Karen's POV

After two hours of running, I came back and walked to my room and shifted back to a human. Rachel was sitting on my bed and she screamed. I rolled my eyes and said, "Shut up, stop screaming already." I put my robe on and sat in my chair.

She stopped and said, "I was waiting on you to come back."

My wolf purred but I was still pissed off at her. "Why?"

"I felt bad for how I treated you this morning."

"Whatever." I replied.

"Karen,"

"No, you fucking don't deserve my kindness." I snapped.

She looked upset and my wolf growled out me for being mean to her.

"I'm sorry." She whispered.

"I don't care." I replied.

"Karen, I'm really sorry for ignoring you." She whispered.

"I don't want your fucking sympathy! I want my mate, not this rude bitch!" I yelled.

She started crying and said, "I'm scared."

"And you don't think I am?" I asked.

She opened her mouth and closed it.

I walked over to my closet and pulled out a black crop top and jean shorts and a bra and underwear.

"Get out." I told her.

Her tears are falling more and she stormed out of my room.

I sighed out and walked to my bathroom and showered. I put on eyeliner and mascara and red lipstick.

I walked downstairs and saw Rachel talking to Colton.

"Hey guys." I said walking to them.

"Finally you're back." Colton said kissing my cheek. I giggled and Rachel let out a growl.

I smirked and Colton looked at her confused.

"I missed you Colty." I said holding onto his arm.

He smirked and Rachel looked pissed off. "My mom is calling me." She said.

I smirked and I said bye. I looked at Colton and said, "I wanna pick up where we left off."

He smirked and grabbed my hand and kissed it.

"Anything for you Karen." He replied.

I giggled and kissed him.

"Karen's here!" Someone yelled.

I broke apart from Colton and saw Taylor walking to me along with Roxanne, his mate and my bff.

"You don't look tired anymore." Roxanne pointed out smirking.

I blushed and Colton chuckled kissing my cheek.

"Have you guys seen the new girl? She's really funny." Taylor said.

"I haven't met her yet." Roxanne replied.

"She's gorgeous." Austin replied.

"Of course you think that, you like her." Taylor replied.

I bit my lip hard and I clenched my fists.

"Karen? You okay?" Roxanne asked.

"Yeah." I replied.

She nodded and Colton kissed my cheek. I smiled and I walked to the kitchen.

"My twin senses are tingling right now." Austin said.

I jumped and turned around. "Your what?"

Karen, come here.

"I have to go." I told Austin sighing.

He nodded knowing it was our father.

I walked to my dad's office in the pack house and I walked in and saw Rachel with her family.

"Karen, this is Rian, his mate Cassadee and their children, Rachel and Michael." My dad said.

"Hello." I replied waving.

My eyes stayed on Rachel and she was looking down.

"Rian was the beta over at the Red Claw pack."

"I can feel the authority aura." I said.

Rian laughed and said, "It should be going away, I'm just a regular pack member."

"My dad should put you at some high rank. You're really cool."

"Karen is going to be the alpha assistant to Austin, my son."

"I've been trying to be alpha but Austin is gonna get it."

"Don't worry, you'll still be alpha." Michael replied.

I smiled and Rachel stood up, "If you don't mind, I would like to go out and train."

"I'll help you out." I told her.

"Karen is one of our best female fighters." My dad said.

"Don't worry love, I won't go too hard on you." I winked at her.

She blushed and I walked out, brushing my arm against hers.

I went to my room and changed my bra into a sports bra and my shorts into running shorts. Rachel knocked on my door and I opened it to find her in volleyball shorts and a half shirt.

"Let's get this over with." She grumbled looking down.

I smirked and walked to the training room.
