"Sid? Oh my god!" I said.
I ran up to Sid and hugged him as I started to cry out of pure happiness. I hadn't seen him in almost six months, and I missed him more than anything.
"How's my sis doing? Why are you wearing that?" Sid said, referring to the hideous pajamas that Panda gave me.
"Pyjama party. When did you get back? Does mom know you're back?" I said, wiping my tears away. I had so many questions for him at once.
"Yea, she's asleep right now. I just got back an hour ago, and I'm extremely jet-lagged. I'll explain everything in the morning. I promise," he said. So, I went to sleep. In the morning, I offered to make Sid a big breakfast, to which he accepted.
"So, is everything ok back in New York?" I said.
Sid looked up from his food.
"Well, that's why I came back. Cass and I broke up two weeks ago. So, I used the money I earned from my job to fly back home," he said, leaving me shocked.
"What happened? Is Cassie still in New York?"
"Yea, she's still in New York. The relationship just wasn't working out, you know?" he said.
"Yea. I see," I said. Sid and Cassie had good chemistry and all, but I never saw their relationship as long-lasting.
Just as I sipped my coffee, Effy came in, and she looked rather distraught.
"Oh, hey Eff," Sid said, "Good to see you."
"Hey, Sid," she gave him a soft smile.
"Eff, what's up? What's with the dismal look?" I said.
"Panda's just popped her cherry," she said. My eyes were wide open. I seemed to miss a whole chapter.

"With who?" I said.
"Cook," she said.
"What? Uh, speak fucking English, please?" I said because Effy wasn't making any sense.
"I went to her house this morning, only to find Cook coming out of her house. They seemed awful- friendly," she said.
"Oh. Well, do you want me to do something about it?" I said.
"No. What can you do? Also, the story gets even better."
"Really? Do tell," I said, munching on my piece of toast.
"Thomas is back."
"NO! Wait, you saw him?" I said, covering my mouth with my hand.
"Yea. Right after Cook left, he came running up to us," Effy said.
"Shit."
I kinda felt bad for Pandora, but not really. My biggest question was, why did Pandora do it with Cook? Or why did HE want to do it with- HER?
Panda was a child and a rather annoying and unattractive one at that. I felt so numb and- upset?
I didn't know what I felt, but I needed to get over it. Because no way was I going to end up falling for that pig.

Awakening
This story was previously known as "The Awakening".~*~"One... two... three... one... two... three... a million... is that number right?" A figure less voice echoed."Hello? Who's there?" Caliope asked, focusing on that voice."One... two... who? A million... a billion... no, it's more... a legion..."Silence. She had seen too many horror movies and heard too many stories about that single word to overpass its meaning. The voice went quiet, yet she was still unable to see where it came from. She rubbed her eyes and all she could see around her was a thick path in a jungle-like scene. She didn't remember how she got there, but she knew it was for something important. Her eyes focused on the far end of the path and all she could see were more trees. She turned to the opposite side and found just the same."One... two... billions... but always back at one..." the voice resumed it's counting."Where are you?
