Karen's POV

"Karen, are you okay?" My twin Austin asked.

"Just fucking peachy." I replied through gritted teeth.

"No, you aren't. What's wrong? You can talk to me you know?" He replied.

"I know it's just hard to explain." I replied sighing.

He ran his fingers through his hair and sighed.

"I'm here if you need me." He told me.

I nodded and I walked to the game room.

"Karen!"

I laughed and saw Jenny run towards me. I picked her up and swung her around.

"How are you little chick?" I asked.

"I lost my front teeth yesterday, look!" She said showing me the holes in her mouth.

"You're getting big on me munchkin."

She giggled nodding and she got down and ran to the living room. My mate walked into the kitchen, not looking at me.

"Hey." I said.

She ignored me and grabbed some bacon that was out for the pack members.

"Hey Rachel." Austin greeted.

She smiled weakly and Austin started to walk over to her.

The way that she looks at my brother with loving eyes, is pissing me off because it should be me she's doing that with.

I growled loudly and Rachel jumped.

"Karen, what's wrong?" Austin asked.

I felt my wolf trying to come out and I walked away and got outside to run. I shifted on the spot and wasted no time taking my clothes off.

That fucking asshole touched her. She loves him and not me. My own mate hates me because I'm a girl.
