seem bothered… are you stressed out? We can do this tomorrow…”
“I can never be mad at you, Jeon Jungkook. Besides, stress… Everyone gets stressed out; but, you… didn't cause any of it. Just sit there and focus on me while I tutor you. Is that okay? Can you do that for me?” Jimin replied into a calm tone as Jungkook nodded his head. It was only now that Jungkook began to get lost in Jimin's looks that always seemed to drop Jungkook down and strip him from his usual complaints he'd give to almost anyone. Jimin had a way of making Jungkook seem so little in order to have his way in front of the boy… and Jungkook began to feel drawn to the feeling of becoming so little to Jimin. This just made the older tutor seem much more of a dominant towards Jungkook and the boy oddly enjoyed it. Of course, this rid Jungkook of the silent chills he experienced minutes ago… For now, that is.
