This is the epilougue. It's not great but it's all I could think of so enjoy. It's not very long either..

Jace’s P.O.V-

‘Aiden, hurry up!’ I shouted. He was taking so long to get ready, we were only going out for dinner.

‘Yeah, 2 seconds’ He called back. I sighed while I held Mia, my 1 year old daughter, in my arms.

Eventually, he walked out and my breath caught in my throat. He looked amazing as always but this still happened every time I saw him. He was seriously beautiful. I grinned at him and he walked over and pecked my lips. I quickly pushed him out of the door and locked it behind me. Aiden took Mia from me and strapped her into the car as I got into the drivers seat.

8 years had gone by. It went so fast but life was great. Aiden and I had gotten married 4 years ago, it was an amazing day. Everything had gone brilliantly at it, we only invited our close family and friends. We had decided we would get married at one point, well actually it was Aiden’s idea. I was all for it obviously. I was still so in love with him as he was with me. People ask how we stayed together this long but I don’t understand. We love each other is the answer. It’s simple.

We had adopted Mia just under a year ago. Her mother had died at birth and there was no one to look after her so we quickly agreed to it. We were so excited for her to become part of our little family. She’s such a happy child and I love her with all my heart. Aiden’s a great father, you would never think it but he is. Mia has big green eyes and brown hair. She’s beautiful.

Life had worked out so well for me. I never ever thought I would start dating Aiden in the beginning and now look at us, it’s great. He was the bad boy. The one that fought and didn’t care about anything and after everything we’ve been through, we’re still going strong. Aiden was working as a teacher in the local high school which might sound surprising but he was a really good teacher. When he told me he wanted to be a teacher, I was shocked to say the least. I didn’t expect it. I worked as a writer and had wrote a couple of books. We both made good amounts of money which allowed us to have nice things like a nice house, cars and anything else we wanted. We were grateful for what we had, especially our daughter.

Over the years, my father had moved on from my mother. She would have wanted it that way anyway. He started dating again and is now married again to a lovely woman called Amanda. She’s great for him and they love each other a lot. She’s completely accepting of Aiden and I’s lifestyle. Funnily enough, she happens to be Jacobs mom. It’s a small world and now Jacob and I are considered stepbrothers.

Jacob and Cara were still together as were Mason and Ella. Not many high school relationships work but we must have been exceptions. Jacob had proposed to Cara and they were now happily married with a little boy called Jack. Mason and Ella were engaged at the moment and were due to get married next year. It’s weird how we all managed to stay friends with each other as well as stay in our relationships so long. I don’t even plan on breaking up with Aiden. We’re together forever.

We were on our way to a nice restaurant for dinner with Jacob, Cara, their kids and Mason and Ella. We were always going out somewhere with them to catch up, it’s just the same as high school really and I loved it. We had all become so close and I wasn’t as shy anymore. I thought of them all as my best friends now.

We arrived at the restaurant and the waiter took us to our table which was filled with all our friends. After greeting each other with hugs, we ordered and started chatting like usual. Finding out what’s new in each others lives. Jacob and Cara announced that they were expecting another child and it was to be a girl. I was so excited for them. It was a great surprise. 

Once dinner was over, everyone said their goodbyes and made their way to their cars. When we reached home, Mia had fallen asleep so Aiden carefully lifted her from the seat and took her to her bed while I went to my own bedroom. I got ready for bed and lay down in it, waiting on Aiden. When he came in the room, after having a quick shower he lay down beside me. I turned around and cuddled into him as he put his arm around me and pulled me close. These were the moments I loved.

‘I love you’ I told him sincerely.

‘I love you too’ He replied back and that was enough for me to drift asleep.
