A few days went by and Emma still had not shown or told Delilah about the recording. She was nervous but she needed to do something quick. She knew Miguel and Savannah couldn't stay at her house forever. Juan and Isabella also wanted an answer. Cyn has just left for work and now she was alone with Delilah. Who was actually starting to come around. She wasn't exactly a spot of sunshine but she started smiling a little more. She started opening up to Emma about how she was feeling and how that night screwed up her head. How awful it felt to have such an important chunk of her memory missing. She felt robbed. That made sitting on the security footage even worse for Emma.

"Delilah, I have something I have to tell you. You should sit down." Emma ran her hands through her hair trying to self soothe.

Delilah dried her hands on the dish towel and sat at the dinning room table. She wasn't sure what was going on but she was ready to listen. "Yes?"

Emma had prepared a monologue for this very moment. She was supposed to tell Delilah that she would do anything for her. She was going to tell her that her family only had her best interest at heart. There was supposed to be an opening statement, a body of reasons as to how they got here, and closing remarks. Emma had it all planned out but when it was time to talk she froze.

"Em?" Delilah said. "What's wrong?"

"I have to show you something." That was all Emma could say. She got the disc from it's hiding spot in her favorite box of cereal. She knew Delilah wouldn't go near the sugary snack.

"What is that and why were you hiding it?" Delilah asked.

Emma just extended her hand for Delilah to hold. She did and followed Emma into the living room. Emma put the DVD on and sat beside Delilah. "It's the security tape from the club the night of..." Emma's voice trailed off.

Delilah was so confused. How long had Emma had this? Why was she just not showing her? Had she already seen it?

"I can go if you don't want me to see it or I can stay. It's up to you, Delilah."

Delilah didn't say anything but she grabbed Emma's hand. Emma took that as her wanting her to stay. So she did. Emma fast forwarded the recording until she saw Savannah walk into the frame. Delilah wasn't with her. It was a pretty isolated spot in the club. There were a few people hanging around but not many. Savannah walked out of the camera's view. When she came back Delilah was with her. She was drinking something. Savannah tried to get close to Delilah's face but Delilah playfully pushed her away. The video had no audio but it looks like Delilah laughed before sitting down on the plush couch.

"I remember this part. I was telling her I was starting to feel weird." Delilah said. "I think."

Emma nodded. She stayed quiet because she was growing infuriated all over again. She was trying to hide it. They kept watching. Savannah tried to make another move on Delilah but she stood up or at least she tried to. It was clear from the video she was unsteady. She stumbled back onto the couch. Savannah started kissing her lips. Delilah tried to push her away but she couldn't. She wasn't strong enough in the moment.

Emma could see Delilah getting fidgety. She paused the tape. "We can turn it off, babe. We don't have to watch this now or ever."

Delilah had tears in her eyes. "No. Let it play." She wanted to remember so badly she didn't care if it made her sick to her stomach. She was determined to watch the video in it's entirety.

"Are you sure?"

"Just play it!" Delilah said angrily.

Emma didn't take it personally. She couldn't imagine all the emotions Delilah was feeling. She pressed play and let the rest of the scene unfold before their eyes.

Delilah watched in horror. It was worse than scary movie she had ever seen because it was real. It was her. She wanted to scream at the person on the screen. She wanted to tell her to run. To fight back. To do something.... just don't be an idiot, don't be weak. Delilah couldn't bear the thought that she the weak woman in this movie. It was her.

At one point it seemed as though Delilah was completely passed out. Emma didn't understand why the bitch didn't just stop there. Finally, after minutes of nauseating footage, the horrid act was over. Savannah actually left Delilah there. Someone checked on Delilah and got her to wake up.

"Do you know her or remember her?" Emma asked. Delilah shook her head no.

On the recording Delilah looks around before getting her phone. She stands up with the stranger woman's help and slowly and unsteadily walks away out of the view of the camera. That must of been when she called Emma.

Delilah stood up and grabbed her keys. She was on a war path to get her shoes and a jacket.

"Babe, what are you doing? Where are you going?" Emma asked.

"To report Savannah. She has to pay for what she did. She humiliated me! She took something that was mine to give. She took away my choice and my fucking peace of mind. She needs to pay before she does this to someone else. She can't get away with this." Delilah was crying but she wasn't necessarily sad. She was angry. Livid or irate may actually be better words to describe how she felt. Her whole body was burning with an unquenchable fever.

Emma recognized the look in her eyes. It's what she felt too. That rage and fury. That need to be able to control something. Just one thing. "Okay but we need to talk first."
