《Conversations with a ghost (Ghostface x reader)》Chapter 22

Ryan had eventually dropped you off at your house after you, him, Jed, and Blake had hung out for a while
When you walked into your house you felt happy for once like everything was okay for the time being
Although you were tired you grabbed your laptop and decide to watch anything you could find on Netflix while you lay in bed
As you put in a show to watch you slowly fell back in bed
"What the hell," you thought and sat up on your bed pausing your show and looking toward the window
"Hello?"
You mentally cursed to yourself for saying hello while it could have just been a bird or something
You unpaused your show and laid back down trying to shake off the feeling of being watched
But to no Avail
"Ugh" you grunted and got out of bed walking towards your window And opening it before sticking your head out to look around
As you began to look around your backyard from your window you heard a camera shutter behind you
"You miss me that bad?" A low voice said from behind you
You quickly slipped your head back inside and turned around to meet the voice only to bump into someone's chest
You already knew who it was just from the black of his cloak, you didn't lift your head to meet his mask and instead just stared at his boots
Fear struck you as you saw his knife in his hand although it wasn't dirtied with blood it still didn't make it any better that he was playing with it in his hand
"What do you want," you said flatly as you heard him laugh
You didn't know why you were so scared you've had multiple encounters with him, hell he even told you his name but none of that ever reassured you that he wouldn't end up killing you eventually

"Nothing much just wanted to see you"
The tension in the air was high, every time he visited you were always unsure of what his motives were and it made you nervous
You lifted your head to look to the side still not making eye contact with him, you didn't want to be in this position with him it made you all too nervous
"What if he pushes me out the damn window," you thought as you tried to walk to the side but he didn't let you as he slammed his knife into the wall near your face
You flinched and quickly looked back at the floor trying to calm down but you couldn't maybe he was here to kill you or scar you again
The memories of when you had your first encounter with him flooded back into your mind, he chased you through your house and when he finally caught you he left that scar on your stomach
Those initials.
"Y/n? Why can't you look at me?" Danny let out softly and let his free hand snake up your hips and then your stomach and he stopped right where he left his initials
"Hey, Y/n Can you answer a question for me?"
He asked as he lifted your head forcefully and you stared at where you assumed his eyes might be
"What do you want?" you said fearfully as you felt tears prick the side of your eyes
"Aw is that all you can say tonight?" he teased, he'd be lying if he said a part of him didn't enjoy watching you so be so hopeless
"Fuck off" you choked through tears and he laughed squeezing your face tighter making you flinch
"So Y/n is that why you can't call the police on me or even tell anyone about me?" he said and chuckled when he didn't get a response from you but instead a slightly shocked face

You didn't know why you haven't told anyone not even the authorities that he's been showing up at your house at ungodly hours of the night,
And you didn't know why you even tried being friendly with him in the first place
He tried to fucking murder you he left a scar on your body just to remind you of what he did to you he was so fucked up but the little things he did where he would be nice to you and say sweet things maybe that was stopping you from saying something
"Pathetic," he spilled and let go of your face and ripped his knife out of the wall as you flinched
While he was busy inspecting his knife you took this opportunity to shove him and run to your bathroom
As you were about to slam the door close he shoved it from the other side and you fell on the hard floor Flinching when you landed on the side of your leg
You couldn't control your tears anymore and they spilled from your eyes as Danny walked into the bathroom looking at you while putting his knife away
As he slowly approached you scouted away until your back hit a wall and you swiped tears away from your face while looking at the floor
As Danny stopped in front of you he slowly bent down to your level and whispered that he was sorry and that he didn't mean to as he wrapped his arms around your figure
"FUCK YOU, I HATE YOU I HATE EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU I HATE THAT I CAN'T SAY ANYTHING" you shouted between sobs as he tried to comfort you, you kicked your legs like a child and tried to pull him off of you but he didn't budge
And you eventually gave up and wrapped your arms around his waist and let your body fall into his as you cried
"I hate you so much" you cried and you felt his grip on you tighten like what you said might have hurt him just a little
As you sobbed he stayed quiet until eventually picking you up and heading towards your bedroom where he placed you on your bed whipping some tears from your face
He put a blanket over your cold body and walked towards the window as you watched, you thought he was just going to leave like he always did but he surprised you when he closed the window and came back over to you
Your eyes followed his figure as he made his way to the other side of your bed and laid right next to you staring at the ceiling
As you were watching him he wanted to reach for your hand to hold but felt like it wasn't a good idea so he refrained from doing so and turned over so you were staring at his back
You frowned a bit and wondered why he was doing all of this why he was mad in the first place so you decided to ask him
"Why are you so annoying today?"
It was hard not to laugh at your words but he got through it and gave you a response without fully thinking
"I was jealous"

Delve
Summary – Level 1: Delve is an isekai litrpg that follows an average guy who just happened to wake up in a forest one day. He wasn’t summoned to defeat the demon lord or to save the world or anything like that, at least as far as he can tell. The only creature there to greet him was a regular old squirrel. Soon enough, he meets other people, only to discover that he can’t speak the language, and that not everybody immediately trusts random pajama-wearing strangers they met in the middle of the wilderness. Things generally go downhill from there, at least until the blue boxes start appearing. Delve is a story about finding your way in a new, strange, and dangerous world. It’s about avoiding death, figuring out what the heck is going on, and trying to make some friends along the way. It’s not about getting home, so much as finding a new one. Did I mention that there will be math? Summary – Level 2: Okay, but what are you in for, really? Well, this story is supposed to be realistic, or at least, as realistic as a fantasy litrpg can be. The main character doesn’t instantly become an all-powerful god and murder-hobo his way across the universe. Delve is, at its heart, a progression fantasy, but that progression is meant to feel earned. The numbers in this story actually mean something. Everything is calculated, and if you find a rounding error, I expect you to tell me about it. That said, if math isn’t your cup of tea, there is plenty more that the story has to offer. Characters are meant to feel real, and progression isn’t only about personal power; it’s also about allies, connections, and above all, knowledge. Figuring out how the system works is a significant theme. ... What, you want more details? Okay, fine, but this is going to get a bit spoiler-y. Are you sure? Yes! Really sure? I mean, this summary is practically half as long as the first chap– Now! Okay, okay! The main character becomes a magic user, but he takes a route that is not very popular in adventurer culture, namely that of a support. There is a full magic system with various spells, skills, and abilities, but our MC decides that aura magic is the way to go, and that the only stat worth investing in is mana regeneration. Most people at the Adventurer’s Guild think that this makes him a bit of a dumbass, but he’s playing the long game. We’ll see how that works out for him, won’t we? Because of his build, the MC levels up fast, at least compared to normal people. There are no cheats, though, and he is limited in other ways. There are some clear and pretty obvious downsides to his build. That’s what makes it fun, no? Morals? Our MC has them. Again, we’ll see how that works out for him. Realism, remember? Would you be okay with killing someone and looting their body? I sure hope not. POV? The focus is on the main character, but there will be occasional varying perspectives from people around him, or involved in the events related to the main plot. It isn’t going to jump all over the place. Tech is standard medieval stasis. No smartphones, but the MC does have a technical background. Computers and their programming might be involved. There might even be a bit of uplifting down the road, who knows? Anyway, it isn’t the focus. He isn’t going to invent the gun in chapter 1 and change the face of warfare. Romance is not a major focus. Friendships are more the name of the game, though there will be some characters in romantic relationships. There is exploration, though not as much of the geographical nature as you might expect. It is more about exploration of the system and the culture. The pace is slow and detailed, sometimes verging on slice-of-life. The action is meant to be realistic and grounded in the numbers, and it is intended to have meaning beyond simply punching things until they stop moving. The general tone of the story is grey, and some parts can get quite dark. People die. Sometimes, people with names, but not anywhere near GoT level. There is plenty of light, too, though, to balance the darkness. The world is dangerous, but overcoming that danger is why we’re all here, isn’t it? Anyway, if you’ve made it this far through the summary, you clearly like words. I hope you enjoy the story! Cover by Miha Brumec Summary Updated: 2020-06-14

Obligate of a Self-Ordained Sorcerer
Come join the Discord! It was a typical late-night friday for Mara, secluded in her apartment in front of a digital expanse, relentlessly mashing code into a keyboard. An introverted workaholic, but this was what she wanted - what she had strived so hard to achieve. So why did she feel so lost? Her life was productive, comfortable, satisfying. Plenty had it worse but she still felt... ungrateful? Stunted? The right word escaped her, but she could feel the general revelation settling upon her. With it came a choice that would set events in motion far beyond the meager scope of a 'New Game+'. So taking an intrusive portal to god-knows-where, Mara will come to find that her new world offers boons and banes with equal abandon. Magic, skills, and unforgiving difficulty. For a frail human shut-in, finding herself stranded in the middle of a sprawling dungeon was one of the least desirable outcomes. Food and water would be the least of her problems, why oh why couldn't she just get summoned by some pervy king to slay a demon army or something? This is a story of magic and adventure with skills and stats galore. A litrpg / isekai epic that I've been inspired to make after years of wonderful works like "So I'm a Spider," "Rimuru the Slime," "Azarinth Healer," "Negima!?," and plethora of other isekai and fantasy novels and animes. Special shout-out to Douglas Adams, a big influence on narative humor that's had a non-insignificant effect on my writing style. I hope you enjoy joining Mara on her journey as I attempt to scratch the itch they left behind.Chapters target 3-6k~ words. Though I'm personally aiming for a chapter every couple weeks, I think I can at least promise one a month with how busy work's been. I made a Patreon due to requests, if you'd like to support me there I'll be using it to fund artwork and RR ads for increased exposure.
