《Two Wastes of Space- J.C》Facing Reality

I could barely face getting out of bed. Today was the second anniversary of my dad's death, and I hadn't talked to Cook for days. I looked out my window, and it was a bleak day. All I could see was the rain droplets on the window.

"Come on, Bri. I made breakfast," Katie said, trying anything she could to get me out of bed. She knew what day it was for me and that I've been feeling down lately. So she came over and took action.

"Alright, I have to go help my mom with her job. I love you. Take care of yourself, babes," she said, hugging me as she grabbed her bag from the counter.

"I love you too. Thank you for making breakfast, Katie Kins," I said. I watched as she left, and just as she closed the door, my phone vibrated.

"Can I come over now? I want to talk,"- Effy.

"Sure."
