《War》I DECLARE WAR

The white strands were slowly painted golden, reminding her of a white rose after a drop of gold.
Her irises reflected the blood of her enemies, showing the vermilion color that were so familiar for the goddess.
Her sclera, that had usually taken the normal white color, now reflected the darkness of her mind, showing the deepest black anyone had known.
Her whole features changed, showing an animalistic side as she growled down at the goddess of wisdom, her calloused fingers wrapped tightly on a bundle of the white hair of her sister and a smirk showing on her face as she saw the pained look on Athena's face.
The ginger had slammed the goddess' head to the ground, it was evident by the cracked and bent floor just how much strength she had used.
The ichor was running heavily from the woman's head, if she wasn't who she was, the physically older woman would have been long gone.
The side of her cranium had cracked with the blow and Ares's hand that was firmly clenched around her head was preventing the rapid healing of the goddess.
"I'm so sick of you!" Ares shouted, slamming Athena's body once again against the ground, hearing the sickening cracks of bones as the Ichor splashed against her face.
"I'm sick of you thinking you're better than me" she continued, letting go of Athena's head before her right foot collided against the female's stomach, sending her flying towards the street as she collided against multiple walls.
"I'm sick of you treating me like a beast!" Ares quickly appeared behind her, stoping the goddess who was trying to raise from the ground.
Her hands wrapped around Athena's wrist as she pulled them behind her back, slamming her foot against her sister's back as she laughed with the sound of the broken bones, not only from Athena's arms but as well of her spine.

Athena couched the golden blood with wide eyes, everyone knew that Ares' strength came from her anger, but no one knew its limit.
The goddess was already the strongest (physically) of the Olympus, it was a fact known by all, in a hand to hand combat she was always the champion, but even then Athena hadn't seen this much strength.
But the goddess of war wasn't just angry, she was seething, no longer able to see the reason in her movements and while this made many people lose, it only made her stronger.
Rage flowed like lava from her body, making her sister scream as her body started to catch on fire, a power that Ares didn't use that much because she lacked control.
But her conscience was long gone.
Every step she made would burn the ground, the fire never extinguished, only becoming wider and turning an electric blue as the flames intensified.
Screams of horror followed the duo as Ares kicked the other's legs, making them bent into an almost impossible position, making Athena's bones break through her skin.
The humans that were once walking through the streets were now screaming as the fire consumed their bodies, the ones that weren't so close to the women, had been caught by the insanity emanating from the goddess.
Loving couples that were smiling at each other a second ago, had been replaced by toxic people that were aggressively arguing with each other.
Strangers were fighting as if their lives depended on it, not even noticing as their deaths were closing on them.
Soon enough, the entire city could feel it, the heaviness of gravity making them breath heavily, the sudden exhaustion, the raging anger, they were all under Ares' power and she was no where done with them yet.
Not far from them stood Niklaus and Eris, the new partners hadn't even noticed how they became more brutal on their path towards his siblings, pulling their heads from their bodies whenever they didn't get the answer they wanted.

Eris suddenly paused, looking at the body that was falling to the ground with a hole on its neck, before a mischievous smirk appeared on her face.
"I have a plan, but you need to call the goddess of love" Eris muttered darkly, her eyes dazing over as the hybrid noticed a deep red color replacing her dark brown.
Her eyes were Ares'.
She could see Athena crawling away from the goddess, the golden liquid covering her whole body, something that could be considered art by the eyes of the original hybrid, it was a shame that he couldn't see it.
Eris could see that Athena was trying to hide her fear, but the it'd only get more evident with the quick and powerful steps of Ares towards her.
"You want the lightning, don't you? Have you ever touched it? Ever felt it? Why don't I show you, dear sister?" Zeus' lightning on the goddess hand and she pointed it to her sister, a loud scream leaving her lips as the power clashed against her body.
"Oh I'm so sorry, forgot I was the only one being tortured by it, must be hard on you the first time" Ares whispered behind the frozen woman, a crazy smile on her lips as she smelt the blood of the goddess.
"Let me tell you a secret, it gets easier with time" Another scream was heard and Eris was back at her body, seeing now Aphrodite, who was looking at the direction Ares was with a worried look.
"Ah no need to worry, beauty! Ares is only bonding" Eris teased, making the goddess glare heatedly at her.
"What do you need?" Aphrodite asked seriously, her emerald orbs turning to the Mikaelson that was analyzing their interaction.
"Can you find my siblings? it seems that Stefan has taken them" Klaus answered with a reassuring smile once he noticed her gaze wondering back to the direction Ares was.
Aphrodite's eyes widened and she quickly nodded, placing her small hand on Nik's shoulder as she disappeared from the place, reappearing in front of a house with Eris right behind.
"I can feel Stefan there" Aphrodite answered softly, pointing at the quiet house in front of them.
"How did you do it?" The hybrid asked curiously, making the woman grin at him as she shrugged.
"Once charmed by me, I will always know where they are" As soon as they entered the house, Niklaus' eyes widened and his mouth dropped open.
Back with Ares, a smile grew on Athena's face before she started to laugh hysterically, receiving a harsh slap from the other goddess.
"What are you laughing about?" Ares hissed while clenching her hand around the woman's neck, who was still smiling as she choked for air.
"You seriously thought I didn't have a plan b... now you're here with me while your so called husband is unprotected in my trap, release me now and give me the lightning or he will suffer for your actions" Athena said with difficulty, the arrogant smile making Ares tremble in rage as all she could see was red.

Remorse
I have killed many people over my long life. Men, women, children. None have escaped the shadows that I control. It was only one tiny mistake that I made that changed my life forever. I underestimated her, and I would pay for my hubris. “For every death you have given, you will feel their pain.” What? “For every person you have killed, you will feel regret.” Wait, wait… “For every murder you have commited, you will know what you have done.” I don’t think this is going to be pretty. The power leaves her voice as she continues in a softer tone. “I will give you back what you have lost, you will feel empathy again.” Her power releases me and I fall to the ground. Diana. That was her name. I will remember it. ******** This story starts out somewhat dark, but it will lighten up after the first chapter. I tend to not enjoy the psychological tag too much since stories with the tag tend to be a little insane for my liking, but I feel that I would be remiss not putting it on this story, since a lot of it is about the psychology of the main character. All the content warnings are checked since I want to leave my options open to me for the future. I hope you enjoy.
