《Conversations with a ghost (Ghostface x reader)》Chapter 3

You couldn't sleep
You and Jed were supposed to have dinner yesterday but all the work seemed to tire both of you out
And now here you were, lying in your bed trying to at least get some hours of sleep in, But it seemed like that would never come.
You decided to just get out of bed and watch some movies until you fell asleep on your couch
You headed downstairs turned on the lights and decided to get some water Before you put on a movie
You didn't know why you were so dehydrated but it didn't seem to matter that much anyways
Even when you were drinking water, you couldn't shut up your thoughts
All that you were thinking about was Jed
It seemed weird to you I mean you just met the guy
But that moment when you two were face to face made you all flustered just when thinking about it.
Maybe it just caused you to be lonely,
You lived alone your whole life so it could have been a possibility.
You couldn't help but graze a finger around the ear he had spoken in
Reminiscing about how soft his voice was when he said your name.
No this is crazy you shouldn't be feeling like this, Jed is just your co-worker, your partner, he's just a friend.
A friend you barely met.
You rub your forehead In frustration
Unbeknownst to you, a figure was watching you through your window
And he knew exactly what you were thinking about
Cause he was thinking about it too.
He was frustrated too
Frustrated that when he looked away from you in the office, it was only to cover a red tint appearing on his cheeks.
"Damnit," he thought as he took his eyes off of you
Tonight was the night he would toy with you
The night he'd planned for weeks
The night you would meet Danny not Jed.
His plan was simple scare you, make you go running to Jed for comfort then reveal himself to you
So you would break and he could finally kill you without having to wonder why he liked you so much.

You shifted in your seat as you watched the movie that was playing on your tv
Oceans 8
The movie was good but you felt uneasy as if someone was watching you
Then your phone rang, that's never a good sign, you then grabbed your phone and paused the movie with the remote.
"Hello?" You answered, waiting for a moment. "Uh is anyone-"
"Hello," a deep raspy voice said through the phone
"Who is this?" You questioned, you've never heard anyone with a voice like this before
"That's not important, but I have a question for you" they responded
"Is that oceans 8?"
A wave of terror hit you as you finally knew who you were talking to
Then you heard a smash upstairs
You quickly hung up the phone and went to the kitchen looking for anything to defend yourself with
You cursed at yourself in your head
How could you be so stupid? You wrote articles on this person, you gave this person fame.
And yet you didn't suspect a thing with the phone call and the voice this person had on the phone.
The power cut out next, just as you found a sharp enough knife
"Great," you thought while trying to sneak away from the kitchen in the darkness of your home
"Hiding places hiding places" you repeated in your head
"WHERE THE FUCK ARE ALL THE HIDING PLACES" you frantically thought, not noticing the swift wave of air that hit you.
It wasn't until something caught your leg
"SHIT" you yelled as you fell on the floor dropping the knife in a different direction away from you
Your body quickly shifted into fight or flight mode as someone pulled you back by your leg
You quickly turned your body around and kicked around and hit something
Earning a grunt then a small little "bitch"
You rapidly got back on your feet and went straight towards the knife that was mere inches away from you on the floor
Until you got tackled.
You were about to scream until a hand covered your mouth and a cold sharp blade was placed on your neck

"Scream and I'll fucking slit your throat Y/n," Ghostface said as he adjusted himself on top of you, making sure you couldn't get back up.
He then quickly pinned both of your hands above your head with the free hand he had left
Tears quickly pricked the sides of your eyes, and the thought of never seeing anything or anyone else ever again Filled your mind
"Don't cry my love, I'm not here to hurt you, not that bad at least" he teased
"I just wanna leave something behind is all," he said in a low voice.
it was now that you realized he had swiftly tied your wrist together with one of his straps that he unclipped from his costume
You wiggled under him trying to squirm away from him but to no avail
He simply laughed at your attempts of escaping
"Now hold still alright sweetheart" he stared at you through his mask and lifted your shirt up
By now your face was stained by your tears, In fear of losing your life, and in fear of what he was going to do.
With a hand still covering your mouth
He used his free hand to slowly slide his cold gloved fingers onto your stomach
Stopping just under your chest and going back down to a place on your stomach
"This seems like a nice place," he said as he rubbed a place on your stomach and brought his knife out
You kicked and squirm underneath him
Hoping he'd just let you go, but you knew he wouldn't.
With all your kicking and squirming he seemed to grow frustrated and squeezed your face tighter with his hand
He slowly looked up at you and then laughed to himself upon seeing your tear-stained face
Making you feel completely humiliated by him
"Now don't fucking try anything anymore or I'll cut you deeper than I intend to" he threatened
You finally accepted the fact you weren't escaping this and let him do what he wanted
He then glided the tip of his knife upwards on your stomach to the place he was rubbing with his fingers earlier, and then pressed downwards and proceeded to drag the tip of the knife downwards onto your skin.
You let out a whimper that was hushed by his hand still on your mouth
You then felt him slide the knife downwards on your skin again, this time in a different pattern
Making you slight kick your legs and let out Another whimper
You soon felt hot liquid slide down the side of your stomach and onto the floor
Ghostface put down his knife and admired his work, he left his initials on your stomach
D.J
He ran his index finger on the cut and blood got on his gloved fingers
While looking at you threw his mask he slowly hooked the bottom of his mask with his thumb and Lifted it just enough for you to see his mouth, then he inserted his bloodied glove into his mouth.
He slowly bent down just above your ear
"You look so pretty y/n, I wish I could see you like this all the time" he whispered
"Oh wait that reminds me," he said and quickly pulled out a small camera from inside of his costume
"Smile y/n," he said as he took two quick photos of you underneath him with his initials craved on your bloodied stomach
He then placed his camera back into his pocket on the inside of his costume and slid his knife back into its place.
"Tell anyone about this and I'll be sure to fucking kill you y/n. He stated and let go of his hand on your mouth then slowly undid his straps from your wrist
He then got off of you and left threw your window.
Leaving you laying in a small pile of your blood on the cold floor of your house, with only the moon shining through the windows.
You were too tired to try and fight him, and even too tired to scream for help when he removed his hand from your mouth.
You were too tired to even move, And so you slowly fell asleep on the cold floor.
All the while tears still stained your face.

Ætla Verǫld
AV Online was just a flash in the pan—a harsh, experimental land which lost most of its players in mere weeks. Only the dedicated few remained, carving out their destinies in corners of the vast abandoned world. Lily Quinn wasn't one of them. With a career worth millions in the esports world, she didn't have time for a game like Avo—but when an exclusive beta test for the new version showed up on her doorstep, she couldn't say no… as much as she wanted to. Literally hooked into the simulation, Lily reluctantly entered a world beyond anything she'd ever dreamed of. Accompanied by seven other beta testers desperate to save their beloved game, Lily dives into a vibrant, beautiful world, where mystery and adventure waits around every corner. Despite her reservations, Lily finds a joyful escape in Avo, shattering her cold, hollow reality. It was just a game though… until the group discovered they couldn't log out. Trapped in a game with no rules, and surrounded by cutthroat players eager to kill for a quick windfall, Lily and her ragged band have no choice but to fight their way out, or die in a game that has turned all too real. Hi there! I'm setting off on yet another adventure, come join me :3 Unusually for me, there's only one perspective this time, and it's quite a bit more action-oriented than I usually write. Don't worry, though: everything's still as character-driven as always, and I never get tired of writing dialogue. Just to acknowledge it up front: this story is heavily inspired by EVE Online and the many stories generated by that world. However, since this is a fantasy setting, not sci-fi, don't expect any real parallels. Chapter publish rate for this one will be whenever I write them, as with Epilogue. I don't expect to move as fast here though, since it's not for NaNo. The plan is chapters somewhere in the 4k-5k range, and hopefully frequently. The Last Science takes priority as always though. Special thanks to Reaver and Ace Arriande for pushing me to get this going, and to all my fellow writers whom I've stolen from been inspired by. You're all wonderful people and I love you Quick reminder: Patrons get to read ahead of what's published! Also, try my other works: The Last Science — A Tale of Modern Magic Epilogue — A Post-Fantasy Psychodrama What are you still doing on the synopsis? Get to reading! An Indomitable's Odyssey
The story follows the journey of James Walter from a mortal to reaching the peak of power and the many trials and hardships faced by him to reach his goal. Note- This is a xianxia based story without psychopathic murderer/brainless Mc that we generally see in such novels as I find it very boring and clichéd. It is my take on the genre and I hope it will interest the readers to come back for more. The novel might contain mature content in future. More tags might also be added as the story progresses. The cover art has been done by MadelynBlack. She is a wonderful person and a fantastic artist. If you need help with your cover you may message her about it:)

Beyond Evolution
Bam! Truck-kun, wtf?! I didn’t do anything wrong! Wait, are you god? I get to reincarnate in a fantasy world? I will even have super powers? With this will I finally be able to do all I want?! I will become cool, right? The whole universe will be within my grasp! Thank you, Truck-kun! I will never forget you. Wait, what?… Truck-kun… Screw you! ***** Disclaimer: All materials used in the cover are royalty-freeThis novel is not written with the intent to earn money and therefore a strict release schedule does not apply. I will try to upload the first 7 chapters with the regularity of one chapter every three days, after that the schedule is likely to change to one chapter per week. This would also entail that I will not be putting too much effort into writing this though I will attempt to maintain a decent quality. There will likely be no editing on my part, frankly, I don’t have too much time for this, but we’ll see how it goes.

Transformers: Heroes
Heroic Decepticons Alternate Universe. A century ago, the eons-old war between the Autobots and the Decepticons suddenly and inexplicably came to an end. Since then, many have gone their separate ways, whilst others still hold onto the bitter memories of war. Now, as Autobots and Neutrals join forces in a new directive to capture every Decepticon still left alive, it appears that the Autobots will finally get their chance to even the score, and defeat their enemies once and for all. But when they become the target of seemingly random, yet terrifying attacks, some begin to realize that the enemy may be much closer to home than anyone could have ever imagined. Author's Notes: While it helps to have a little bit of prior knowledge about the world of Transformers, you don't need to be a Transformers fan to enjoy this story, or even a Decepticons fan! One thing I can say for sure is that it is unlike any Transformers fan fiction you've ever come across. This story aims to explore one possible set of motivations in depth in a setting of ongoing conflict between the Autobots (and, more recently, the Alliance - a collaboration between Autobots and Neutrals) and the Decepticons. Although this story takes a lot of things from the G1 cartoon, it is by no means strictly G1 toon oriented and introduces characters and/or ideas from other continuities (Sentinel Prime, Jhiaxus, Thunderblast and Rook (not the Autobot Rook - the other Rook!). Set primarily on Cybertron and Alternity City, it also deviates from certain key elements common in Transformers canon. For one thing, the general consensus that all Autobots are good and all Decepticons are bad is challenged, and a new meaning to the motivations behind their conflict is offered (which is a recurring theme in my Heroic Decepticons Alternate Universes). Some personalities have been altered from their canonical profiles as a necessity (Megatron being the most obvious example) and developed to a much deeper level than the original cartoon allowed. I hope you enjoy and thanks for reading.
