《Conversations with a ghost (Ghostface x reader)》Chapter 14

Danny angrily walked into your house, no longer in his Ghostface get up
He had got away but the cops had given him a harder time than he expected and now he was pissed and more stressed out than before
He quietly walked upstairs to your room and walked in without caring if you were awake or not
And there you were with your laptop in your lap scrolling through whatever caught your interest
He kept his eyes on you and smiled, you looked adorable, and a part of him felt bad for coming here to absolutely destroy you
Hm maybe he would, maybe he wouldn't as long as you were there he was fine either way
He brushed the thoughts away and took his eyes off you, he quietly took out his camera, he then snapped a quick picture of you with the flash on
He noticed as it immediately caught your attention and you looked up and your whole demeanor changed as you gave him a big smile and quickly ran over to him
"JED!" you yelled as you wrapped your arms around him
He loved the way your arms felt around him
And he found himself touch starved within just a few hours of leaving you
"Hello, sweetheart," he says as he wraps his arms around you and places a kiss on your cheek
If he's being honest, he's quite tired and a bit sore,
All the sneaking up on people and stalking around their houses had finally caught up to him, that or maybe he was just getting old he thought
"What were you looking at love?" he asked noticing how focused you were on your laptop earlier
"Oh yeah," you say as you unwrap your arms from around him and he quickly does so as well

As you walk over to your bed and take a seat
He misses the feeling already more than ever
He is so tired but he wants to be with you so much right now that he can't bring himself to leave you
He sighs and walks over to your bed and takes a seat next to you
"Okay so yesterday, well the day before, there was a murder but this time it wasn't Ghostface"
You explained as you showed him the news articles about it
"What so there's another serial killer on the loose?"
"I mean it could be, but it was just one murder so id say probably not another killer but you never know," you said as you clicked threw different articles
"Fuck" Danny thought as he read the article on it and so far it looked like a murder to him,
There was no way it wasn't, Roseville never had any other murders besides the ones that were done by him
"Great," he said as he ran a hand threw his hair this just added to all the stress he had pent up
He soon felt a headache forming and softly fell back onto the bed
"Jed?" you spoke softly and closed your laptop
He loved when you said his name, he just wished you could say his real one, but Ghostface already gave you it
"What's wrong?" you asked as you sat next to him and ran a hand threw his hair laughing slightly when he looked away from you to hide a blush
he loved when you did that when you ran a hand threw his hair and gave him that cute little laugh
"Stressed," he said and looked back toward you
Sometimes he really couldn't get over it, how beautiful you were, he hated getting sappy but when it came to you he would melt

He would lay in bed and hope that you were just a phase but he knew you weren't, and now he's stuck in a grave he dug himself
"What would happen if you found out?" that's all he thought about at night, he hated that he cared for you so much, that he found you completely intoxicating and he couldn't let you go
Fear and worry attacked him all at once, you'd hate him wouldn't you?
Would you abandon him? Any sane person would, but would you?
A part of him wished he never saw you in the first place
Never talked to you
Never stalked you
Never killed for you
Never fell for you
He wished he never met you.
But that other part kept pulling him back to you, so he stayed put right next to you
"Ur so annoying" he sighed and sat up
"Whatever you're the one who shows up at my house at ungodly times of the night," you said
"Whatever you love it," he says
"Maybe I do, anyway it's late are you staying the night loser?"
"Obviously" he fell back onto the bed and shot you a smirk
"I hate you," you said and fell on the bed next to him
He wraps his arms around you and pulls you closer to him, all his worry and fear slowly goes away as he rests his head on your chest
"Y/n?"
"Yes?"
"If I did something horrible would you abandon me?"
"What do you mean?"
"Like if I lied to you, would you leave me?" he says and buries his head deeper into your chest
Okay so maybe he was a little scared of abandonment, he's never really had any intimate relationships ever since he started killing, and this is exactly why
He dreads the thought of you abandoning him and it's all because he's gotten so attached to you
"Jed you're the most amazing person I've ever met, I don't think there's anything that could make me hate you or abandon you," you say and rest your chin on his head while you stroke his back
Emotions of guilt, fear, and sadness, suddenly overtake him, he knows he's only digging himself a bigger grave, and he can't stand it but he loves being with you
He loves having all your attention, he loves having you by his side, he loves having you read over the articles he's made and you giving him appraisal for them
But he hates that he has to worry about losing you, cause he's playing a game that he'll eventually lose and he knows it.
He doesn't wanna do anything but be in your arms tonight and hope your there again the next day
"Sometimes I think your all I need," he says and closes his eyes and lets himself slowly fall asleep
"I'm so never letting that go," you laugh quietly and close your eyes feeling your eyes become heavy
"I love you so much, Jed" you whisper softly before falling asleep
