“Jimin is such a nice man… I've never met someone like that ever since I started college. Park Jimin… He seems very strict when it comes to respect. He's so grumpy and he's not even thirty!” Jungkook added and let out a cute chuckle. “I wonder if we could get closer… I don't have any friends at school, so maybe I can have him as a friend. Jimin may be abroad at the moment, but I don't mind. I feel like we could be even closer than being just a tutor and a student.” Jungkook thought in his head and stretched as he made his way to the bathroom.

His thoughts on being good friends with Jimin became such a goal to him; Jungkook himself never imagined something greater than that alone. It was everything to him even if he came up with it a few minutes ago. In his mind, the college student imagined being able to see Jimin in person. He wondered how nice and calm his voice would sound by his ears other than listening right through video chat. Only phone calls and video calls became so little for Jungkook. It was odd for him to feel so passionate towards a friendship that just bloomed after a video chat. Alas, Jungkook didn't know anything of Jimin. Jungkook knew the man went to one of the SKY Universities like he does at the moment, he likes to do business travels along with working on photography. There was still so much he had yet to learn from him and there was still so much Jimin had to learn from the young college student.

Thunder still roared beyond the windows of the small apartment and rain still shot against the steel panes of the clear windows. Jungkook stepped forward into the shower and felt the warm water meet his own skin. After running inside from the rain, he didn't even bother to wash up then. So, he met with Jimin through video chat with his clothes still drenched. As Jungkook stood in the shower, he kept his hands in his hair to scrub the suds and shampoo against his own soft scalp and silk hair. Nothing seemed to come across his own mind until… thunder struck and the light within the bathroom began to flicker.

“It's just the storm….nothing else..” Jungkook whispered to himself and quickly sped through his time within the shower. As he stepped out with a light blue robe over his own body, he listened to the air through the vents power down and the lights suddenly switch off. “Fuck… Why does this always happen to me?” The young man questioned and was quick to move through the halls and reach his bedroom. He hugged the robe wrapped around his body and switched the flashlight on his phone. With the flash of his light shining over the cold floor, lightning beneath the cracks of the window's curtains surfaced as Jungkook's heart began to pound in fear. He didn't mind the dark, but this alone brought him back to when he was running home through the rain since something was following after him.

Thunder clashed at every second and made shivers go down Jungkook's back with every lightning. “There's nothing here..” Jungkook whispered to feel the safety of his own voice around himself. He kept his phone light on and changed into his red briefs along with a white T-shirt loosely over his pale torso. The young man then rubbed the towel over his hair and let out a sigh. Within seconds of the endless hour into the storm, the loud and piercing sound of his ringtone going off caused Jungkook's eyes to widen as he glanced back to see his mother calling. “Why is she calling me at this hour?” Jungkook asked and swiftly brought it up to look at the caller ID a little longer. Without a second wasted after, he answered and was greeted to the safe voice of his mother.

“Jungkook! Are you home? The weather is so scary outside! Please tell me you're not at the study program!” Panicked Jungkook's mother; Mrs. Jeon.

“No, I'm home, Mother… I didn't go but I'm studying now!” Jungkook assured and he could hear his mother chuckle in relief. “And don't worry, I ate something as well so, you don't have to worry about me at all.”

“Ah, but what will I be if I don't worry? I love you so much, Jungkook. Why don't you visit me?”

“Studying hard to be the first family doctor!” Jungkook said and made a fake smile. Being a doctor wasn't what he felt like being, however, he just went through with it since his parents put so much into his tuition surrounding this.

“That's great, Jungkook! But always make time to visit me and your father. We love you so much! There is no such thing as buying another you. You're our one and only Jungkook!”

“You're my one and only mother.” Jungkook laughed happily as he laid back over the bed and let out an exhale.

“Jungkook… Have you locked your doors? I don't trust that grim street you're living in. I only want the best for you… Why don't you move into another apartment, why not one called ‘home'?” Questioned the woman and smiled to herself as she also sat in her own room with her light, mint, silk robe over her white blouse and loose white pajamas. Her hair was fixed into a bun and her round eyes hid behind circular glasses as well. Most of Jungkook's lovely looks came from Mrs. Jeon herself. His eyelashes, his big and round eyes and pale skin came from her and who could miss his pouty and rosy, cloud-like lips? Everything that made Jungkook beautiful was inherited by Mrs. Jeon as his handsome and masculine looks like his eyebrows, his jawline and body frame was from his own father. The Jeon family had youth and riches painted all over them.

“Mother, I'll be fine… I'm going to sleep now, goodnight.”

“Goodnight, Jungkook. Be safe and sleep well.” The Mother worried and wished Jungkook to be safe every night even when the next day would be a sunny day. Perfect weather or not, she was always overprotective over her own son. As Jungkook looked at his phone longer, he set his phone to charge on the nightstand and covered his body under the cool covers of his white bed. His room was filled with clothes thrown over his own rolling chair so carelessly. The only things that stood out were picture frames of him and a girl as his best friend from years ago and his gaming computer sitting over a white desk. Right by his own nightstand where his phone charged, he had lotion, tissues, cologne and a watch he would never use to school. It was just sitting there, collecting dust.

As Jungkook laid in bed, his eyes scanned around once lightning lit up the room in a quick second. His eyes then fell onto the picture of the girl he posed with in the picture frame. This was his best friend and nothing more, but along the way, their friendship fell apart and she went somewhere elsewhere. Leaving Jungkook all alone for freshman year in college. Jungkook didn't hate her or ever thought bad about her. He accepted this and left their friendship at that. But before he could think more about that girl he used to be best friends with, he thought about Jimin. The simple thought came out of nowhere and he let out a giggle.

“ ‘Let's try that again with a more... suitable tone for Mr. Park' Jungkook mimicked the older and let out a sigh. “Maybe… One day I don't need to call him ‘Mr. Park' and then I can call him Jimin! Could he be a friend to me? I need one of those…”

As thoughts and daydreams occupied the boy's mind from the storm, he soon grew sleepy enough and fell fast asleep. Hoping for a new and perfect day with his first lesson with Park Jimin. As Jungkook laid asleep for the night, the lightning flashed and there stood the figure that pursued him in the rainy streets. It stood there for a good minute that felt like hours. The clock on Jungkook's phone showed 4:35 AM in the morning where the figure was only staring at Jungkook longer. With lightning filling the room at that moment, the black outline of the shady figure could be seen at that very moment. Cold and deadly, the stare continued on and just then, the shady figure stepped forward to take a better look over the young man. Keeping posture straight and barely any breathing gestures could be seen. After that, it was just another hour of cold staring as Jungkook was fast asleep.

By the next morning, Jungkook woke up with an ugly feeling as if he was hit over the head and woke up from a deep coma. His eyes locked down over the sharp pain he had on his right arm and slowly rose the sleeve of the shirt up to notice that his shoulder had a mark. As his eyes locked onto the mysterious mark from his point of view, he used the reflection of his own phone to see that the mark was a black (13) in roman numerals labelled over his shoulder. He had no idea where this came from and this alone sent shivers down his own spine. Almost instantly, he began to panic thinking back at the figure that chased him down the street the night prior to this…

“T-Thirteen?” Jungkook panicked and quickly tried to rub the ink off. However, it wasn't until Jungkook noticed that this was a tattoo. The black roman numeral sat over his pale shoulder and he just couldn't take his own eyes off of it. Of course, the tattoo didn't look too bad and he thought it was a good one too, but it scared him even more to know that someone came into his home and gave him this. He had no friends and for sure, he knew his own brother wasn't behind this.

Jungkook glanced over at the time and noticed he had classes in the morning, so he didn't have time to deal with this now. On the other hand, he just knew he couldn't stay in his apartment for one more night. The boy was still shaking and there was a hole carved into his soul from the fear that rose over him. How could anyone get in if the door was still locked and boarded with the chair in front? The door was the only way in and no windows seemed to be harmed at all. This caused Jungkook to feel the need to report this. On the other hand, no other signs of robbery was shown. Everything was in place and the only difference was an anonymous tattoo over his own shoulder. Yet, Jungkook just didn't understand what it meant.

The boy set things aside to deal with it all in a safer place after his morning classes. As the young man turned the TV on in his room to watch the morning news, his eyes focused onto the breaking news of the early morning.

“Breaking News! There has been about three people now from around the city disappearing from Seoul for about forty-eight hours already. There still hasn't been any sign of them and today marks a young, female college student, missing ever since the night before. It seems to be about teenagers to young adults missing here and there. If you have any information on anyone, please report to a nearby police station or call the number below. Further information will be given on the afternoon session of the news if anything changes. This is your number one news station at eight forty-six in the morning, Seoul Today News live.”

As Jungkook watched the early session of the news, goosebumps arose from his skin along with a cold shiver running down the knobs of his spine. It was only now that he realized a cold atmosphere swarming around him after watching the bone-chilling news over the morning broadcast. Jungkook hugged himself silently, feeling paranoid; goosebumps over his pale skin, and a piercing sensation of someone or something… Watching him from a distance.
