《Conversations with a ghost (Ghostface x reader)》Chapter 4

The next morning you woke up in your bed, did Ghostface put you here?
You pondered on the situation a little more before you slowly sat up and walked over to your mirror.
You slowly began to lift your shirt
D.J was cut into you, you slowly traced the letters with your finger wincing slightly at the feeling.
You felt like crying again, but you didn't,
You couldn't give him the satisfaction of making you cry again
Plus if these were initials you could have a lead on who he was
You massaged your temples as you felt a headache starting to form
"Fuck" you sighed, the only thing you wanted right now was someone to talk to,
Even if you couldn't tell them what happened last night.
You were so lost in your thoughts that you didn't hear Your phone ping until you received a call instead
Quickly snapping your head around scanning the room with your eyes
It was on your nightstand, you walked over to it and answered it
"Hello?"
"Y/n are you coming to work it's already 2" Jed spoke
You snapped your head in the direction of your clock, it was 2, were you that exhausted?
"Shit" you mumbled quietly
"No I'm going to stay in today I'll just text Daniel about it, thanks for calling me though Jed" you answered thanking him.
You were about to hang up the phone before you heard speak again
"Wait y/n"
"Yes, Jed?"
"I'm coming over." Then he hung up the phone
"WHAT?" you yelled, why did he want to come over? shit was that blood puddle still there? Also, how did Jed get your number?
Amira must have given it to him or something
You quickly ran downstairs in search of the blood puddle, but to your surprise, it was nowhere in sight

"maybe I should thank that fuck head for cleaning my blood off the floor," you thought and laughed to yourself.
"I should change," you thought and walked back upstairs to grab and change of clothes
Once you were done changing you headed back downstairs and put on a movie
Texas chainsaw massacre was the movie of choice, you didn't get to watch it before cause you never had the time for it
A knock suddenly erupted from your front door
And you quickly walked towards it and opened it
"Jed!"
"Hey," he said blankly
"Um come in," you said as you moved out of the way for him to enter
He walked into your house and looked around taking in everything
"Jed, are you okay?" You asked he was usually energetic and talkative
"I should be asking you that, you didn't come to work today and I was worried about you," he said and turned towards you with a sad look
"I'm sorry Jed, it's just I'm not feeling good today," you told him
"Do you wanna talk about it?" He questioned
"Maybe some other time" events from the other night replayed in your head and you began to tear up again
"I'm sorry," you said as you turned away from Jed and wiped your tears
"y/n," Jed said in an apologetic voice and grab your hand and turned you around so you were facing him
He didn't say anything but he grab your chin softly and made you look up at him
You didn't realize how tall he was until now, you felt so tiny compared to him
He began to wipe the tears from your face and then pulled you into a hug
It was now that everything that happened last night sunk in, you tried to keep it together but you couldn't

You almost died last night.
Jed slowly ran his hand up and down your back trying to comfort you as best as he could
Maybe He was a tiny bit hard on you last night But seeing you cry made him feel so good but bad at the same time.
But Last night when he left you for a bit and came back only to see you laying on the floor asleep with tears still staining your face
it made him feel sad that he had done that to you, But when he was on top of you and cutting his initials into you, he felt good
And now here he was comforting you like he wasn't guilty of making you feel like this
Why did you have to make him rethink his actions? What made you so special from the rest? He thought.
You felt Jed's grip on you tighten but you didn't care he was the only one who you could lean on right now
After you stopped crying you slowly broke away from Jed's arms only to give him a big smile and jump right back into his arms again
You still didn't know what to feel for him, but he comforted you when you needed it and it made you feel happy
Knowing that someone cared for you
And would stick by your side as a sense of comfort
"Thank you so much Jed" so said softly into his chest then quickly pulled away again instantly missing his arms around you
He smiled at you and you gave one back.
"So wanna watch a movie?"

When their paths converge, even the false gods will take notice. * * * Hello and thank you for giving Divine Intervention Online a chance. This is not my first book (that honor belongs to The Flock by Chris Sauter- available on Amazon). This is hopefully going to become my second book, the first of a planned LITRPG trilogy. This is a labor of love, dedicated to my absolute obsession with the LITRPG genre that has held me in its grasp for over 3 years. There will be dark situations that perhaps only adults should read including: slavery, violence and the results of war. There will be no harems, little profanity, but possibly some triggers for people who don’t like torture, violence, and other dark stuff.
