《The Bookworm {Jasper X Reader}》The End

After that whole incident went down, Jasper locked herself in her room. She didn't respond to any of your calls, she didn't answer when you spoke to her, hell, she didn't even want to help out in a mission. She was just locked there. With your laptop.
You had no idea what she was doing, and you were getting honestly scared. There was no telling what she was planning.
You had no other choice but to get on with your life. It still hurt you inside whenever you passed by that door, or when you looked at her special sitting sack in your living room. You read some of her favorite books over and over again, remembering the time you used to do that together.
Every night, for two weeks, you just wanted to cry yourself to sleep. You felt like it was your fault, you didn't stand up for her when she was arguing with the Crystal Gems. But then again, could you just let her shatter Lazuli? You still held a grudge against her, sure, but she didn't deserve to die.
These thoughts plagued your mind like a thousand little butterflies fluttering in your head.
Then, one day after two weeks passed, you heard a soft clicking noise. Your heart skipped a beat as you rushed towards her door. And sure enough, she was standing in the door way.
"Jasper! I-"
She held out a hand, signifying for you to stop talking. There was something written on it, but it was in the Gem writing, which you didn't understand.
"I'm sorry for what I almost did, (y/n), and I'm aware that it could have put a bad light on me... I just couldn't bear the thought of you dying..."
"Oh, Jaspy, I kno-"
"...but. I know that me locking myself in there could have some destructive effects on our relationship. Also the fact I tried to murder a person for you.

"So while I was in there, I did some research! I looked at how we could strenghten our bond and make this a bit more meaningful!"
She looked at her hand and continued.
"We could get.... married?"
You felt like your lungs just bursted and you let out a sharp blow of air.
"What?"
"I said we could get married! That's how humans do it, right? I also learned that you are supposed to give your... ehhh"
She looked at her hand again.
"... Fiancé a ring or something like that... so with the help of my gemstone, I made you this!"
She held out a ring of what looked like pure jasper quartz with a cute little ornament that resembled your lover's helmet.
You stared at the ring in awe.
"Jasper, I don't know what to say-"
"Oh! Right! You are supposed to kneel!"
She fell on her one knee with a heavy thud.
"(y/n)... will you marry me?"
Your eyes watered, while your mouth curved into the biggest smile possible.
"O-of course I will! Yes! Yes!" You shouted as you jumped to embrace her.
"I love you Jasper! I missed you sooo much!" you cried.
Your new fiancé laughed a loud, thunderous laugh as she slipped the ring onto your finger.
"I love you too, (y/n)... which reminds me of the fact that we could get kids too!"
"Wait wha?"
"You know, I could shapeshift a... what was it called... peee-"
You cut her off with a deep kiss.
"We can talk about that later" you laughed. She grinned widely and kissed you back.
You panted heavily as you ran around the house, trying to catch a little girl. Her light blonde hair was flowing behind her as her little feet with patches of different colored skin carried her through the house. You were both laughing. The girl was faster than you thought.

"Catch me mommy!" she looked behind her, crying out playfully, her orange gemstone nose giving out a bright shine.
"I'm trying!" you laughed as you ran after her. She was so much faster than what would be expected of a child her age.
Suddenly, you heard fast heavy footsteps, nearing you. You were then swooped from the ground and put over a familiar orange shoulder as the person laughed loudly.
"Not fair! You are so much faster than me!" you heard your daughter yell as the person sat down, holding you both in a tight embrace. You all laughed happily together.
You, Jasper, and your little daughter, in your little peaceful house in Beach City.

The Fall of The Gods
Synopsis: In the year 1966, an army of Orishas led by Sango stormed Amadioha’s palace and razed it the ground, starting a decades-long war between two of Nigeria’s most powerful divine orders. Blinded by the rage of battle, the gods did not detect the rise of a third power, far greater and deadlier than anything they could have imagined. When gods, on both the Yoruba and Igbo sides, begin falling mysteriously to their death, Sango seeks the help of Odion, a Lagos teenager destined to rise from his dark past to become a hero. But can a human hero save the gods from a doomed fate? The Fall of the Gods is an action-packed YA fantasy based on the mythical bond that ties human life with the realm of the divine. It demonstrates the power of stories to change our lives. It also reminds us that Sango and Amadioha are not relics of the past and that, sometimes, what it means to be a hero in today’s world is knowing how to find inspiration in the stories of the gods. PLEASE NOTE: Weekly chapters will be released every friday along with interludes once in a while about Nigerian mythology. I'm a young 17 year old writer and I am new to the site so I will appreciate your comments and reviews. Thank you very much.

Anchor Points: Age of Heroes
If you had a chance to reset history, knowing what we know now, would you take it? Six years after kicking an alien expeditionary force off the surface of the Earth back to their staging bases in the asteroid belt, and aided by stolen alien technology, the United Terran Republic Navy has finally achieved enough warship production to put the enemy on the run. Despite the facade of unity projected by the Earth's new federal government, deep cracks still lie under the surface that threaten the stability of world peace and the ability to protect humanity with a unified military response. Within this backdrop, the North American Union, now a mere state in the greater union, has created or reopened multiple off-books projects and black sites to house secrets both old and new that would be far too toxic or dangerous to be known to the wider world at such a delicate stage in world history. One of these secrets will draw Captain Henry O'Toole from his comfortable posting with the Jupiter Fleet straight into a world of conspiracies and secrets that could destroy the new, still fragile world order. Captain O'Toole will take command of mankind's first true starship with a secret mission that would be seen as treason by the new federal government. His orders are to use a prototype faster than light drive to travel through dimensions higher than spacetime and ride the expansion of the universe to create an off-books colony solely for the NAU. There are consequences for escaping time's jealous grasp, which instead position them to have a chance to change the course of human history. Fate has called the Indomitable Will and her crew into the Age of Heroes, will they be able to rise to the challenge?
