The meeting with gajeel and the dragon slayers was a bit tense since they found out they are in mating season and don't know who their Mates are yet.
Lavender's body has been felling hotter than before, but it was mostly when she was around gray. He didn't know what was going on with the dragon slayers but he knew what was going on with the demon slayers.
From what gray knew from the people he knows is that there is a certain time when mating season comes and they'll either have to wait out the process or find their mate. Sadly gray doesn't know who his is neither does Erza and the two became quite worried.
Erza pulled gray to one of the corners of the guild to speak about something, "gray, have you found your mate yet?" Erza asked, worriedness in her voice. He sighed and shook his head. "No not yet. But have you noticed something weird going on?" He asked and she gave him a confused look. "What do you mean?" She asked with a raised eyebrow at her guild mate and he pointed to Lucy, laxus, natsu, lavender, gajeel, sting and rouge. "Notice how all the dragon slayers we know are in one guild and two of them are not from fairytale." He told and she realized he was right.
"That is weird, but what about Wendy? I don't see her with them" she asked and he shrugged, "no clue but flame brain and laxus are usually never around eachother and natsu causes fights, but I took notice yesterday about their weird behavior" he said and she looked at the group of dragon slayers.
Laxus looked around while staying with the other dragon slayers, only two people In the guild knew what was wrong with the dragon slayers and those two were mirajane and master Makarov.

"Lav, you feel hotter than yesterday" Lucy told her as she felt her head. "I hate this..." Lavender mumbled and the guys took notice. "Hey, once this is over you'll feel fine again" laxus told her and she huffed "it's not like the side effects took affect on you yet!" She grumbled at him while sitting on the chair next to Lucy.
Lucy had thought about something and went to whisper it into Lavender's ear. "Are you going to confess your feelings for gray yet?" Lucy asked whispered and lavender looked at her with flustered face. "No! Besides I doubt he'll like me back..." She mumbled the last part.
"Oh come on! Just do it!" Lucy exclaimed and the male's looked at the two female dragon slayers. "Why doesn't Wendy have to go through this like us?" Lavender ignored Lucy's Rambling about her asking gray out and looked at the male's. "Because she's too young so it won't work on her till she's older" gajeel explained and the others frowned "lucky" they grumbled.
