《Conversations with a ghost (Ghostface x reader)》Chapter 15

"4:20 ugh really," Danny thought as he woke up and checked your clock, you were still there with your arms wrapped around him, he wanted to do some more research on this murder case that you told him about
He knew that this wasn't just any murder, Roseville never had any murders that weren't done by him ever, so it was weird and just out of place for one to come so unexpectedly
Danny slowly pried your arms off him trying not to wake you up, as much as he didn't want to leave your embrace he knew that if he didn't learn more about this murder it would slowly eat him alive
Once he got your arms off of him he placed a small kiss on your forehead and grabbed your laptop, he was slightly thankful you didn't have a password
He searched for news on the murder considering it took place just a few days ago
"There's no fucking way this wasn't on purpose," he thought as he read through an article he found
On Sunday afternoon the bloody body of 17-year-old Lucy Scarlet was found dumped into a river, she suffered multiple slashes and stab wounds
On her chest arms and neck, surveillance from a nearby drugstore shows lucy walking towards the park nearby never to be seen again
Police are still investigating the scene, and the park is now closed,
everyone from the police department sends condolences to the parents of Lucy Scarlet.
Danny slowly closes the laptop, "yeah there's no fucking way" he thought, he really couldn't be too sure though not yet considering the victim was so young maybe it was just some high school drama that led to the murder, it was probably just a one-time thing
Or could there really be another murderer running around he needed to be sure, he didn't know why he was so worried about it in the first place

Maybe it was the thought of someone stealing his spotlight call it narcissism but he didn't like the thought of sharing his spotlight with someone else
He lets out a groan and stands up placing the laptop on your desk, he checks your clock again
5:01
"5:01 at night really?" He whispers, he looks at you giving a small smile before heading to your bathroom, once he walks in he turns on the light and looks at himself in the mirror
He stares at himself for a second, before turning on the sink and washing his face with cold water, it was late at night yes, but he felt like it would help, plus he thought it felt nice
After he dried his face he walked back into your room, he slowly leaned on the doorframe, you were still there sleeping peacefully, and for a moment he forgot about everything he was worrying about
The thoughts of losing you, the thoughts of getting caught, his worry, his fear, the possibility of a new killer, everything
It all faded when he looked at you, you looked so peaceful like you had nothing to worry about
He felt so lucky to see you like this
He felt so lucky to have you care about him as much as you do, maybe he just felt lucky to have you, but how long would he have you until you eventually found out?
He looked out the window for a second and thought about it, how would he hold up without you? he loved the attention you gave him
And he missed your touch even after he spent a whole day with you, he loved you, that was the short answer, the long one he couldn't put into words cause it was just a bunch of emotions and thoughts he felt for you put into one

He couldn't bare to be without you and he knew it
"I love you so much y/n" he whispered as he walked over and climb back into bed with you
Slowly resting his head on your chest again as he wraps his arms around you
"I love you so much"
"Jed cmon it's time to wake up loser," you spoke softly as you ran your fingers through his hair
"Hm how about no," he said and pulled you closer to him if that was even possible
You laughed and tried to escape his grasp to no avail though since he simply held you tighter
"Please I wanna see if Daniel sent me any emails about that case I told you about,"
Now that Danny thought about it, why didn't Daniel say anything to him about the case?
He thought about it for a second and brushed it off thinking Daniel probably thought you would tell him or something
"Fine," he says, he lets go of you and you quickly get up and grab your laptop and sit back on the bed
Danny stares at you while you open your laptop forgetting he left the tabs open last night
"Hey, were you on my laptop last night?" you asked and looked back at him
"Yeah I woke up late and decided to do more research on that murder that happened a few days ago"
"Oh okay find anything interesting?"
"No not really, but don't you think it's weird, I mean Roseville never gets any murders besides the Ghostface ones" he starts
"I mean yeah but some people are just crazy maybe someone finally snapped or something," you said as you scrolled through your emails
"Hey, Y/n do you think there's a new killer or something?"
"Jed I can't be too sure, but if there is a new killer on the loose the gazette is going to be hella busy"
"I hate that your right" he laughs and buries his head into one of your pillows
"Get ready for a whole lot of work next week cause Ghostface just killed someone last night"
You inquired as you read the message Daniel sent you
"Ugh" Danny soon began to regret his decisions

Apocalypse at Mighty Max
God sold us out and the world ended... well, sort of. God may have sold us, or at least, our universe but our world didn't end. Instead, the new owners decided to play, and we all know what that means: Monsters, a System, Magic, Cultivation, and, of course, two new moons! Thanks for reading! I appreciate the interest. This is a rough draft and is intended to flesh out some ideas for a novel that I had. Maybe figure out if I want to do this author thing, you know? If you want immediately OP MCs, fights every chapter, a harem, this is not the story for you. Sorry about that. If you're willing to put up with a long growth curve, an MC that doesn't know what he's doing most of the time but is trying his best both to survive and to help his friends survive, you might enjoy the story. I'm just trying to have fun, maybe create something that in a second draft I can sell on the eBook market. If you're not into that, not into providing helpful comments for revisions, hey, that's cool, but do us both a favor and stop reading now. ** Oh, release schedule For the first weeks, I'll be releasing a chapter (1800-3000 words) a day. Following that, I'll be releasing whenever the mood strikes me. If I get some feedback, the mood might strike me more often, hint! hint!

Free Your Mind
A journey through the mind can be a mixture of the good, the bad, the pure, and the evil. Free Your Mind is a collection of poems and short stories that I've written over the years. As of now, this book is still in progress, but I've planned to release at least 25 to 30 chapters minimum for Free Your Mind. Hopefully you enjoy reading through the works already published for this book, and I hope you'll stick around for what's to come in the future. If you have any comments, ideas, critiques, etc. please let me know! I'm always open to what people have to say about my work. Free Your Mind is a way for me to dabble into releasing my writings for the public to read. And hopefully, if all goes decent with this book, I'll continue to upload different works alongside this. Note: Currently the cover work for Free Your Mind isn't mine. I plan to upload an original design once I've completed the chapters for this book.
