Here's another update!

I don't know when I'll update next, I've been pretty busy but I'll do it as soon as I can. Hope you enjoy this chapter. I now have over 10,000 reads on this story, how that happened I'll never know...

Jace’s P.O.V-

Today was Aiden’s birthday. I set my alarm so I would wake up before him. I wanted to make him some breakfast to surprise him. We were going out for dinner later on to one of the fancy restaurants that was around here, I had already booked it a few days ago. My plan for today was to make Aiden breakfast and give him his presents. After this and after we get dressed, Were going to go to the amusement park that’s not far from here. It looks amazing and I’m sure he’ll enjoy it. Then, we’ll go for dinner and just do whatever we end up doing after that.

I quickly turned the alarm off so it didn’t wake up Aiden. I looked at him to make sure he was still sleeping, he didn’t move. I was facing him and he had his arm around me. I admired him as he slept, he looked so peaceful. He really was perfect. His dark hair fell nicely around his face even when he was sleeping. I could hear his steady breathing as well. How I got someone so perfect, I’ll never know.

I carefully removed his arm from around me and placed it on the bed, carefully not to wake him. He turned around and snuggled into the pillow. I went to the kitchen and got started on some breakfast for him. When I was done, I carried it upstairs to the bedroom and sat on the bed. I nudged Aiden and he barely moved. I sat the plate of food on the beside table and shook him. He just mumbled something and still didn’t wake up.

‘Aiden, wake up’ I said.

He groaned and tried to turn around again but I held him in place and placed a kiss on his lips. There was no response for a few seconds but then he started to kiss back, I pulled away and he whined out of complaint. I told him to sit up and handed him the plate of breakfast.

‘I made breakfast for you. Happy Birthday’

‘You didn’t have to do that! Thank you, I love you’ He said smiling at me.

‘I love you too, now eat so I can give you your presents’

He started to complain about how this was all too much and that me taking him to the beach house was enough but I just told him to be quiet and eat. It wasn’t too much. It wasn’t enough, I thought. When Aiden was finished his food, I went to my bag and rummaged around until I found his presents. 

Yesterday, when we were walking through the little town, I found a shop that sold bracelets. I found ones that had initials on them. I thought it would be nice to give him one with a ‘J’ on it and I got one for me with an ‘A’ on it. It sounds a little cheesy but I liked them. I grabbed the bracelets and the photo I had gotten printed for him. I gave him to photo frame first. He unwrapped it and smiled softly at the photo of us. I loved that photo, it was my favourite one. 

‘I love it’ He said simply. 

I handed him the little bag with his bracelet in it. I was already wearing the one with his initial. He pulled it out of the bag and stared at it. He had a blank look on his face then when he saw the initial, his face lit up. He caught sight of the bracelet with his initial on my wrist and pulled me towards him by my wrist. He admired it for a moment then brought his face to mine and captured my lips in a slow kiss. I relaxed into it and he pulled away. We smiled at each other and it was enough to show how much we loved one another.

I had sent Aiden to take a shower while I got dressed. I had already showered when I got up this morning. I picked out my clothes and put them on. I was in the middle of fixing my hair when Aiden came back into the room with just a towel around his waist. Just a towel. His body looked so good. I didn’t realise I was staring until I caught his eyes. I quickly turned around and continued fixing my hair, trying to fight off the blush that was rising. Aiden chuckled a bit then came over and kiss my cheek before going back to get changed. I shouldn’t still get embarrassed and nervous around him since we’ve been going out for a while but I did and I couldn’t help it. 

We hadn’t done anything intimate yet. I know it doesn’t bother Aiden at all but it was starting to bother me. I wanted to get even closer to him and this was a way to do that. I was hoping tonight after dinner, we would see where the night takes us and hopefully it takes us there. I was excited for it but also pretty nervous. I had never been with anyone like that before and I know Aiden has a reputation for it, so I know he’s experienced. That’s one of the reasons that I’m worried. I hadn’t spoke to Aiden about this but I’m sure he would understand.

Anyway, that’s what I want to happen later on. Right now, I’m extremely excited for the amusement park we’re going to. It’s only about 15 minutes away from the house. I had recovered from my embarrassment and was waiting downstairs for Aiden who was taking his time. He always takes forever to get ready. He’s worse than a girl.

‘Aiden, hurry up!’ I shouted upstairs. I heard footsteps coming down the stairs and Aiden appeared with a smirk on his face.

‘Yeah, yeah. I’m ready’ I just let out a puff of air and walked out to the car, getting in the drivers seat. Aiden followed me and got in the passenger seat.

‘What are we doing anyway?’ He asked.

‘We’re going to the amusement park and then out for dinner’ I told him with a smile. 

He just stared at me with a look of disbelief. I knew he was going to try and object to it all so I put my hand up to stop him talking when he opened his mouth. I started the car and he huffed but still didn’t say anything. I started to drive to the amusement park and after 15 minutes, we were there. I think I was more exited than Aiden. I was a big kid inside and loved this kind of stuff. Aiden just laughed at me as he took in my excitement.

‘C’mon’ I said cheerily, grabbing his hand and pulling him towards the entrance. 

I bought the tickets after a small disagreement on who should pay. Obviously I wanted to since it was my treat for his birthday. I wasn’t going to let him pay and he finally got that after 5 minutes of me continuously saying no to him. We got our wristbands and walked into the main part of the park. It was huge! It was full of rides, games and food stalls. I immediately spotted a rollercoaster that I wanted to go on but tried to keep my excitement at bay because it was Aiden’s birthday and his choice of ride.

‘What first?’ I asked him while looking at the rollercoaster.

‘Let’s go on that one since you can’t contain your excitement’ He said amused while pointed to rollercoaster. 

He dragged me to the queue and we waited. It was separate carriages that fitted two people each. We sat side by side and I grabbed his hand and squeezed it. The ride started and it was amazing. After that one, we must have went on almost every single ride that was in the park. In the middle of them all, we decided to stop and get some food and let it settle before going back on any. 

Once we had been on most of the rides, I dragged Aiden over to the game stall where you need to knock down the cans and you can win a teddy. I made Aiden play it so I could get a teddy. He used the three balls provided and made it look easy. I just stared at him in awe as he handed me the teddy. I held it in one arm and placed my other hand in his. 

We went onto the ferris wheel last. I made sure to do go on it last because by now, it was darker and the view would be amazing. My predictions were definitely correct. When we reached the top and looked over the city, it looked amazing. There were hundreds of lights and the sun was just setting. I snuggled up to Aiden, who placed his arm around me.

‘This is amazing’ I told him while staring at the sea of lights.

‘It is. Thanks for everything, it’s been the best birthday’ I smiled brightly at him and kissed him. He seemed surprised since it’s usually him who initiates the kisses but he still kissed back.

‘I love you’ I felt like I told him this too much but I really meant it and I wanted him to know.

‘I love you too’ We just smiled at each other and I couldn’t believe that he was my boyfriend. 

When the ride on the ferris wheel ended, we walked back to the car a little exhausted as our excitement faded away. I told Aiden that we were going to the for some dinner and when I told him which restaurant it was, I could tell he wanted to protest. It was a pretty expensive place but I had saved up for a while and it was already booked so he just let it go and said thanks. We arrived and I parked the car. I met Aiden at the front of the car and held his hand as we walked in. 

‘I booked a table for two under Jackson’ I said to the hostess of the restaurant.

‘Yes, follow me please’ We did as she asked and reached our table. 

She took our drink orders and said she would come back for our food orders. She came back with our drinks and asked if we had decided what we wanted. We had so we repeated it to the waitress who was serving us. She seemed very nice. We waited a short time and were presented with our food that looked very yummy. It tasted great and Aiden seemed to be enjoying his too. I looked around the restaurant and took in my surroundings. It was decorated very nicely and looked like an expensive place. I was glad that I had started saving a while back. 

Once we were finished our dinner, we got desert which was equally delicious as the food. Aiden and I spoke about everything. We pretty much knew everything about each other anyway but it was nice to talk. I loved talking to him and just being around him really. I literally felt lost without him.

After a good amount of talking and laughing, we decided to go back home. I paid for the dinner and left a bit of a tip for the nice waitress. Aiden once again tried to pay something towards it but I insisted and he got the message. We got back into the car and started driving back to the beach house.

I had bought him a birthday cake since no birthday was complete without one and left it in the kitchen of the house. I was going to give him it when we got back. I figured after that we could just watch some TV for a while unless something happened, which I was nervous for but I wouldn’t show it.

As soon as we got back, I ran to the kitchen and told Aiden to sit on the sofa. I lit a few candles and brought the cake to him. When he spotted me he smiled and started laughing slightly. I brought it to his face so he could blow out the candles.

‘Make a wish’ He done as I said and blew out the candles.

 I went back to the kitchen and cut some of the cake to put on plates. I gave Aiden his slice and sat on the sofa next to him with mine. It was delicious and I placed my plate on the table when I was done. Aiden done the same with his and when I looked at him, I laughed. He had a bit of icing on his lip and when he realised, he went to wipe it with his hand but I stopped him and kissed him, taking the icing away while I done it. 

He went to pull away but I didn’t let him and captured his lips once more, kissing him passionately. He kissed back just as much and I ended up lying on the couch with him hovering above me, still kissing. He put his weight on me and continued kissing me. I knew where this was going but I didn’t want to stop. I wanted to keep going and that excited me. Aiden must have felt my excitement because he pulled away and rested his forehead on mine. His eyes were full of questioning before he spoke.

‘Are you sure you want to do this?’ He asked me.

I could tell he was hesitant but when I nodded, he gave me one last look which told me he wanted this as much as I did before kissing me again. Somehow, we ended up in the bedroom and my emotions were high. I kissed him with so much passion, just to show how much I loved him. The night continued from there and it was great...
