A week passed like a breeze and now Aderi will be coming back to the house Callista.
"Please...report to us if he hurts you again dear," Aderi's grandmother said with a worried look on her face as she linked arms with Aderi.
"I will, thank you, grandma and grandpa," Aderi said smiling, her grandma and grandpa gave a small smile as they stopped walking.
She quickly felt safe and warm toward Aderi's grandparents. For the first time, she felt safe in someone's company.
"Take this, it's a little gift, I thought it would be appropriate to give this to you, now that you accept your face," Aderi's grandmother said as she pulled out a small necklace.
"What is it?" Aderi asked as her grandmother put the necklace in Aderi's palm.
"It's a locket with a picture of your mother in it," Aderi's grandmother said with a smile. Aderi opened the locket and she saw a beautiful woman who was sitting, behind her were trees.
"Wow...she looks so beautiful," Aderi said amazed, in the novel no pictures were given, so it's the first time Aria will see what Aderi's mother looks like.
----
The woman really looks like Aderi, the only different thing is, Aderi's mother has a bit more pink in her eyes, while Aderi's eyes are closest to red.
Due to duke Callista's blood, Aderi's eyes are redder, since duke Callista has red eyes.
----
"What's this engrave in the locket grandma?" Aderi asked as she noticed a carving outside the locket after she closed it.
"Ah, it's her initials!" Her grandmother answered excitedly.
"Look here, vjlc, it stands for Veronica Jean Lacita Callista!" Her grandmother said happily. Aderi nodded. In the novel, the parents of Aderi were just mentioned as 'Duke Callista ' 'Duchess Callista ' 'Aderi's mother' ' Aderi's father '. So for Aria, this is another piece of important information.

"Grandma, why does my father hate me?" Aderi asked, her grandmother sighed.
"He lacks common sense, how can he blame a mere child for the death of his wife?" her grandfather said disappointed.
"He loves Veronica so much, that's probably why...Probably seeing you brings him pain" Her grandmother answered. Aderi doesn't know how to answer so she just nodded.
"I've stalled you enough dear, go on, the carriage is already waiting," her grandmother said with a smile. Aderi smiled back and nodded.
°
Aderi was helped to the carriage by the courier.
"Send us a letter if you need anything," her grandfather said with a smile on his face, Aderi nodded.
"I will! Thank you grandma and grandpa for letting me stay here" Aderi smiled, and both of his grandparents nodded with a smile.
"No problem, dear, get ongoing now," her grandmother said, Aderi smiled and nodded. The door to the carriage closed and soon after, the carriage took off.

After Aderi arrive home she was greeted by her father.
"Tsk, I hope you didn't come back," her father said as soon as Aderi got off the carriage.
"I wished for the same thing, but due to the kingdom rules I need to come back," Aderi replied. Another 'tsk' can be heard from Aderi's father.
"If you'll excuse me duke Callista, I'll go back to my room," Aderi said as she did a curtsy.
Aderi's father's eyes widen due to two things. His daughter called him 'duke' again instead of 'father' and secondly, he saw something on Aderi's neck.
Aderi started walking but got pulled back by his father.
"HOLD ON!" Aderi's father said, he then pulled the locket from Aderi's neck making the lock snap, it didn't hurt that much but Aderi held her neck due to the pain. He then started inspecting it.

"YOU! WHY DO YOU HAVE THIS!" her father asked with anger all written on his face, Aderi pulled the locket back.
"My grandmother gave me this, this locket belonged to my mother before" Aderi answered with a glare.
"You aren't supposed to have that! Give it to me!" Her father said pointing at the locket.
"My grandmother gave me this. And as the daughter of the deceased Duchess Veronica, I have the right to keep this. Duchess Lacita, the mother of Duchess Veronica is the one who authorized me on keeping this, so I see no right for you to take this!" Aderi said as held the locket tight.
"Y-YOU!" Her father said, but he can't seem to follow it with any words, since he knows that aderi has a point.
"JUST GO BACK TO YOUR ROOM!" Her father yelled, Aderi rolled her eyes before walking away.

Evening rolled fast and Aderi was sitting on her bed looking at the locket.
"If I didn't put this on my neck while on the carriage ride he wouldn't have seen this, why does he even want this?" Aderi asked herself, this question has been lingering in her mind since it happened.
Aderi jolted up when she heard a knock on her balcony door. She immediately turned around at the window.
"Cael!" Aderi said shocked, the boy took off his hood and looked at Aderi with a smile.
Aderi quickly ran to the door and opened it, the cold evening wind blew Aderi's hair after she opened the window.
"Welcome back" Cael greeted with a smile, Aderi also smiled and nodded.
"I saw your letter," Cael said as he lifted his right hand that was holding the letter.
"I'm glad that you're the one who read it" Aderi smiled as she looked at the letter in Cael's hand.
"Did you enjoy your trip?" Cael asked Aderi. Aderi nodded with a smile.
"Yes, yes I did!" Aderi said as she followed it with a giggle.
"I'm glad," Cael said with a smile.
"How about you? How have you been?" Aderi asked, Cael smiled.
"It was rather...fine, though I couldn't say it is great, although you don't need to be concerned," Cael said with a smile. Aderi's face was now full of worry and Cael laughed before patting her head.
"I'm fine, Ade" Cael said with a smile, Aderi's eyes widened.
Ade...Cael called her Ade, it's a nickname she has now received.
"Welcome back, Ade" Cael said smiling again, Aderi's shocked face turned into a bright smile.
"Yes! Yes, I'm back, Cael!" Aderi said with a smile as both of them giggled.
----
The night of their reunion has now ended, tomorrow will be a new day and a new challenge for the both of them.

The Helena Chronicles
Espers are really no different than humans; they look like any normal human and in general behave like any normal human. However, there are a few key differences. The max life expectancy of espers ranges from forty-five to fifty. They naturally have a knack for mathematics and are extremely intelligent in general, this is because their abilities rely on the subconscious and conscious calculations. They also have a mysterious energy source they call Focus that is generated naturally by all espers. The continent of Elestveeve is populated by three major factions, each a governing force. On the west of the continent, there is the Noble Houses that subscribe to the Deity Faith. The Houses ruling with the Deity Faith as council since the religion's founding four-hundred years previous. Controlling most of the northeast is WITCH, an organization ruled by powerful espers; claiming the mysterious Genesis as their capital, they are a whispered myth among much of the continent's less technically advanced residents. In the southeast you have Tech City, a towering monolith of a capital with four sky layers and metropolis' leveled deep underground; it is a city brimming with technical advancement and cyber integration. Each faction contends with one another for their evolutionary ideology, by devout religious worship to receive miraculous gifts, unique genetic lineage to obtain ESP, and technological integration to become something more than human. Helena, a young genius and esper, awakes in a dark room with only fuzzy memories and the company of seven other children. She must determine how she got there and how to get back to where she came from. Warning: Due to time constraints, I don't have the time to keep up on my three stories; therefore, Helena will need to go in a stasis chamber until I can find more time to write between work and life. I love my first girl so much! however, it seems she is the least popular among the fans (the poor girl T_T). This world is much bigger than my other two novels and I'm not giving up on it, but simply having to put her on ice.
