That night, the gang and I waited outside to get into a party. Effy and I were suspicious about Emily and Naomi's relationship. We talked to Naomi about it, but she insisted she was straight.

"No, you're not. That's a total lie," I chuckled.

"If I say no, will I regret it?"

"Maybe, but not because you told us," Effy said before she suggested we all get fucked up. But then. we saw Katie and Freddie together, and Effy couldn't take her eyes off him.

"Oh my god, no way!" Naomi said.

"What?"

"That's fucked up," I said.

"WHAT?"

"You love him!" Naomi said.

"No," Effy denied.

"Come on, yes you do. Admit it," I said, but she wouldn't.

Thomas found us all and let us in except for Emily, who was already inside. Everything was going smoothly until Cook got into a heated fight on the dancefloor. I helped Freddie and JJ get him outside, and I found out that he was under the influence of JJ's prescription drugs. Thomas came out as well to see what was going on.

"You know, I love Eff, but she doesn't love me at all. She loves you, Freds," Cook said.

"What? JJ, what is he talking about?" Freddie said.

"It hurts, she's taking a piss. I've got nothing, but Cookie needs love. That's why I popped Panda Panda's popped," he said. I was calm because I knew about all of this. But Thomas? Thomas was beyond furious.

"He doesn't deserve friends. Such a cunt! Move!" Thomas said.

I sighed and rubbed my eyes. So much shit was going on, and the very thing that I wanted not to happen to our friend group was happening. And it was all over some girl who couldn't choose between two boys. I couldn't help but be mad at her, she loved Freddie while she fucked Cook. It was a very selfish thing to do.

Not wanting to be there anymore, I walked off and went home. I got four texts from Effy asking me what's going on or where I went, but I didn't answer. I just took a shower and ended up crying myself to sleep. I was feeling so many emotions. Why couldn't things be simpler?
