Ares was taking her time putting back her clothes, to say that she was enjoying have Nik in such a vulnerable position was an understatement, but her fun was soon over.
The sound of doors banging immediately put her on edge and she quickly freed her husband, watching his furious gaze turning into a concerned one once he saw the look of her face.
He was about to ask her what was going on when she placed a finger in front of her lips, not sparing him a glance as she made twin daggers appear in her hands.
The daggers were golden with a red snake curled around each handle and the blade was longer than the ones he had seen and the metal seemed to turn a hot orange as she manipulated the fire to sharpen it.
Standing beside the empty place where their door was supposed to be, Ares leaned her body against the wall, not moving a single muscle, until a woman walked in.
The goddess immediately slammed her hand against the woman's mouth, drowning out her screams, before one of her daggers pierced the blonde's neck.
One down.
Niklaus stood beside her as they walked carefully through the corridor, eyes wide in alert as it suddenly got too silent for their liking.
Ares suddenly backflipped, missing a flying arrow that was sent to her head, and while she was upside down, she held the arrow between both feet, using the impulse to send it back with incredible power.
As she stood on her feet, another person went behind her back, but he was quickly killed by the original hybrid, who didn't hesitate even for a second before he took his heart out decapitated his head.
Ares smirked at this, making her husband shrug as he licked the blood off his fingers.

"What? I didn't know if there was a special way to kill them, guess it's a little difficult to stand back if they don't have a heart nor a head"
They kept walking and fighting off the demigods as Ares desperately looked for her best friend, who wasn't in the room she had been anymore.
"Looking for someone, Ares?" The voice sounded out as soon as Ares got to the first floor, making the goddess tense up as her fury red irises met the cold blue ones of Athena, who was holding a sword to Eris's throat.
"You should know better than anyone what happens when someone makes me angry" Ares hissed, taking a step closer, only to see the blood that was now flowing from her friends' skin, the golden color painting the silver sword of the goddess of wisdom.
"And you should know better than anyone that your threats don't scare me, dear sister" Athena spoke with superiority, making Ares clench her jaw as the rage started to boil inside of her body.
Those cold blue eyes met the man that had taken a supportive step towards his wife, it was as if he could feel how she was about to explode, or maybe it was the sudden heat that was hovering near her.
"Ah and you must be the poor soul that has taken a liken into this... demon" Athena spat in disgust, narrowing her eyes at Ares who was now glaring emotionlessly at the ground.
"You should run while you can, child... only we know how much disgrace she brings to those around her" Athena continued, fighting a smirk as the demigod's fell to the ground, clutching their throats as the warrior's bloodlust started to play with their mind.
"I mean, it's not entirely her fault, do you see? She can't even control it!" Athena laughed mockingly, tightening the hold she had on Eris, whose skin was turning hotter and hotter, seeming in synchrony with Ares' rage.

"What about a deal? Give me Ares and I'll give you your siblings, sibling for sibling, what do you say?" Athena proposed with a winning smirk, which quickly fell as the original hybrid laughed straight at her face.
"Now that was fun! Oh wait, you were actually serious?" Klaus taunted, smiling widely as he took long steps towards the goddess, seeing as he was 'only a vampire' or an 'inferior specie' Athena didn't feel threatened by his approach.
Little did she know how it would soon enough be her biggest mistake.
"Tell me she's kidding" Klaus said while looking at Eris, who was now sporting a smirk on her face.
"Oh she's quite serious actually, Nik! Can you believe this bitch?" Eris exclaimed, laughing loudly as she felt the blade cutting her neck deeper.
"Well I'll have to thank you for the kind proposition, but I'll have to decline.. you see, that beautiful demon is none other than my wife and considering that my siblings are inside the coffins while she stands beside me... I'd think the goddess of wisdom would understand who is and always will be the priority for me..." Niklaus said, suddenly behind the goddess, who was growing frustrated as her plans didn't seem to work.
"It seems I have overestimated you" Niklaus thrusted his hand inside her chest, giving a opening for Eris to break Athena's arm and leave the compromising position.
Eris quickly took the hybrid in her arms and disappeared from the place, heading the screams of Athena as Ares got to her.
"What are you doing? We have to go back there!" The Mikaelson shouted as he was put back on the ground, but Eris only shook her head while looking down at from the top of the building they were in with a very serious expression.
"Ares was only frozen because I was in danger, if we stay there she will be worried about us and could suffer for it, believe me when I say it, Athena has no chance right now... I can feel Ares' anger, the best we can do now is start more conflicts, it always makes her stronger" Eris explained now with a smirk on her face, giving her hand to the hybrid who was narrowing his eyes at her.
"What do you say? Wanna be my substitute partner in crime, start a massacre and find your siblings?"
"Tch... fine"
"Yes! Time for some fun"

Essentia Animus
Second Book of the Soul - Celesi Veil Trilogy When the living essence of three girls are put at risk, giving room for a second essence within themselves, even their hyper developed fantasy world might not be enough to contain their new found ambitions. Another story of another world, these three girls must adapt to their new essence, all while each is left to question if they are truly still even alive. While this story is a sequel of the previous story in the trillogy, it is also fully capable of standing alone in its own light, taking place in a distant corner of a Celese returning readers will be otherwise incapable of recognizing. However, the events of the story are a spoiler for the previous book, in case that matters to anyone. This story takes place over two centuries after the events of Vitae Memorandum, when Celese had developed into an advanced world, improved to a point that it is much like modern-day Earth while still using the gift instead of technology. The Aethyx languages are still present in this book, and even English still exists in the world after the events of the previous book, but are much less of a focus after the same closing events of the previous book. What is instead important is how the ending events of the previous book had resulted in the start of the Instrumentation Era, and exactly how the gift translates in a modern-day sense. While this book is still effectively a fantasy world of its own kind of magic, it isn’t the classical medieval scene that would be typical for such a story. The laws of science still do not exist in Celese, but that didn’t stop it from developing into something that looks similar enough. Earth itself still remains present on the other side of the veil, and its previous exposure continues to shape and advance Celese into the world it has become. This story contains scenes exibiting mania and similar dark themes, as it goes to great length to explore concepts of life and death. While the degree of such themes should not be considered to be as serious compared to matters such as actual horror, the psychological depth is still siginifcant enough to be potentially concerning for people sensitive to matters of this nature, such as any individuals with concerns questioning matters of suicide, mental harm, or a variety of emotional injuries. While none of these subjects actually occur in the story, readers who are currently troubled by such matters may find themselves considering old wounds if they are especially capable of empathy while reading, which could lead to furthered emotional or mental stress. Readers with a high capacity for empathy may find themselves troubled by concerns regarding any potential lack of mental/emotional control as well as considerations regarding the meaning of death. Readers who appreciate subtle dark themes in a story may instead find this to be an interesting twist of the same idea.
