She stood yet again in that 'All Familiar Room' which seemed not so familiar now, The room was ASR's room. HIS PROPERTY! And so was Khushi.

"I own you for the next six months Miss Gupta, You are my slave! A slave who has no identity of her own" Arnav had said angrily pushing her inside the SUV after he had married her in the temple

Khushi would've been more than happy to serve Arnav with all her will, All her life. But the way Arnav had said it, It made her feel disgusting. She disgusted herself for loving Arnav more than her own self.

Arnav And Khushi had planned everything a few months ago, When Arnav had asked her take on marriage. A simple yet elegant Mandap, A beautiful Bridal Wear and the prettiest decorations. Khushi had planned to design her husband's Wedding sherwaani.

Arnav Had promised to design the most beautiful Bridal Lehenga for his Shona. His Khushi!

Khushi had imagined having the most beautiful wedding day ever known. She had imagined her Arnav kissing Khushi's Maang after filling vermillion in it and whispering "Beautiful" in his husky voice.

Not every dream is fulfilled, Not every wish is granted. She had planned to adorn her "SINDOOR DAAN CEREMONY" with happy tears. But today, The way he had manhandled her and dragged her towards the DM idol, She didn't even have the courage to ask him "What's wrong with you Arnav, Why are you manhandling me like this"

All she could do was weep, Cry... Harder and Harder with every passing minute at her fate.

The momentary glimpse, She had caught of her Arnav hidden behind the Mighty ASR had appeared to be more like a fragment of her imagination. And she couldn't help but cling to the last ray of hope.

He had almost choked her with the force of his tie on the mangalsutra. And she looked at Arnav confused and hurt, As if asking "Where have I wronged you Arnav, Why do I deserve being treated like an Animal by you."

She knew Arnav understood her question. After all no one could read Khushi better than her Arnav. He could read her each and every emotions.

FLASHBACK

"God has cheated you big time Shona" Arnav said looking at Khushi amused

"Why?" Khushi asked innocently. She knew what was coming. They had had this conversation a million times since Arnav had confessed his love for her in the campus canteen of their department in Harvard.

"You can't keep any secrets" Arnav said matter of factly

"Really? How come?" Khushi asked chuckling

"You have very beautiful expressive eyes, They give away all your secrets" Arnav replied

"Aww.. That's really bad, Then tell me, What secret am I hiding now?" Khushi said

"Okay, Let's see... You're hiding that... You're hiding that you're missing your parents" Arnav had started happily but he had really read her mind, He had really seen through Khushi's walls, He had really deciphered the sadness in her eyes

Khushi felt a sharp pain in her heart and her eyes welled up with tears. She had been controlling since morning, Why did Arnav have to trigger it.

"Oops!! Arnav!! Brace yourself Arnav, You can't let her break down again... Its your fault, You have created this mess. So you'll have to fix this mess too." Thought Arnav

"Shona, Don't cry Baby... Ma Bauji se baat karlo... Phone karlo unko, Unki aawaz sunogi... Toh better feel karogi (Shona don't cry baby... Talk to Ma Bauji. Call them. You'll feel better after hearing their voice)" Arnav attempted to console her.

Khushi hugged Arnav tightly. Arnav kept a consoling hand on her back and rubbed soothing circles

"I miss them Arnav" Khushi said whilst sobbing on his chest

"Calm down, Calm down shona... Call them and talk to your parents" Arnav said

Khushi looked at Arnav and then immediately hid herself in his embrace

"I can't... Arnav, I can't the talk to my real parents... They can't talk to me!" Khushi

Real Parents? Where did that come from, Were the Guptas not Khushi's real family. Arnav was confused, But before Arnav could ask her anything, Khushi said

"I was eight years old, When they died in a car accident. At first, I thought they'll be back in a few days... But gradually, I understood that death was irreversible. That they won't come back, That they had left me forever. That's why I fear dark places and Fast moving cars" Khushi said sobbing

Arnav held her protectively close to her, As if ensuring her that he's there. He knew how painful it is to lose parents. He wanted to be there for her! Forever

"I love you shona. I love you so much, Don't cry baby... I'm always there... And I'm not leaving anytime soon" Arnav ensured her and held her close to himself

"Promise?" Khushi asked innocently

"Pakka Promise, Shona" Arnav said softly

"I love you Shona" Arnav had said then

But today he broke his promise, Today, He said he hates her. He hates her more than anything else in this world he's no longer there by her side, He left her alone. But she closed her teary eyes and slept near the poolside, resting her head against the wall. Where Arnav had told her she'd sleep for the next six months. She slept, Hoping for a better tomorrow
